[Sissel makes it back into his house, locking the door behind him. He turns and enters the living room, seeing Velma eating a sandwich while watching television. She’s wearing a red hoodie, glasses and jeans that have scratches along them.]
Sissel: Hey.
[Velma turns to Sissel and notices him.]
Velma: [surprised] Hey stranger, where have you been?
Sissel: Just… for a walk.
Velma: Okay… try to make it home before sundown next time, okay?
Sissel: Okay.
[Sissel turns to sit on the sofa and sees Tracey and Goldberg sat comfortably on the sofa. He stops for a second, then sits down on the floor in front of it. Velma looks at him confused.]
Velma: You can sit on the sofa, y’know?
Sissel: [thinking] It’s… fine, I’m gonna go upstairs anyway.
Goldberg: Close one.
Sissel: Thank you.
Velma: [confused] What?
Sissel: Um! I… tell you what, I’ll just talk later.
Velma: [worried] Alright… you okay?
Sissel: Great! Yeah, great! Um, great!
[Sissel quickly gets up and runs upstairs. He turns at the top into a doorway and enters his room, hitting the lights on. On his bed are sat Goldberg and Tracey.]
Goldberg: [sarcastic] I suppose you’re always this subtle then?
Sissel: Oh… shut up.
Tracey: Yeah, he is.
Sissel: [defensive] Tracey!
Tracey: What? I’m not wrong.
[Sissel moves over. Goldberg gets off the bed as Sissel sits next to Tracey.]
Goldberg: Right… you two want my help then?
Tracey: He does.
Goldberg: Okay… what do you need then?
Sissel: [nervous] I just… need answers to a few questions, if that’s okay.
Goldberg: Yeah, I can do tha-
Sissel: [quickly] Why didn’t you save Tracey?
[Tracey sighs, looking to Sissel who is evidently regretting asking, although maintaining sight with Goldberg.]
Tracey: [upset] Cecil-
[Goldberg raises his hand, quieting Tracey.]
Goldberg: The truth?
[Sissel nods. Goldberg sighs.]
Goldberg: [upset] Well, um… I tried. I said that before, I stayed by the body after hitting it for three minutes. Before I could attempt to bring her into a hospital, I saw that the White Rabbit had appeared. We… evidently… didn’t leave on the best terms. So I had to run. Before he got me to.
[Sissel nods slowly, Tracey moving slightly closer.]
Goldberg: I imagine that you feel there’s more to it, but there isn’t. I ran from a killer. I’m sorry for your friend.

[Sissel nods again.]
Sissel: [upset] Next question… um-
Tracey: Are they in danger? My team?
[Goldberg looks to Tracey, thinking.]
Goldberg: If the Rabbit has seen any of them struck by the Storm or they’ve gotten too much information then-
Sissel: They have a picture of your screen saver, which they think has the White Rabbit’s face on it.
[Goldberg nods.]
Goldberg: Then they are definitely in danger.
[Tracey nods back.]
Tracey: Can we fix this?
Goldberg: If you can make them unsee the picture, but now that they’ve seen it… they’re basically doomed.
Sissel: [annoyed] Can you not say that?
Goldberg: I’m being honest with you! I’m not going to give you false hope!
Sissel: [annoyed] You could help us!
Goldberg: [annoyed] I am trying!
[The door to the room opens and Velma enters. She looks a bit confused towards Sissel.]
Velma: [worried] Cecil? Honey?
Sissel: [calm] Yeah?
Velma: [worried] Are you… are you okay honey?
Sissel: [calm] Yeah, I’m… I’m fine, just was on the phone.
Velma: [confused] Oh, with… with who? You were getting pretty loud.
Sissel: Sorry! I’ll… I’ll keep it down.
Velma: [worried] Okay… thank you.
[Sissel smiles and Velma leaves, him sighing.]
Goldberg: Do you always lie to your mother?
Sissel: Well if she finds out a man in a rabbit mask is going to come and try to kill her.
Goldberg: I didn’t say that.
Tracey: It’s not a bad logic jump.
[Tracey gets up, standing next to Goldberg and looking to Sissel.]
Tracey: Okay, plan? We save for tomorrow. We’ll make a list of things to confirm and go over that when we have the chance.
Sissel: Goldberg? You staying?
[Goldberg looks to Tracey.]
Goldberg: If it’s all the same, we need to talk.
Tracey: Okay.
[Tracey smiles to Sissel.]
Tracey: See you in a bit.
[Sissel waves as they both leave the room, phasing through the door. Sissel lays back down in his bed, looking miserable. After a few seconds, Goldberg phases his body back through the door and jumps Sissel.]
Sissel: [surprised] Don’t do that!
Goldberg: [curious] Who’s Olivia C?
Sissel: [surprised] I don’t know… why?
Goldberg: Because you’re mother is eavesdropping on you outside.
[Sissel quickly gets up and moves over to the door. He opens it and sees Velma stood opposite the doorway. She looks up at him, surprised. He sighs and slams the door shut.]
