[Goldberg arrives at the classroom, immediately entering. He’s in casual wear, wearing a purple shirt and dark blue hoodie with glasses on. He enters and finds the room to be empty. He turns and closes the door, then gets a gun shakily pushed up against the back of his head. He takes some deep breaths.]
Sissel: [forceful] Sit.
[Goldberg grabs a chair slowly and moves down into the seat. The gun slowly moves away from him, to which he turns around and sees Sissel. He’s visibly angry, trying to hold back. He sits down across from Goldberg and keeps the gun nonchalantly pointed at him.]
Sissel: [angry, faux-calm] So… you killed my girlfriend.
[Goldberg sighs, scratching an itch on the side of his face.]
Goldberg: [remorseful] Do you think I knew she was-
Sissel: [angry, faux-calm] I don’t care if you knew, I care that you did it. Didn’t stop, didn’t think, you just kept on going.
Goldberg: [remorseful, defensive] That is not true.
Sissel: [angry, faux-calm] Really? Because I was there. I saw your car drive off away from her body.
Goldberg: [remorseful, defensive] You didn’t see me trying to save her then? Standing next to her for ten minutes, unconscious, trying to stop the bleeding?
Sissel: [angry] You should have taken her to a hospital!
Goldberg: [remorseful] No, I couldn’t do that.
Sissel: [angry] Why not?
[Goldberg sighs, looking at the floor. Sissel sits up straight, gun still barely pointed, and chuckles angrily.]
Sissel: [angry, smug] Never mind, I’m being stupid. Of course you couldn’t.
[Goldberg looks at Sissel, confused. Sissel leans forward, placing the gun in his lap and pointed straight at Goldberg.]
Sissel: [angry, smug] A killer walking into a place like that, they’d snatch you in a second. Although you could probably get away with it, I still don’t know how you ended up in two places at once. Unless that’s another thing you can do.
Goldberg: [confused] What are you talking about?
[Sissel moves the gun up, pointing it at Goldberg’s head.]
Sissel: [angry, smug] You’re the White Rabbit.
[Goldberg’s face drops.]
Sissel: [angry, smug] You have superpowers. You came here to kill those guys before that Storm hit and gave more people superpowers but you failed. Because they got people like me.
Goldberg: [worried] It did what?
[Sissel smiles.]
Sissel: [angry, smug] I don’t even know what I am yet, all I know is that I’m going to win.
[Goldberg backs away slightly, incredibly worried.]
Goldberg: [worried] The White Rabbit is here?
[Sissel looks at him, confused, then shakes it off.]
Sissel: [confused, angry] Well yes, that’s… I don’t know what you’re-
[Goldberg quickly stands, moving to the door. Sissel stands with him, pointing the gun directly at Goldberg. However he doesn’t seem to care, as he looks at the window to see him.]
Goldberg: [panicked, muttering] Fuck… God, fucking… fuck!
[Goldberg turns back, seeing Sissel with the gun. Goldberg looks at him, serious.]
Goldberg: [forceful] If that goes off, I’m going to be very upset.
Sissel: [angry, panicking] I… that’s the thing, I don’t know what I’m going to do still.
Goldberg: [confused] Why did you bring me here then?

[Sissel sighs, shaking slightly.]
Sissel: She couldn’t fight what happened to her. I can make up for that.
Goldberg: If you think that, you’ll be very disappointed.
[Sissel takes a deep breath. He looks at the floor and hits himself in the head with the gun. He points it at Goldberg again as he lunges forward. Sissel panics and fires. The gunshot is cut off half way as Goldberg catches the bullet and it immediately vanishes, then moving to grab the gun and discard it across the room. Sissel stares at him, shocked.]
Goldberg: [concerned] Now then… since we’re done here… ready to listen?
[Sissel nods slowly. Goldberg grabs him and moves him down from sight from windows.]
Goldberg: [quietly] Look, I… I am not the Rabbit. Okay? But I knew him.
Sissel: [quietly, upset] How?
Goldberg: [quietly] We were a team. Me, him, the Tweedles, a few others.
Sissel: [quietly, upset] Who was he then?
Goldberg: [quietly] I don’t know.
Sissel: [quietly, upset] How can you know know?
Goldberg: [quietly] It was for protection! If we made enemies, which we did, we would never be able to give a name! Just a face. That’s all.
[Sissel slowly nods. He looks at Goldberg, shaking.]
Goldberg: [quietly] You never have to trust me, I’m not saying to… except for this once. Because if you don’t then you’re gonna miss something important.
Sissel: [quietly] What?
Goldberg: [quietly] If the White Rabbit is here, then it’s not for any of you.
[Sissel and Goldberg pause, Sissel realising what he means.]
Sissel: [quietly] He killed those two that broke in.
Goldberg: [quietly] Benny and Evan Tweedle, they caused the Storm that gave us all powers. If he’s gone for them then he’ll go for the person that protected them.
Sissel: [quietly] That’s you, isn’t it?
[Goldberg nods.]
Goldberg: [quietly] Where are your friends?
Sissel: [quietly] Planning. The Rabbit was after them earlier.
Goldberg: [quietly] Okay… well before I die, here’s a bit of information then. I was wrong, you’re all in danger.
Sissel: [quietly, panicked] What?
Goldberg: [quietly] You’re in danger. If he’s put you in his sights, or any of you, then you need to run as far and fast as you can. I’ll deal with him.
[Goldberg tries to stand but Sissel stops him.]
Sissel: [quietly, angry] Why are you staying then? Why are you helping us if you’re his friend?
Goldberg: [quietly, forceful] I was never his friend, just a pawn. I’ve seen the type of thing this guy can do and I am not going to let that happen ever again. Cecil, just go. If you stay then you’re a dead man.
[Goldberg gets up on his feet as Sissel gets on his, looking at the floor. He then looks at Goldberg.]
Sissel: Tracey would have stayed.
[Goldberg looks at him, exhaling. He looks at the ground, realising who that is. He looks at Sissel, who nods.]
Goldberg: [remorseful] Okay… if you sure then it’s your funeral. Get the gun.
Sissel: Will it help?
[Sissel moves over and grabs the gun.]
Goldberg: No, but I want you to keep hold of it.
Sissel: [confused] Why?
[Sissel hands Goldberg the gun, but he pushes it back on Sissel.]
Goldberg: Because if the White Rabbit catches you, there’s only one way it’ll be quick.
[Sissel looks at the gun and shakes again.]
