[Sissel runs down a corridor and passes unknowingly past Leigh and Chelsea, both holding coffees and drinking. Leigh is looking at Chelsea in worry, which she notices.]
Chelsea: [confused] What is it?
Leigh: [worried] Well… based on what you told me, doesn’t coffee make your power work?
[Chelsea shook her head, taking a quick swig.]
Chelsea: [chuckling] Only if it has a battery in it. Tried it out a couple of times.
Leigh: Okay… to be honest, I have a couple of questions now.
[Chelsea hands him her coffee, taking a few steps forward and ruffling through her pockets.]
Chelsea: Want me to show you?
Leigh: It’s fine, really.
[Chelsea pulls out a battery from her pocket.]
Chelsea: You sure?
Leigh: [insistent] Of course!
[Chelsea shrugs, pocketing the battery and getting her coffee back.]
Chelsea: Your loss.
[She takes the coffee back, both taking a large drink from it. Leigh sighs after it, squishing the empty cup and putting it in a nearby bin as they walk again.]
Leigh: [embarrassed] Um…
[Leigh exhales, looking around the room.]
Chelsea: What?
Leigh: [embarrassed] Um… just… j-just something I’ve been thinking about.
Chelsea: Wanna talk about it.
[Leigh squeaks a bit, chuckling after.]
Leigh: [embarrassed] Maybe… eventually…
[Leigh shakes his head, Chelsea drinking again.]
Leigh: [embarrassed] I don’t know, I’m nervous about it.
Chelsea: Is it about the powers stuff?
[Leigh shakes his head, looking down.]
Chelsea: Wanna talk about it?
Leigh: I… don’t think so yet.
Chelsea: Well if you wanna talk about it…
[Chelsea smiles to him as she goes to open a door at the end of the corridor. She misses the handle, looking at the door and seeing it slowly opening for her. She looks back to Leigh who’s holding out his hand and slowly turning it. She sighs.]
Chelsea: Is this you?
Leigh: I thought I was being nice.
[Chelsea laughs at him mockingly, throwing the coffee cup at him. He flinches as it went over his shoulder, turning and stopping it in mid-air. It slowly moves back over to his hand, showing it to Chelsea triumphantly.]
Chelsea: [impressed] Not bad.
Leigh: [smug] I try.
[He comes over, the two continuing their walk. Cuts to Liv and Gary together, sat at a table and thinking. Velma is distracted on her phone.]

Gary: [annoyed] Can I ask something?
Liv: Shoot.
Gary: [annoyed] Why do I not get a power?
[Liv looks at him and shrugs, pocketing her phone as it buzzes.]
Liv: I don’t know, this thing already makes less than no fucking sense.
Gary: [annoyed] We were all in that Storm! Me and Sissel, we both should have powers but we don’t. Why not?
Liv: I don’t know I said, why you asking me anyway?
Gary: [annoyed] I’m not, I’m venting!
Liv: [annoyed] Fine then!
[Gary leans back in his chair, looking around the college.]
Gary: Bit barren today…
Liv: Apparently ton of people got hurt in that Storm.
Gary: [surprised] Really?
Liv: Yep. Hell, there’s this kid in my class called Bayard who apparently nearly lost his dog in it.
Gary: [surprised] Crap…
Liv: Yeah…
[Gary thinks for a few seconds.]
Gary: How many people do you think were in hit?
[Liv turns to Gary, sighing.]
Liv: If you’re gonna be jealous-
Gary: I’m just saying, we know that there is a killer White Rabbit around who seems to target people around here recently so…
[Gary headbutts the table, gripping his head and shocking Liv.]
Liv: [surprised] Jesus, Gary!
Gary: [angry] What the fuck is happening? We’re meant to be going through a nice fucking easy-breezy year but instead!
[Gary punches the table.]
Gary: [angry] Instead we’re playing fucking Scooby Doo to unmask a fucking murderer!
Liv: [worried] Gary, just try and calm down.
Gary: [angry] Why should I? This is not what I fucking wanted!
[Gary gets up from the table, punching it again.]
Gary: [angry] I did not come here, after all the shit we’ve been through with Tracey, just to end up in a fucking crisis!
[Gary storms off, angrily ranting to himself. Liv watches him leave, sighing. She pulls her phone out and opens her text messages to Velma. A few have already been sent.]
Liv: [text only] It seems like he’s getting better.
Velma: [text only] Are you sure he’s fine?
Liv: [text only] Yes I am, trust me. He’s been fine at home, right?
Velma: [text only] He talks to himself a lot.
[Liv reads the last message, looking up to where Gary went and then starting to reply.]
Liv: [text only] I’ll ask him about it.
