[Liv made it into the run down house, Cheshire following her inside. She sits down in sofa room, going to it and dropping down on top of it. She sighs, Cheshire jumping up and sitting on top of her lap.]
Liv: [happy] Hey buddy… hey…
[The cat purrs, curling up on top of her. Their eyes start to glow a yellow shade, which makes Liv immediately curious.]
Liv: [curious] Um… what is…
[Liv holds Cheshire a bit closer, looking at his eyes. As she looks at him, Cheshire moves and gently headbutts Liv. He keeps his head attached to hers. Then, slowly, his mouth starts to stretch across his face into a large smile, the cats fur turning slowly white. It then cuts to Sissel, walking down the street that Tracey had died on. The road is occasionally busy with a couple of cars driving down. He is on the phone, distracted.]
Sissel: I’m not coming home yet.
Velma: [angry] You’ve been missing for a day! I am worried about you, can you come home please?
Sissel: I just… I need to do something, I’ll try to be quick.
Velma: [angry] You cannot stay out all night without telling me where you are! Why didn’t you call me?
[A person appears behind Sissel, following quietly behind him. There are no footsteps.]
Sissel: I will call you when I’m coming home. Okay?
Velma: [angry] Don’t you dare talk back to me! That is no way to talk to your mother…
[Sissel sighs and lowers the phone from his ear, walking along quietly as he notices something, remaining quiet. He takes the phone back to his head, Velma still yelling at him.]
Sissel: [worried] I will be back soon, don’t worry.
Velma: [angry] What? No! Don’t you d-
[Sissel hangs up his phone and pockets it. He stretches a bit, the person behind him slowly getting closer. He takes a quick breath, then turns and quickly punches the person which knocks them over. Sissel stumbles forward and trips on the person's arm, falling onto the ground. He hits his head, immediately pulling up his head and groaning in pain with the person. He rolls over, the person just holding themselves in pain. Cuts to the house again, with Leigh, Chelsea, Vince and Gary heading in. They’re mid way through a conversation.]
Leigh: [concerned] Like exactly the same or-
Vince: Well I had to jump through the window, but I think maybe.
Gary: If Chelsea can time travel, then you can probably end up-
Vince: [worried] Please don’t put that thought into my head. Again.
Gary: So you did consider it?
[The group head into the room with the table, Chelsea getting in and sitting on it.]
Chelsea: To stop you right there? I am not helping a murderer. And if that is Vincent...
[Liv clears her throat, turning everyone to her attention. The group look over at her. She seems incredibly tense, her face frozen in shock. She’s stood in the doorway to the next room.]
Liv: [stammering] If I may… I think we have a problem.
Gary: Yeah, we were just talking about it.
[Liv shakes her head quickly.]
Liv: [stammering] Yes, but… a different one.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
[Liv walks over to the table, Cheshire following her. She taps it and Cheshire jumps on, sitting in front of the group. They all look at Liv and Cheshire confused.]
Liv: [stammering] I don’t think we’re the only ones that were got… superpowers.
[Liv looks to Cheshire and strokes just behind his left ear. He gives the wide smile again and his eyes glow yellow. His fur then glows white and quickly starts changing between all colours, making a blend between them. Once she stops, the colours settle down on purple and green stripes. The group are all staring at it in complete shock. Cheshire’s eyes eventually settle down into being green in one and orange in the other. Gary backs away very slightly.]
Gary: [worried] Magic cat.
Chelsea: [concerned] Well… come on, this is just a cat. Who else could have powers, really?
[Vince perks up to himself, not looking at the rest of the group properly but now looking incredibly worried. Cuts back to Sissel getting up, pushing himself onto his feet and groaning. The person is still on the floor, holding their nose which is covering their face. They have a feminine voice. Sissel gets up and grabs onto the person, pulling them up.]
Sissel: [angry] Why are you following me? What do you want?
Tracey: [muffled, surprised] I want my nose to stop hurting, Jesus Christ.
[Sissel goes wide-eyed, letting go of the person and backing away slightly, standing up. They pull their hands away from their nose, revealing Tracey. She’s still covered in the marks from when she was hit, including the large gash on her neck. She rubs her nose off and smiles. She looks to Sissel.]
Tracey: [shocked] You… can see me.
[She’s about to say something else, but stops herself. She chuckles awkwardly.]
Tracey: [awkward] Um… helluva punch you got there.
[Sissel stays still, shaking. He starts breaking down.]
Sissel: [panicking] T-this this… this is not happening, y-you’re-
[He starts trying to walk away but slips on his turn as a car drives by. He sees it coming, as does a quickly panicked Tracey.]
Tracey: [panicking] No!
[Tracey reaches out and grabs Sissel’s arm, quickly pulling him back onto his feet before the car collides. She holds onto him, Sissel looking completely shocked.]
Tracey: [concerned] Are you okay? Did you hurt anything? I hope not. God, I’m so sorry, I just… I don’t know what I thought, you…
Sissel: [shocked] You’re… you just… saved me.
[Tracey looks at him, scoffing.]
Tracey: Of course I did.
[Tracey takes his hand, holding it.]
Tracey: You can see me again, you think I’m just gonna let you die like that?
[Sissel chuckles awkwardly, looking down at their hands holding.]
Sissel: [shocked] Y… you’re… cold.
[Tracey looks at their hands.]
Tracey: Yeah. I feel cold.
[Sissel looks at her, quickly pulling her in for a hug and starting to cry. She’s surprised.]
Sissel: [crying] I… I missed you so much.
[Tracey wraps her arms around him, chuckling.]
Tracey: I missed you too.
