Jacob turned and ran not even uttering a word of warning to the others, if they are not running at this time they deserved to die. No one in their right mind should even be standing still. As Jacob thought about that, he saw the ground coming closer to his face, he brought up his arms to try and reduce the impact. Moments later he felt the impact on both of his arms the pain courses through in waves. Jacob gritted his teeth turned back to see what caused his fall and realised a women was apparently sleeping on the floor. She had flowing hair in such a beautiful shade of red reminiscent of a dark red apple. Jacobs’ heart skipped a beat, her face looked like it was sculpted out of marble, white and without blemishes. How did she managed to sleep through the voice in the head, the massive roar from the tiger and the tremors that are happening in real time surely caused by the tiger that is on the prowl. Jacob thought about just leaving her as bait for a quick moment, but he sighed and picked her up as personally he would not wanna die asleep. Slinging her over his shoulders in a fireman carry, while trudging through the pain that was still coursing both of his arms. He pushed his legs harder as the wind whooshes behind him and he saw both the thin bespectacled man and the 1.9 metre giant legging it past him.
As the vanguard of the group were reaching the exit, a worn down entrance similar to the rest of its surrounding with no doors to speak of. A rush of air blew past Jacob but this time no one shot past him. Instead a scream of pain could be heard from behind him, using that as extra motivation Jacob powered through the doorway and he found himself on a plaza where similar building are strewn around him. He looked for a way out of this clearly antagonistic city, and found it in the direction of a setting suns a forest of beautiful and resplendent blue trees sits beyond the city.
‘Suns? Why are there 3 suns hanging above, the murderous tiger wasn’t enough the stupid voice have to throw yet another element to this, I won’t even be able to survive the next hour.’
With that cheery thought, seeing the rest of the vanguard running in the direction of the suns too Jacob began moving his throbbing legs anew. Ignoring the screams and crunches happening probably just a few tens of metres behind him. Thankfully the tiger was not as interested in chasing running prey compared to a disabled ready to consume screaming meat-sac. As the group raced towards the forest sticking to the sides of the wide open street, another scream rang through the plaza. Jacob swiveled his head towards the sound and saw a stone hand holding a flailing women in her late 20s or so with auburn locks screaming her heart out as the hand was tightening around her. Only the hand can be seen coming out of a wall on the side of the street that they are running on it seems the range of the hand covers about a quarter of the street, the rest of the group immediately filed in to the center of the street clearly avoiding both sides for fear of more stone hands grabbing them too. Without the cover of shadows and the walls the group fearfully made their way out of the city hoping that was the end of the horrors that this city had in store for them. During the run, Jacob observed that there are screams happening throughout the city. It would seem that their group are not the only ones teleported in to this hell scape there has to be a reason for dropping them in and he was determined to find out the reason.

Jacob and the group managed to reach the outskirts of the city after a 10 minute or so dead sprint, all of them heaving dry air and 2 of them heaving out the contents of the stomach. Filling the air with gastric acid and whatever foul smelling additions that reeks like multiple pairs of 7 day unwashed socks. Jacob spoke out to the remaining 4 not including the red haired women whilst his fingers pointed towards the red haired beauty on the patch of grass still sleeping.
“Can anybody help me carry this one with you guys to the forest, I’ll look around for others like us.”
“How about you finish what you started and carry her yourself, you wanna go play hero do it in your own time.” Finishing his reply the 1.9 metre brute walked off towards the forest. Another survivor, with messy ocean blue hair slightly shorter than the brute with a svelte figure that did not get to speak beforehand moved towards the sleeping beauty whilst replying.
“I can carry her for you the more people that survive now the higher our chances of getting through the week, hope to see you soon little boy. It was nice of you to bring her with you.”
‘I’m not little, I stand at a proud 1.65 metres. You the little boy’ Jacob grumbled as he forced a smile and said his thanks. Jacob was not planning on saving anyone, that was just an excuse to separate from the group and go back to look around the city. Where there is danger, there will also be treasure. He can use the survivors if there are any to distract the tiger and whatever may lurk in this city. Jacob waved goodbye to the group and moved a distance away, making sure there is no one around took a bunch of dirt on the floor and rubbed it all over his body and tussled a few into his hair too and moved towards the inner area of the city.
Jacob made his way through the city avoiding the areas where screams can be heard and sticking to the middle of the road as best as he could, trying to look for signs of the stone hands but which ever wall he looked at it all seems to all be normal worn down stone walls. After exploring the city for awhile Jacob saw a landmark of sorts a chapel standing out amongst the empty stone building. It had smooth walls, a set of ornate doors. With a relief of a male deity of some sorts hanging above the doors carved in, it had intricately carved musculature the veins looked as if it was pulsing even as Jacob looked at it. Its bare chest was covered with a tattoo of a strange bird with 4 wings and 6 legs. Jacob moved towards the door and pushed open the left door praying that the sound will not draw the tiger or whatever else over.
As the door opened up, Jacob saw a pristine statue identical to the relief seen outside sitting on the far end of the chapel. There were pillars all rising up to the ceiling along the walls, the chapel was devoid of anything else only the structure and the deity as if nothing else is fit to be in the presence of the deity.
