The pain was unbearable for Nema, and it was hard for her to talk, but still, her mind was racing to find out what happened to her husband. The doctor didn't give her any information, which made her worry more.
She tried to remember what happened to but her mid could re collect the full memory did she pass out or some thing happened to her that made her loose conscious. In a faded memory or in something that looks like a night mare, or some kind of a dream, she thinks she saw two men came into her room while she was on the phone with 911, but the memory couldn't help her. The strange thing is that why can't she move her body. Is that really the effect of the coma, as the doctor says?
The pain was getting stronger and stronger and she was on the verge of screaming from the pain when the nurse came into the room with a needle in her hand without a word or even looking at her. She said to the nurse, "This is for the pain, and the doctor will come see you in a while." With a faint voice and weakness, she asked the nurse to please tell me about my husband. Is he OK? Is he here? With the same attitude, the nurse said, "The doctor will come to see you in a while." Her heart sank deep, and the tears filled her eyes. "Is he dead?" "Please tell me," she asked the nurse. With a quick glance, the nurse shook her head and started leaving the room.
Profusely, the tears fall from her eyes. She has no doubt in her mind that her husband is dead. It didn't take long for the doctor to come in, and with what appeared to be a smile, he asked, "How are you feeling now?" She asked, "Is my husband dead?" He said, "I don’t know, really, but I don’t think so."
What happened? Is he OK then?
We have no idea.
Is he here? Is he injured? She asked without waiting for his answer.
He is missing and the police are looking for him. Don’t worry, as soon as I get any news, I will definitely tell you, but now you need to rest.
"Can you tell me what happened? Doctor I can’t remember anything".
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Once you get good rest and the medicine takes effect, your memory will come back to you. Don’t worry" "are the two men in our house caught?".
"All I know is that you were brought here by ambulance alone and severely injured".
"How long have I been in the coma, doctor?" "You were very lucky for three days only. No more questions. You need to take a rest. I will come and check on you later on". Then he left the room like he was in a hurry and didn’t want to answer any more questions. She started feeling less pain now since the nurse gave her the injection, but still couldn't move like she had been glued to the bed. She stared thinking she had been in a coma for three days and no one came to see her. Where was her family? Her mother would have been standing by the door right now, or no one told her so far. That is strange. She would know. Someone must have told her, the police, the neighbors, and she would have been here by now.
She closed her eyes and the vision of the attack came straight to her mind, but now a little bit clearer than before. The screaming she heard coming down the stairs from her husband was the last sound of him that she heard and sounded like an angry scream, not with pain. There was something else, some other sound at the same time, but the other sound was not his and she could not make out what it was.
The two men came into her bed room. They came for her but she lost consciousness before they reached her and felt a hard pain over her head. Was there something else in the room or did she hit her head on something in the room? I couldn't figure it out.
What is going on? What do you want from me? "he asked the man in front of him. It had been almost eight hours since they took him from his house unconscious, and he woke up in a room with dim light and nothing in the room except for two chairs. "What did you do to my wife?" he asked again, and still there was no answer. The man was just staring at him for almost twenty minutes, just looking saying nothing. This made him think and think. Still, he didn't reach any conclusion. The only thing that mattered to him was to know is his wife is ok.
