It's been a few weeks since their arrival. Emma didn't reveal to anyone that she had her memory and was given the names Amran and Isamu Young. Although he didn't remember anything, according to the fragments of the memory that he had been having, they were both from Earth. He had no idea what had happened to him before he arrived in the jungle. The biggest issue at the beginning was the language, and that has been solved by both of them agreeing to have the AI chip implanted on both of them.
Azmar was not satisfied with his situation. Being helpless bothered him a lot, but he didn't know what to do. Though he didn't miss anything from his previous life on earth, how could he miss something that he couldn't even remember? So he had to try and adapt to this life and figure out who was behind bringing him and this little girl to this world, and what is the reason behind it was. He didn't show the turmoil he was feeling to anyone, and hid it well inside him, especially from Amran. He didn't want to upset this little girl any more than she is now.
Despite the fact that she didn't show anything and tried to put on a brave face all the time, he could imagine what she was going through because he was going through the same thing himself, and he took it upon himself to be the guardian of this little girl, and help her as much as he could, until they finally found a way to keep their word.
Everyone around them was very curious and wanted to know everything about them, but at the same time, they were very cautious about them. Detective Young was the first one that the chip was implanted in, and when the AI confirmed that he had no memory, everyone didn't bother to confirm if the young girl remembered anything, and everyone believed her that she also had no memory. That really helped Emma, who is now given the name Amran.
Since detective Young also couldn't remember his name, he had been given the name Azmar. There was nothing much to do in the village for both of them except to learn everything possible that they could about this world, the five continents of this planet, their inhabitants, their culture, and their technology. Amran, with her little knowledge that she didn't share with anybody, knew so far that her brother was on one of these continents. She was also sure that he didn't remember anything, simply like her companion Azmar.
With the alterations she witnessed that had been done to him, she was wondering how he was living now and where he was. She had the urge to go and look for him. Although she doesn't know where to start, she had the feeling that he was okay at the moment. She didn't know the dangers in this world, but still believed deep down that her brother was capable of taking care of himself. That is what she convinced herself of, and she decided to take the first chance that came to her and go and look for him and find out who is responsible for bringing them here and why.
It was early morning when a young man came to their house and informed them that their presence was required at the chief's house. Amran had a feeling that something was happening because it was not usual thing to be called this early in the morning. For no apparent reason, she felt that everything was going to change today.
At the cheif's house, there were a few men sitting already, and waiting for their arrival. The issue they were discussing was in fact concerning the two aliens living in their village. The chief had already reported their arrival to the capital, in the secret channel that went directly to the king, and last night he received an order to send them both to the capital, and to provide them with the necessary security. Although he was wondering why it took that long for them to respond, he still had to comply. That was not an issue, but the order contained a travel route and also a duration for travel.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
They could have used a portal to travel through or traveled through the air, which will take a few hours, but this route will take a minimum of two weeks to travel on the road. Why? In this day and age, nobody travels by road, so why did the king give that order? That was what they were discussing in this meeting. Before the two aliens arrived, no one was able to come up with a reasonable answer, or even guess what was going on. At the end, they only had to decide who would go with them and how many they should send.
Keeping the whole thing secret also depends on how many people they send; if there are too many, suspicion will be raised, and if there are too few, the safety of the two aliens will be jeopardized. This shows that there is something suspicious about the whole thing, but whatever they can do is very limited in any case, so the discussion becomes very limited with only two people with them.
A young man and a little girl, "Isn't it better to send them through the portal?" Why did the king order for them to travel by the road "Without even a vehicle? " Asked mybe for the third time by the captain of the patrol unit of the village, "There is no need to figure out something we don't have an answer for," answered the chief, "Whom did you decide to send with them?" He asked again the captain, "You know how dangerous it is in the jungle, so I decided to go myself and I will take Raco with me." Answering the caption, the deputy chief said, "Ayman, you yourself just mentioned it, and you know how dangerous the jungle is at this time of the year, especially, so why are you putting yourself in this situation?"
Ayman knew the risks he was taking. He shook his head and said, " What else should I do?" I can't jeopardize anyone else's safety or life; I can only do it for myself, and Raco is the only one who volunteered." Everyone remained silent after what Ayman said; they had been discussing this issue for nearly an hour, and they couldn't figure out what was going on until they heard a knock on the door, announcing the arrival of the two aliens.
..............................
Nothing can prepare anybody to witness the doomsday, the disaster, the deaths, the blood running like a river, on the streets, the terror with all of its meaning, standing in the middle of the road, watching the men around him daying, some of the are burning, the children crying, the women wheeling, the buildings falling down, and burning, watching all that while he is standing in the same location, he can't help anyone, he can't do any thing.
The night was so dark, and the moon was clear at the sky, full moon that was with enough light to show everything that happening around him, Julian was watching all that terrible things, happening everywhere around him, incapable of helping or changing anything, like an incompetent person, he was just watching, everything went crazy around him, and looked up at the sky and wide full moon, and the the only he was thinking of was, the full and crazines, that caused the people around him to become lunatic.
But was it really only moon craziness, or lunacy, what was going around him, or the whole city is been invaded by an alien, lunatic aliens, who doesn't differentiate between a child or a woman or a man, these creatures before him, and this scene in front of him this was not the first time he was seeing it, and sure it will not be the last time also, this not real and it's not a dream either, Julian has been seeing this what ever it is for 10 days continuously, while he is a wake, and while he is sleeping.
The same vision over and over, until he memorized it all, he can even predict each action, precisely when it will happen, and whenever her tried to intervene, the vision stops. And again he start seiig all over again from the beginning, and that is what mostly making him sick of it.
