*Jadan
I groan as I wake up, feeling sore all over. The night is still dark, but I can't sense Jada or our meister nearby. I force my eyes open and see Jada curled up in a bed across the room. That's not right. Jada likes to sleep close enough for our souls to touch each other. I drag myself out of bed and limp over to her side, almost tripping over a desk on the way. My left arm is wrapped in bandages and I barely catch myself from falling. I slide under the sheets and scoot back until I feel Jada's knees against my back. I have to sleep facing away from her because she says I poke her in my sleep. I tried sleeping with my hands holding Brox, my toy box, but it didn't help.
Speaking of Brox, I look around the room and see a crow staring at me from the desk. Next to it is our bag with our stuff scattered on the table. Jada must have been looking for something.
"Mr. Crow, can you please hand me Brox?" I ask.
The crow tilts its head and flies to a dresser, ignoring me. I remember Jada telling me that not all animals can turn into fake witches or are witches in disguise. I stretch out without leaving the bed and grab Brox. I feel Jada relax behind me as I hug the blue metal box. It's small enough to fit in one hand and my thumbs rub over the dull edge as I breathe slowly. As I drift off to sleep, I see the crow land on the desk again, eyeing the jars in our bag. I once tried to feed my pet rock Brock some kenshin eggs, but Jada explained that only demon weapons and kenshin can eat them.

"Good night, Mr. Crow, night Jada, night Brox," I mumble before falling asleep again.
*Qrow
I pull out a pouch from the bag and open it, finding two unfamiliar identification cards.
Deaths Academy student Jada, demon weapon class 1A junior.
Deaths Academy student Jadan, demon weapon class 4D junior.
I take out my scroll and snap a picture to send to Oz, forgetting to turn off the shutter sound. Jadan wakes up and I turn into a crow and perch on the desk. He stumbles over to the bed with his sister and we lock eyes. I pretend not to care and fly over to the dresser. After a minute, I go back to the desk and act like I don't hear him talking to me. When he's asleep, I look back into the bag at the jars. There are ten jars filled with floating orbs, eight of them are black with red veins. Yang said that when the kids used their semblance to turn into gauntlets, the Grimm turned into a floating orb when she killed it with them. Two of them are different though, they have the kids' names written on them and they barely fit in the jars.
I turn off the shutter sound and the flash this time and take another picture. I don't know what these are, but I grab an empty jar from the bag and pack it up. I walk out of the room, hearing Ruby trying to calm down her sister. Yang was shaken up, but she'll be stronger for this. She took out a Grimm that would make most teams hesitate. I head to the crater and open the jar, carefully placing the floating orb inside without touching it. I text Taiyang and turn into a crow, flying towards Beacon. Maybe Oz can explain this.
