I sneak a peek through the window, ready to expose Ruby's secret training. I have my scroll in hand, set to record her performance.
"Come on, Ruby, you have to put more oomph into it! If you want to be like the legendary Maka, you have to swing your scythe with style and act cool!" Jada says, gesturing wildly.
"She defeated an evil god and sliced the moon!" Jadan adds.
"But Crescent Rose is not a demon or a death weapon," Ruby protests, hugging her scythe.
Jada puffs up her chest and points at Crescent Rose. "Ruby, as a demon weapon myself, I can sense that Crescent Rose would want you to have confidence in yourself!"
"Ruby can be just like Maka!" Jadan agrees.
I duck down as Ruby scans the area for any witnesses. I hear her whisper loudly, "OK, I'm ready. Let's do this!"
I press the record button and look back out the window to enjoy the show.
Jada and Jadan roll into view, stopping on one knee with their heads bowed. Ruby appears behind them, leaving a trail of rose petals. She points Crescent Rose at an imaginary foe.
"Villains!" she shouts as Jadan's hands flash and turn into metal. He stands up and strikes a pose with his arms forming a giant C.
"Monsters!" Jadan yells with more enthusiasm than Ruby. Ruby pulls back her scythe and straightens her posture, as Jada mimics Jadan's pose. "Criminals!" she yells with equal gusto. Ruby steps forward and spins her scythe so fast that it kicks up leaves and dust. With practiced skill, she flicks the scythe to her side in a fighting stance as Jada and Jadan scream

"BEWARE!"
I squeal and cover my mouth to stifle the sound. Ruby's face turns from red to white when she sees my scroll clearly recording.
"No, Yang! Delete that!"
I quickly send the video to my email and run to dad to show him the footage.

I check my bags one last time and pick up Ember Celica. I hesitate for a moment, then put it in as well. I walk into the living room and see dad hugging the twins. They have been with us for five weeks, ever since I found them in the woods. They have become part of our family.
Dad is crying and the twins are sobbing as they promise to call him every night on their scrolls. I clear my throat and dad looks at me. He opens his arms to hug me too, but I slap his hand and lower my shades with a smirk.
"Sorry, dad, I don't want you to ruin my hair. I just styled it." I say, spinning my bike helmet in my hand. I throw the bag to Jadan and check out their outfits. Jada had the idea to match our colors and styles, so we all look like a team. I convinced them to get some of their own clothes too, just in case they wanted to do something different.
I walk out to Bumblebee and eye the new sidecar that was added to it. After giving them both a ride, Jada and I agreed that Jadan needed his own seat. With Jada on my back or on my arm, we can all travel in style now. I smile as I see dad giving the twins one more hug. Even Rubes is getting emotional, even though she will be in Vale in two days to meet up and buy dust.
"Be careful, sunny little dragon. Protect your brother and sister. Don't let anyone scam them out of their money." Dad says.
I wrap my legs around Bumblebee and start the engine.
"Don't worry they'll have protection got to keep your dad jokes from being grandad jokes" I laugh as I drive away with the twins.
"Yang!" Dad and Ruby shout at my awesome pun.
"Hey, dad..." Jada says softly. I nod.
"Yeah, he's our dad." I say, waiting for her to continue.
"He said we can visit him on breaks. I know we have to be huntsman heroes and make a name for ourselves. And breaks are a good time to do bounties or catch criminals. But I think it's also important to keep dad company, so he doesn't get lonely or attract Grimm." She says, giving me more cute reasons to visit home. My heart melts a little.
"That sounds like a plan." I say.
"Junior." Jadan says over the wind.
"Yeah that's the plan, we're going to see Junior for some info." I yell back to him. He nods and plays with the wind with his hand. I look at the long empty road ahead and speed up. I finally have a lead on where to find my mom.
