Scepticus wanted to sit down after a while. His body was still tired from the battle just now. Scepticus sat down against the wall and rested for a while. Before he knew it, he was out like a log.
Scepticus had a dream while he was asleep. There was blood trickling down his forehead. And that woman, Amelia, - who claims to be his mother - was carrying Scepticus in her arms with a worried look on her face. “Maya, go and get a towel” she said in a voice which sounded composed, although it was pretty obvious that she was extremely worried.
Amelia then took the towel and started wiping Scepticus’s head. After a while the bleeding had stopped. Amelia kept looking worried. “Injuries in the head are no joke… What am I going to do? What am I going to do?” She kept complaining.
After that Scepticus woke up. “What a weird dream…. Well the memories of this body must slowly be being transferred to my soul, so seeing dreams like that will probably be a common occurrence from here on out” Scepticus said.
Scepticus then looked at the remaining auras and saw that there were 8 left. “8 more enemies left i guess..” said Scepticus. After waking up, Scepticus had felt a rush of energy flowing in him and now it was as if he had never been tired at all.
Scepticus took the black card from earlier. “It turned on when blood touched it,” said Scepticus. Scepticus then scratched his finger on a rock and then pressed his finger. A drop of blood came out. The screen then lit up and revealed the stats.

“This time the stats are different. They’re Strength: 55, Stamina: 55, Health: 40, Agility: 35 and Magic: 50” stated Scepticus. “All of the stats increased by 5 apart from agility and magic. My magic probably increased more because I used Hell’s Pyre and my Agility didn’t increase because I didn't use my speed too much” noted Scepticus.
Scepticus then wiped the screen and the card turned off. Scepticus walked forward and noticed a shortsword on the ground. “Although I prefer bigger swords, this will have to do for now,” said Scepticus. Scepticus noticed three of the auras getting closer until one pounced at him.
“Sword Style: Sword Piercer” Scepticus chanted.
As soon as Scepticus had finished chanting, a strong lance of pressurized wind was whirling around the tip of his sword. “Release” said Scepticus. It was launched at the zombie and all that was left of the zombie were its arms, legs and head. The zombie fell down in a mess.
Another zombie started charging at Scepticus. This zombie had two bodies that were joined together by stitches. Scepticus readied his sword and began to chant.
“Sword Style: Flash” Scepticus chanted.
The heads of the two zombies rolled down to the floor as Scepticus appeared behind them. “The zombies are pretty weak I must say…” said Scepticus. The skill Scepticus just used made him blink so fast that the enemies couldn't even notice if they were decapitated after being hit.
Scepticus said “Although I don’t want the next battle to be a challenge…. I don’t want it to be too easy either because that’s just too boring” complained Scepticus. “Maybe we’ll see something different because I have just about had it with these zombies”.
