“Find him. The person who attacked this place. FOR THE JUSTICE OF THE EMPIRE!” Scepticus heard as a bunch of men yelled out in embrace. Scepticus then heard horses galloping as all the sound around him disappeared. Scepticus then got up and stretched his body as he started to feel the drowsiness disappear from his body. Scepticus then walked behind a tree and peaked around it, observing the people who had awoken him. They were a bunch of cavalry-men as well as a man who was wearing a noble-like outfit. He had long yellow hair then stopped just at his waist and blue eyes which almost seemed to speak compassion to Scepticus. He then sent the cavalry men to split up as they began searching in all directions in the forest. “Remember! He couldn’t have gotten far since he fought Adder. He’s also probably very exhausted and too tired to fight back,” he said.
“Too tired to fight back?.... Well that hurts my ego quite a bit,” Scepticus said as he broke his finger which immediately reverted back to its original condition. He then grabbed a stick and hurled it at one of the cavalry men as it hit him straight through the eye killing him instantly with almost no sound. Another cavalry man walked by and saw his comrade dead. But before he could make a sound his head was sliced off splattering blood everywhere. Scepticus then dragged their bodies into a bush nearby to hide the evidence. Then he went behind a tree and then grabbed the soul of the man with the goatte from behind him. “Hehe…” Scepticus giggled slightly. “So what are you going to do?” the man in the goatee asked, slightly surprised that he could see himself again. “I don’t know… I might play with you a little,” Scepticus said as he lit the man with the goatee’s soul on fire. “Don’t worry. You won’t die from this,” Scepticus said whilst noticing that the man with the goatee hadn’t even moved from his cross-legged position.
“Huh?” Scepticus said whilst looking at the man in the goatee’s soul. “Ok nevermind that,” he said whilst snapping his fingers removing the fire. “Who are you again?”. “Adder Asier. Probably your father,” he said. “What do you mean probably?” Scepticus asked back. “Well let’s just say that Amelia isn’t the type of woman to fall in love with someone. I just raped her and you were probably an outcome of that,” Adder said. “What? You raped her? No wonder she never talked about my father. Secondly, how are you related to Amelia, apart from the fact that you raped her?” Scepticus questioned Adder. “Apparently she’s my niece? I’m not too sure since someone told me this and I had cut ties from the family for a while before it happened,”. “Hmm… Interesting. Although my mother’s suffering has nothing to do with my soul… It does have something to do with this body’s original owner so I’ll play with you later,” Scepticus said before punching a guard who had snuck up behind him, exploding his head. “These annoying bastards…” Scepticus muttered to himself.

Before long a couple of hours had passed and Scepticus was yet to be found. The guards had all gathered inside the ruins of what was Mortuus Flumen and lit a campfire, looking content. All the cavalry-men were drinking beer whilst hitting their wooden mugs of beer with each other whilst yelling out, “CHEERS! To capturing the one who insulted the KINGDOM,”. “Huh?” Scepticus said confused before quickly realising what was going on. “So they found Asmodeus’ carrier huh?” he said as he began to quickly scan the camp before gaining an approximation on Celaine’s position. She was tied up and hidden behind a bunch of boxes which Scepticus managed to see through due to ‘Aura Detection’. Scepticus then grabbed his black card. Since the soldiers didn’t look like they were doing anything productive, Scepticus decided that now might be a decent time to check his stats. Strength: 290, Stamina: 250, Health: 250, Agility: 230 and Magic: 350.
“Ooh… Looks like fighting a bunch of strong people is good for my stats. That was a major increase compared to when I tried to train by myself,” he said before moving to the skill’s section. “Finally I gained the amazing skill which I never did in my past life since there was no trigger. Thought acceleration. For three seconds within my own mind my mind thinks 2,000,000,000,000,000,000(2 quintillion) times faster. And ‘Blitz’ the skill which pairs up with it very well. It allows me to hit the speed of light for 0.000016678207986593 seconds. Confusing numbers but who cares?” he said. Suddenly taking a glance towards Celaine once again. Her aura was no longer behind the boxes. “Well play time’s over I guess,” Scepticus said as he leaped into the air causing the ground beneath him to break and cave in revealing a cave to be underneath. Scepticus had to do this since he was a couple of hundred metres away from the camp and needed to travel fast.
The prince heard a loud boom as a bunch of rocks fell on each other. The prince then ordered some of his ment to check it out. “Great. Looks like my plan is working,” Scepticus thought to himself just before he landed and destroyed a good 20 metres of where he had landed causing another loud boom to which the prince was finding a bit weird now. He sent out more of his men whilst keeping a good portion of them to stay with him. Scepticus had quickly ran about 100 metres towards the camp and then saw a purple gem which was attached to a necklace on the prince, glowing. “SHIT,” he yelled out as loud as humanly possible, “EVERYONE BACK TO CAMP!! THERE’S A DEMON SOMEWHERE HEAR!!” he said. To this Scepticus was a bit alarmed. How did he figure out that there was a demon, when suddenly he heard screams appear from behind him as he saw a frog demon chasing down the cavalry men away from where he had landed, ultimately giving away his position.
