We went up the stairs. Suddenly, he turned toward the stairs to the third floor. I stopped.
"Aki? I'm not allowed to go there but."I said, almost soundlessly.”
"Don't worry, you're allowed to now."He turned his head and smiled over his shoulder and moved on.
I quickly caught up with Aki. Well, not much of a corridor. Old broken walls. Paintings of landscapes hung on the wall. They looked too beautiful, like it wasn't ever from our world. At the end was a black door with a golden ball. We waited for nothing and stepped inside.
The boys were sitting normally in their chairs. Behind them were portraits. I didn't recognize any of them. There was a sign burned into the wall in the middle. They were four cross-shaped ripples bounded by a circle. Then, as I learned in the future, it is a hallmark of the Naruno genus.
"Iruka, sit down." Natsu said. We sat in a wheelbarrow and waited to see who would start first. Haru took the floor.
"Then, Iruka, listen. Let's not drag this out any longer. There are things here on Earth that are mere fairy tales or myths, but not in the other worlds. So... I'm sure you learned in school that the universe is infinite with lots of planets. What they don't teach you is that they don't have so-called aliens living on them, but different beings that you're more familiar with in fantasy. And these beings can travel between planets. "Aki took the floor.
"Imagine it's like some fantasy game where you can travel to different places using a portal. So that's the way it is. These beings can summon a so-called gateway. To show you the gate, you need the keys. These gates and keys were founded by the founders of the universe, the Titans. It's not quite what scientists on Earth have been explaining for centuries. No bang just happened. It was through magic. The magic of titan has given life to thousands of planets, or whatever we call them worlds. The Titans forged original keys to each world, too, and showed how to copy them so-called.”
"Even here in the world, are there people who own a key?"I asked.
"No. Once upon a time, the country lost its keyholders, who created the keys to the portal. For some reason, the People of Earth have done something that has left them at the mercy of exile."Fyuy replied.
Aki nodded and continued.
"As you do here on Earth, you have a government. That's how it works in space, but they're called Councils. It's a complicated system because hopefully everything has some advice that you're answering to. A council of worlds, a council of a separate world, a council of different kinds of beings or crafts, and so on. "
"And these Titans can't help returning Earth to the Council?"

"The Titans are long gone. After they taught the key-bearers their art. They send off and no one knows where.”
"Oh. And who are you? You're vampires, aren't you? Are you the same as they say on Earth? Are you like Dracula?"
"It's complicated. We're different from the others.. The thing about vampires is we can die. However, there is a substance in the air on Earth that strengthens our bodies and makes us virtually immortal here. We call it netrix. We are essentially immortals here on Earth. Our regeneration in the other worlds works, but more slowly and not for all injuries. Our speed and power is what they say, but when it comes to garlic and silver, they're just stories."
“All right... I still get that, but what do you eat? You only eat animal blood, don't you?"
Natsu burst out laughing. The others chuckled, too. That's gross. I don't know anything about them, and they're like this. bastard
"Animals? Hahaha... Of course we eat people's blood."Natsu smiled, and his teeth sharpened ever so slightly. I shuddered a little.
"Don't worry. We're taking packages from the hospital. We don't hurt people. Unless there are bad people like murderers, criminals, etc.”
"Ugh. I was startled."And I smiled again.
"How come you're different?"I haven't forgiven myself for the question.
They gnawed at me from the very beginning. Everyone fell silent and looked down at the ground. Their faces paled. Only Fuyu found the courage to tell me.
"We're not purebred vampires. Our father was a vampire and our mother a magician. Once, wizards fought a war with vampires. Vampires didn't enact the laws of wizards for centuries, until war broke out. My mother was a member of the council of magicians. She believed we shouldn't handle this with violence. She was a naive pacifist."He smirked and went on:
"She met a young man she fell in love with once. What she didn't know was that it was a vampire. When she found out, she was expecting me. But she still loved him, and decided to stay with him. Unfortunately, even though we lived undercover and cut off from the world when Aki was born, someone turned us in. The father was burned and the mother expelled. The council took it hard that a council member fell in love with a vampire. But thanks to their love, the war is over, and now for more than 1,000 years our world has lived in relative peace. We've been driven here, to Earth. We've inherited some of her powers. Unfortunately, she couldn't live on Earth, her magic, which was entwined with her life, couldn't handle human conditions. Her strength came from nature itself, which gradually began to leave here. After her death we went for a while, each traveling on his own, but then together we returned to Taiyō. Which is a neutral world, one of the few in the universe. They trained as hunters, and now we hunt down defectors who do damage here. Not everyone wants to be nice. I loathe any Council, but without them, the universe would be in chaos."
His cold eyes stopped watching me and pointed at the portrait.
There was a young woman in a blue and blue dress. Her golden hair fell around her round face and ended up on her breasts. They were shiny and slightly wavy. There was a silver tiara in her hair and a kind of malachite or emerald in the middle. Her skin was as white as snow. Except for two pink-tinted cheeks. A beautiful smile played on her face. Her white teeth were capped with red lipstick that matched her dark brown eyes perfectly. There was joy, tenderness, love and goodness in the picture.
"What was her name?"I thoughtlessly asked.
"Gaia." Aki replied.”
"I'm sorry."
"It's been a long time. You know everything now, so you can go about your business."He hissed grumpily at Fyu and disappeared.
"I'm sorry about him." Haru apologized.
"That's good. I get them just like that."I smiled.
