Those two days have gone by like water. I have the most important exams in my life in two hours. I hope the boys get more wind of it than I do. I mean, not Fuyu, of course, but the others well I had to leave them at home and walk to school by myself, because perhaps I'd be even more nervous than I am now. I stood in front of the building. I tilted my head back and stared at the bungalow. How is it so giant on the inside and so small and ordinary on the outside? My mind began to fill with thoughts. What if I don't make it now? I'll disappoint the boys. I don't want to let anyone down.. What if I'm not prepared enough. Maybe I'm not a magician. Maybe the woman was wrong.
"Irukooo!" Someone called to me from a far away, and in doing so jolted me out of my mind. I turn my head, and in the distance I see a blonde squid running.
"Kenji!"I exclaim, and my lips spread wide into a smile.
"Well? Are you nervous too?"He asked when he reached me.
"Truthfully? I am goosey as hell."And I started laughing, and Kenji joined in.
"Then at least I'm not the only one who feels that way."Kenji said.
"I think that's how everyone's going to be."
"Yeah, right. "We both paused for a moment.
"Let's go, then?"He said carefully, Kenji.
I took a deep breath and exhaled and said: "Here we go.”
We climbed into the building. Well, neither of us knew which way, but fortunately there were signposts that got us to the right class. We reached a class that was half full. The benches were in three rows and only for one. I sat in the fourth pew and Kenji was behind me. We talked and repeated for a while longer.
Then it rang and my heart stopped at that moment. After a while, an elderly gentleman and some young men came into the classroom. The boys went to either the walls or the window. Afterwards, we learned that they were security guards. The old man measured and scanned us with his eyes. Then he threw the papers in the air and they came down on each of us on the bench.
"So I'm your number one examiner. In these trials, it's about answering the right questions and demonstrating your basic knowledge. The men around the perimeter of the class room will be watching to make sure you don't cheat. Whoever cheats will be excluded from the exam and won't be able to come for another three years. So there's no time to waste. Start working. You have an hour."

I quickly turned over the paper and began to read through the questions.
•••••••••••••••••••••••
I dropped my pencil and wiped my sweat when the teacher told us to quit. It's taken a lot for me, but I've got everything. The papers went straight back to the teacher like dutiful sheep. I turned to Kenji. He was lying on the bench, finished. I smiled a little and turned back.
"You have an hour off now. Then we'll call you. See you later."The old man smiled and left, and the other young men with him. The other "classmates" left, too, and we were left alone.
"Kenji, get up."
"I blew it, buddy."He muttered into the board.
"Oh, no come oon. That's not true."
"Oh, yes, I've got a lot wrong there." I get up and give Kenji a big hug.
"Trust me. All will be well."I whispered in his ear and you sat back down. Kenji finally raised his head and smiled.
We began to discuss the questions, and after a while the class began to fill up again. Again the old man returned after an hour, as he put it, but no longer accompanied. He didn't have a stack of papers in his hand anymore. They were rolled-up diplomas.
"Let's not drag it out. Whoever lands a degree on the bench has passed. And before you go, I have important information for you. These diplomas are merely confirmations that you have passed the wizards' basic test. The next test will be a year from that day. Your task will be to find as many useful spells as possible, which you will then apply in the next test. The best way to do that is to find the masters to train you. My advice to you is to choose your masters very well and don't underestimate your preparation. What lies ahead will determine whether you become esteemed magicians or not. I wish you the best of luck."
And he disappeared. Diplomas began circling the room after his disappearance, circling like birds in the sky. It was beautiful.
"I love magic."I whispered enthusiastically.
Suddenly they stopped and fell. I couldn't believe it. The diploma fell on my desk!! I turned to Kenji with glee. He sat frozen and stared at his bench. He was there, too. My smile widened further. Kenji finally took his eyes off her. We screamed solemnly and began to embrace. Just an indescribable joy. When we finally calmed down, we started out.
"So who do you want to go to?"I asked him as we walked down the stairs.
"I'd like to find the Naruno brothers and talk them into teaching me. I have heard that they are wonderful and excellent magicians, despite the fact that they are of mixed origin in many worlds, their name has great glory. I just don't know what they look like or where they might be. What about you?"
My chin dropped to the ground after his words. Oh, what a joke. I wanted to say something, but another voice beat me to it.
"I see you did it."Hooted Natsu. I smiled and turned to Kenji.
"These are my masters. Kenji I want you to meet the Naruna brothers."
Kenji gave everyone an enthusiastic look. I just smiled beatifically and watched a beaming Kenji.
