Time passes like water, and autumn has come. Autumn in the forest villa was like a fairy tale. Colorful trees, golden-brown grass, a cool gloomy misty morning, yet beautiful. Just fall as it should be. But how did Iruka and Kenji fare in their ability discovery? Are they ready to use them in practice?
I was sitting on the roof of my perfect home. I was looking at this beautiful forest. He didn't seem as depressed here as I'd had him fixed for years. He was different here. He was cheerful, enigmatic, calm, colourful and so strange. It was like watching Mother Nature paint her masterpiece and the sun punctuate the whole thing with its glittering rays. It's a magical sight. A cool breeze from the north brushed my cheeks. I shuddered a little. I was wearing nothing but a hoodie and sweatpants that didn't match the temperature of an autumn evening.
"You want a cold in here?" I turned to Kenji with a smile. He smiled and sat beside me.
"I'm fine here."I answered after a while.
"I'm not surprised. It's such a beautiful view."
"Yeah. It's like...."I looked for the right words to describe it, but Kenji beat me to it.
,,Aki..."He whispered to the wind.
I turned to him, astonished. But he did not notice my expression. He was staring ahead, probably thinking. A beatific smile played on his face, and his eyes sparkled strangely with happiness.
What do you think he's thinking? I took the moment to read his mind. It's the only ability I haven't mastered. I can't even stop them or control a person with it. I don't know any of it. I can move things, but in terms of the human mind and all that goes with it, I can't do anything. I closed my eyes and concentrated. Unfortunately, it came what it always did... Nothing but the emptiness in my head and the blackness in front of me. I opened my eyes in defeat. Kenji was aware of the present again, looking at me with a worried look.
"Don't worry, you'll learn someday."He smiled and tousled my hair. I just frowned a little and looked at the woods again.
"Kenji? Are you dating Aki?"I whispered.
Kenji froze. He stared ahead and said nothing. I just checked his reaction with my eye. Afterwards, we were both silent. The wind started to pick up a little. He combed our hair and stroked our face with cool fingers. The leaves swayed like dancers in the wind, creating a kind of river that flows through the trees.
"Yes."He whispered softly, but I could still hear it.
"Get over here quick, everybody!!" Natsu yelled. Kenji quickly got up and headed for the window, which is the only exit from here.
"I'm so glad you're together."I spoke to Kenji.
"Thanks, Iruka." We both smiled at each other and went downstairs.
Everyone was already down. We sat on the seat and waited for Natsu to drop out.
"A band of goblins is hiding on the north side of the forest. I'd destroy them myself, but they're wetland goblins." Everyone but me held their breath.
Huh? Huh? Someone will explain it to me. I turned my head in all directions, waiting for an explanation. Nothing. God, why do I have to ask?
"Who are the wetland goblins?"
"Sort of the tallest of the goblins. It's their kind of royalty. They are known for their skill in handling weapons well. They don't conjure, but their shields and weapons can be resistant to some spells."Aki explained.
As always, he explained everything perfectly to me. He was just supposed to be some professor and not a hunter. And he smiled inwardly at the thought.
"So it will be. We're all going to see them this time. We don't know exactly how many they are or how fit they are."He ordered Fuya.
"Yeah, let's go get them."I screamed with delight. It was supposed to be my first event, and I'm so excited.
"You're not going anywhere."He stabbed me through the heart of Fuya.
"Why not? I can do some magic already, and how am I supposed to prepare for rehearsals if you're not taking me anywhere?"
"Yeah! Iruka is right. We want to go too!"Kenji stood up for me. But his murderous stare did not frighten me. Not now. Because I want to go.
"Fuyu, come on. Let's need every hand." Haru spoke.
"Fine.."He resigned and went somewhere.
Haru winked at us. And we smiled back at him.
"Come on! You have to choose your weapons."Fuyu shouted at us.
We all followed them into the basement. What the hell are so many rooms for? I thought, as we walked past all these scary doors. It wasn't long before we appeared in a room full of guns. The Naruno brothers immediately went to their weapons. Haru reached for a bow of some white wood and a quiver of arrows. Fuyu had a giant silver sword in his hand. The handle was littered with sapphires and crystals. It was a nice sword. Natsu picked up what a small dagger he had made of white gold. He swung it like a ninja a couple of times, and the dagger unfurled into spears. Aki took the long pole. It looked like it was made of iron, but I'm not too sure.

"So what do you know about guns, anyway?"Fuyu asked contemptuously. He knew I couldn't handle anything like that.
Kenji beside me just smiled. He broke for the silver sword.
"Are you sure?"Aki asked, a little worried.
He took it firmly in his hand. He rolled it around in his hands a few times, then just smiled at them. "I think so."He answered triumphantly. I wanted to applaud him. Brushing guys off like that doesn't really happen.
"Well, what about you, Iruka?"Natsu turned to me.
I just hung my head. I think everybody got it. "Here."He said to Fuya. I looked up at him. He was holding a épée. It was beautiful and his blade was thin as a needle. The handle was braided with golden strands. I took it carefully from him.
"He'll be good for you. When we get back, I'll teach you about him."He whispered that last sentence in my ear and smiled at me afterwards. With red cheeks, I just nodded.
"We leave in ten minutes!"The commander ordered a sourdough and left.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
"So how many did he count, Haru?"He whispered to Fuyu as Haru returned from his tour. We're crouching here in the bushes, and I feel like my heart is about to run out.
"A dozen or so of them."
"Good. Then we won't prolong it. Let's go get them." The boys jumped out of the bushes and went straight to them. Me and Kenji went after them, stunned.
"I expected better tactics." Kenji whispered. I just nodded with a smile.
"Hello, spoof."He greeted a suspiciously cheerful Fuya. Fuyu enjoyed the hunt. It made me see another side of him.
Startled, the goblins rose to their feet and immediately regrouped together. They looked like I thought they would. Revolting from long pointed ears with grey to green colour. I just didn't imagine them that big. They're about the same height as me. I was hoping they'd be smaller.
"Who are you? What do you want?"
"Excellent question. I'll answer both of them. We are the Naruno brothers, and we have come for you." As Fuyu put it, they all drew their weapons. They're really well-known. The boys' eyes changed right away.
Natsu quickly ran after the gang and charged.
"Fireballs."But two of them noticed and put their swords over it.
“So your swords are eating my fire. nice Let's take it the old-fashioned way."He took out his lance and began to fight them.
The others didn't much care, preferring to watch the others. Two on the right were caught by branches. Haru took care of them. Aki began choking two others. I guess everybody's gonna have two. They got away with it thanks to their shield, which broke the spell. Fuyu didn't even use the spell, and immediately pounced on them.
"You will be my puppet from now on."Kenji said. Their black eyes suddenly seemed to disappear, replaced by whites. Furiously, they began swinging the sword and attacking the others. I've got the last two left. The two of them figured it out, too, and began shuffling toward me. I clenched my hands into fists. Here we go.
"Winddisks." A pair of white disks burst from my hands. hit They both went down. Unfortunately, it didn't knock them out. I didn't hesitate to continue.
"Tornado!" They were spinning in grey dust. When the tornado was steady, they were on the ground again, but after a few minutes they got up.
Scumbags. I swore to myself. They started reaching for their guns. I swung my hand, and the sword that lay there rose into the air. Aki's training doesn't seem to have gone to waste. I didn't hesitate to put a weapon through the heart of an orc without a weapon.
The other goblin, meanwhile, had seized his weapon and was already attacking the sword in my power. He swung it furiously until he managed to hurl the sword to one side.
"Arrows." Unfortunately, he fended them off.
I tried the tornado again, but it avoided. Damn it.
"Iruka, look out!"He was yelling at me, Kenji, when the goblin suddenly jumped me.
He pushed me to the ground. He smelled awful. He started strangling me immediately. I tried to get him off my chest, but he was heavy. I was starting to see black dots. That's not good. He's going to kill me like this.
"D-dragon wind."I croaked between asphyxiations.
The wind surged. It was as if a blizzard was coming. I had no idea that worse would materialize. A giant dragon rose from the air. He was almost translucent, but his blue eyes indicated that he was here. Everyone was looking at the giant creature. It's as if they weren't fighting a while ago. The dragon roared mightily. The goblin's grip suddenly loosened, petrified. He couldn't move a muscle, just stared at the creature looming over him. The dragon just looked at him and immediately snatched at him. The goblin disappeared into his mouth, as fast as someone peeling a raspberry. The dragon dissipated as my head fell heavily into the grass. Kenji quickly ran up to me.
"Are you okay? You have the dragon power? How come you never told me you had dragon power?!”
I wanted to answer him, but even I don't know what just happened here. I didn't even know this spell. I stared wearily at Kenji, searching for the right words, sadly interrupted by the head of the goblin behind Kenji.
"Kenji behind you!"I screamed. Kenji swiftly drew his sword and stabbed the goblin with it. The one with the high whistle fell at my feet.
"Then get up."He said with a smile and held out his hand.
I was happy to take it and watch the boys fight. Kenji and I had had enough, so we stayed on the sidelines and watched quietly. We took it one at a time and watched each one of them. After all, we didn't want to get in their way, hoping to learn something.
"Leaf storm!"
The colored leaves began to leave the trees, attacking the orcs. They hid behind a shield, but in doing so they made a mistake. Haru got his arrows ready, and when the storm stopped and they uncovered, he hit them square in the forehead. Both fell instantly to the ground.
"Hellfire!!"Natsu called from the opposite side.
The ground beneath the goblins began to glow slightly, and in an instant a giant flame burned them to dust. Natsu must have figured out the weakness of their fire shield. The foul smell of scorched flesh wafted through the air. I almost threw a sabre out of it. Aki was strangling the last of his rivals. I did such trivial spells and almost paid for it. I need to think carefully about what spell I choose next. I witnessed fuyu's use of his ability for the first time. I knew he had water, but I never saw him show his magic.
"A water bomb." Giant water balls began shooting out of his hands, bringing his opponent to the ground. He then got to them with vampiric speed and pierced their hearts.
I expected a little more. I don't know why, but Fuyu wants to be mysterious about his charms, too. I guess it's better. The opponent doesn't know what to expect from him. Definitely a better tactic than mine.
"Okay. We're done here."Fuyu said, wiping his sword on the clothes of the dead goblin.
•••••••••••••••••••
We didn't really talk about it at home. They definitely all wanted to ask me about the dragon, but I preferred to sneak off to my room. I don't know what to say to them. We're pretty dumb about it ourselves. I sat on the bed and stared at my palms.
How did I do that? What kind of power is that? I could tell from Kenji's reaction that it was probably not usual.
But I don't want to be special. I want to be a normal average magician. You'll never be that.
"Who said that? Kenji? Aki?"
No one answered me. I got up and went back to the door to take another look. Maybe someone was standing there. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I walked back and lay down on the bed. Suddenly the voice spoke again, I didn't realize it, but I passed out on the ground and found myself again in my vision or memory?
"Dad, why don't you want to be friends with me? They say I'm different. I want to be, but normal." The faceless figure stroked my hair.
"You'll never be that. Accept your lot. Take advantage of your extraordinary. Everyone is different."
The rest of my memory dissolved before my eyes, and I fell into sweet black unconsciousness.
