"Let my blood be the fuel for your holy light, I ask this of your most holy name, o flame in our souls. Favor me with your almighty power." Thorin's blood smeared on the sword combusted and enveloped the blade in a blazing fire.
Dillia's face twitched in fear as she gazed at the flames, with a flick of her hand she sent the light sword flying towards Thorin, who in turn swung his flaming sword with all his might.
Thorin's attack covered the sky in a sea of flames, illuminating the dark night completely and consuming Dillia's attack completely.
THorin smirked in excitement, it had been a long time since he could fight with all of his power. His body flickered once again, this time appearing face-to-face with Dillia.
Baltsar was in awe as he watched the battle, each attack caused the ground to shake and the sky to brighten, their movements so fast that he could only follow theirs after images.
Donis's and Kamni's reactions were the same, the only other person that caused this reaction in them was Dalmaak.
-" Maybe they can really kill him." Donis gulped as he finally experienced the true power of the mysterious group.
Kamni nodded in excitement, the thought of someone dealing with Dalmaak was too appealing for him. His hatred for Baltsar slowly diminished as he finally understood what he meant by people they shouldn't mess with.
Sweat dripped over Thorin's forehead as he constantly chased Dillia around the sky, leaving a trail of flaming embers wherever he passed. He didn't have the same flying capabilities that Dillia had, so fighting in the sky was proving to be more challenging than he expected.
With her seemingly infinite energy reserves, Dillia flew around the sky blasting Thorin and the Harbor alike, with no worries about innocent lives or the destruction that they were causing, this forced Thorin to block most of her attacks, increasing even further the difficulty of the fight.
-" Dilia! Wake up!" Thorin wanted to resolve this situation without putting Dillia's life in danger.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
Thorin's face darkened as Dillia didn't show any reaction to his words, the battle was getting out of hand, and he needed to finish this fast.
The flames on his sword grew louder as he gathered every bit of aura he could, as he wanted to subdue Dillia with his next move.
Thorin gritted his teeth as he swung his flaming sword, causing the whole sky above the city to be engulfed in a sea of flames, attracting even more attention to the battle.
Dillia swiped her hands as she enveloped herself with yellow energy in hopes of blocking Thorin's attack, yet, the flames were too voracious, and even with her incredible energy pool she couldn't hold on for too long.
More and more civilians came out of their houses as the city rumbled, the clash of energy above the city so strong and menacing that even the city patrol was afraid to go check the situation.
The yellow light in Dillia's eyes dimmed slightly as the fire burned away her energy, the skin of her arms was completely scorched, and even with her unnatural regeneration, the wounds were still gruesome.
Thorin's body flickered once more as the flames dissipated and taking advantage of her wounded state he wrapped his black chains around Dillia's neck. The chains seared Dillia's neck as Thorin tightened them.
-" Don't fight it, the more you struggle, the more pain you will be in." Thorin's face was completely serious as he choked Dillia.
Dillia tried her best to break free, but, the chains were made with the same materials as the monoliths used to trap a Sun Blessed. This metal dissipated Aether, weakening every aspect of the Sun Blessed.
Even Dillia's regeneration had basically stopped, increasing, even more, the strain on her body as her futile struggle only worsened her body state. it didn't take too long for her to lose her conscience and pass out in Thorin's arms.
He breathed in relief as the fight was finally over, he looked around the paled as he saw the destruction in the harbor, there weren't many people around the area as most of the civilians had already fled, but, the amount of destruction was bond to have caused some causalities.
Baltsar and his group were happy to know that the battle finally ended, they were all impressed by Thorin's power.
-" Should be bet on them?" Kamni clenched his fists, he didn't want to work with someone from the Sun Lands, especially a group that killed two of his friends, but, their power was something that they needed now.
-" What choice do we have?" Baltsar got up and waved at Thorin. " We can only blame ourselves for being too weak to defend our homes."
Thorin and the group soon returned to the ship, Robert and a good part of the crew were already on deck as the fight had waked them.
-" Tsk! I had my suspicions that you were the one fighting when I learned that you had left the boat." Robert couldn't help, but, look at THorin in a different light, he always was a pretty strong person, but, he never was at this level while in the army. " What do we do now?"
-" Just leave the harbor, I don't know if someone is following us." Thorin originally wanted to travel by land, but, the fight must have caught the attention of many people, so laying low for a few days in the sea was the right choice.
-" You heard him yourselves, Lads!" Robert shouted as he began to prepare the ship. " Drop the sails and let's get this thing moving."
Donis, Kamni, and the rest of Baltsar companions were confused, after all, they didn't expect to have to flee the city with the group.
Kamni approached Thorin carefully, the man's power still engraved deep down in his mind. " Excuse me, can we leave the boat now?"
Thorin smiled as he looked at the Kamni. " Why don't you recover here?" Thorin patted the man on the back as he continued. " We have a few things to ask you..." Thorin didn't just want information about the Northern Lands situation, he also wanted to know what happened tonight.
