The stalemate in the ship caused Thorin to grow anxious, he expected that Vysard would show mercy after the pirates surrendered, so he quickly gestured for Oppius to go clean up, however, he quickly noticed the gigantic wave of energy gathering above the pirate ship.
-" It looks like the Little Holy man isn't that merciful." Oppius smirked, he never expected SBO-1 to really wipe them out. " Don't you fear that you just created a killing machine?"
Thorin gulped, he was seriously regretting allowing Vysard to go. He wanted to give Vysard an opportunity to get used to killing, but, he never expected for him to go all out. " I don't believe that Vysard will lose himself so easily. " Thorin sighed as he gripped the ship rails. " The path we walk is one of iron and blood, there is no running from that."
Oppius dropped his book as watching the unfolding scene was way more entertaining, the idea of the pure and naive boy being forced to kill so many people made his smile even wider. " I bet that the Cardinals would be proud of their weapon."
Thorin's heart sank as he heard Oppius's comment, he always tried to protect Vysard from the cruel and gruesome nature of their world, but, in the end, he was the one who forced the boy to do something like this,
Thorin bit his lips as he held the urge to rebuke Oppius's remarks and continued to watch the scene.
Vysard watched the terrified pirates with his eyes full of rage, their hypocrisy made him feel disgusted. " I wonder if any ounce of blame and regret ever passed by your heads? I bet that the looks you are all giving me now are similar to the ones that your victim had."
Vysard closed his hand, and with this, all the energy that had gathered above him fell violently on the ship.
Visard's attack had completely erased every last bit of the pirate ship and the entirety of its crew completely, leaving only a gigantic hole in the ocean as great amounts of had evaporated.
Vysard floated above the ocean in a dazed state, and he only jolted awake as the surrounding water began to pour into the empty space to fill it. He felt the urge to throw up as he finally realized how many lives he had taken, but, he endured it.
He knew that this had to be done, the pirate scourge would keep inflicting more damage on innocent civilians. It was better to have the blood of a few dozen of criminals on his hands than to be responsible for the countless deaths that they would cause if they were left to their own devices.

Vysard took a deep breath and returned to his ship, his thoughts were a jumbled mess as he couldn't get what he had just done out of his mind.
-" Hey Thorin? I did it." Vysard was feeling sick, but, Thorin's previous words helped him come to terms with his actions.
Thorin's heart was racing as he stared at Vysard. He quickly grabbed the boy and hugged him tightly. -" I know how it feels, feeling like this just shows that you aren't like them." Thorin tried his best to comfort the boy. " This isn't something that a sane person would take pride in."
Vysard eyes were misty as he felt Thorin's embrace, he tried to speak, but, only gasps came out.
Thorin patted the boy's head and continued. " Vysard I want you to remember this feeling clearly, this feeling is the proof that you are different from them, this is the proof of your humanity."
Vysard emotions finally reached their peak as Thorin comforted him and he completely broke down, tears poured from his eyes as he held Thorin, this was his first time taking the life of another human, and it was a day that he promised never to forget.
After Vysard calmed down a bit more, Thorin took him to his room and let the boy rest for the rest of the trip. The ship would take a few more days to reach its destination, so he wanted to use this time to make sure that Vysard was fine.
Thorin only grew more worried as the days came and went. Vysard almost never ate or slept during those days, so Thorin felt that he needed to do something, but, he didn't know how the help the boy.
After carefully thinking about the situation, he decided to ask the opinion of Robert, his old friend was someone that had more experience in dealing with people.
Thorin barged into Robert's room without even knocking and sat down on one of the chairs next to his desk, he waited patiently for Robert to finish penning the letter that he was writing.
-" Tsk! You don't even knock!" Robert complained to Thorin immediately after finishing the letter. " So? Do you want my help with the boy?"
-" How do you know that?" Thorin was surprised that Robert already knew the reason for his visit.
-" For god's sake! You are acting just like him." Robert stashed the letter he wrote away and took a deep sip of his bottle of rum. " When was the last time you slept? And do you really think that the crew didn't notice you standing next to the boy's room the past few nights?"
Robert's words embarrassed Thorin, he only remembered that he hadn't eaten in the past two days thanks to his remarks. " I don't know what to do, I feel guilty... If I hadn't forced him, he wouldn't be going through all of this."
Robert sighed, his old friend was just as he remembered. " I can't do anything." Robert took another sip of rum as he watched Thorin's panicking, and then continued. " At least not yet."
Thorin was relieved that Robert had an idea. " Not yet? What are you planning?"
Robert let out a deep breath, the odor of strong alcohol from the man's breath so strong that it could be felt across the room. " I will take him to meet some people."
Thorin grew even more confused by his answer, but, Robert refused to explain anything further and kicked Thorin out of his room, and as he was finally alone he retrieved the letter he was writing again.
-" Do I really need more alcohol to write this?" Robert laid his head down on the table as his mind wandered back to the day of the pirate attack, he initially didn't recognize the ship, but, as they approached it and his whole crew were struck with terror.
Robert sailed around this ocean for close to fifteen years now, and he knew every pirate crew that plagued those waters, especially that one.
The Black beard Pirates, a crew so violent and ruthless that their name was known in every sea. Just the mention of their name was enough to cause fear in the bravest sailor, so the news that Black Beard and his crew were wiped from the face of the earth was something that all sailors would joyfully appreciate.
They all had suffered in the hands of those dammed pirates, and Robert even had lost crewmembers to them.
-" Someone finally avenged you all." Robert continued to sip his rum as he began to remember all the comrades he had lost. " That little boy doesn't even know how many people would be grateful to him if they learned about it."
