The dim-lit interior of the tent made the group even tenser, they all kneeled as soon as they entered it and waited for Daalmak to speak.
Daalmak was sitting on a throne covered with furs, his eyes were serious, and held his halberd with his right hand. " So? What is the situation there?" Daalmak gave the group a fleeting glance before closing his eyes again.
Shiy finally found the courage to raise his head and face Daalmak, he coughed twice before getting up. " We found traces of Sun Energy in the Harbor of Azilay, a city in the Asherah Kingdom, and by the destruction and the quantity of energy there... I'm sure that a Sun Born fought." Shiy's gaze was calm as he waited for Daalmak's response.
-' A Sun Born?" Daalmak exchanged glances with the man standing next to him, and returned his attention to Shiy. " Any leads on the Sun Born location?"
-" Most likely escaped by the sea." The situation was confusing to Shiy, the Sun Born was most likely sent by the church, but, he didn't know who he fought against and why. " His enemy is still unclear, but, it wouldn't be unfounded to think that it was someone from the North."
-" Don't tell me that the Sun Lands bastards are trying to get a piece of the north too?" After a few seconds of silent Daalmak continued. " Hannibal?"
The man standing next to Daalmak shook his head, he held his chin as he thought about the situation. " I doubt that the other party was someone from the North, I gathered the information of every dangerous northern warrior, and no one on the list is in the Asherah Kingdom currently. " Hannibal opened a small map and studied it briefly. " There are two options, a fugitive Sun Born or internal strife."
Daalmak nodded, he knew that he wasn't the brightest or the most gifted individual in strategy, so he always valued the opinion of an intellectual like Hannibal.
-" Internal Strife..." Daalmak felt that he need to take advantage if the Sun Lands were embroiled in a civil war, " How strong was the Sun Born?"
Shiy took a deep breath as he seriously considered the words he would say. " Days had already passed when we got there, but, the residual energy there was close to what you caused when fighting."

Daalmak eyes opened in surprise, he was a serious man and put his duty as a commander above everything, however, as a warrior he was always interested in a worthy opponent. " Oh? That Strong?" Daalmak tightened the grip over his halberd and closed his eyes again, but, this time he had a smirk on his face.
-" They may pose a danger to our plan." Hannibal remained calm and stoic, he quickly grabbed a pen and began to mark spots on the map. " Reinforce the security near the biggest mines, Sol'gos wouldn't like the shipments to stop."
Shiy nodded and quickly ordered two of his subordinates to go. " Ivo! Goran! Go and make sure that no one strange can reach close to the mines." While Daalmak was the general, Hannibal was the one who truly ran the operations of the legion, so nobody ever dared to question his suggestions.
Hannibal sighed as he saw Daalmak's face, he knew him very well so he already could tell what he was thinking. " Do you want to go hunt them?"
-" A strong hunter should strive for strong prey." Daalmak smirked as he answered the question. " And it's better to deal with this quickly."
Hannibal pouted, the priority of their mission was to secure the shipment of ores to the rest of the second army. " Daalmak... Isn't this dangerous? What if they are planning to strike the mining operation?"
-" One more reason to go and squash them swiftly." Daalmak's heart raced as he thought of fighting a worthy opponent, the strongest powerhouses of the north never had the chance to fight as no kingdom dared to stand up against the mighty Eastern Empire.
Hannibal was helpless, he knew that when Daalmak had set his sights on something, no one would be able to stop him.
-" At least warn us if you leave, this way we can make some preparations." Hannibal defeatedly walked back to his table and began to flip some papers.
-" Don't worry, I won't go hunting them blindly." Daalmak was itching for a good fight, but, he knew that it would be difficult to find the person who fought at the harbor. " Shiy, go to Chaistos and look for information about the Harbor incident," Daalmak knew that many of the north strongest fighters were reuniting there, so there was a good chance that someone would have some news.
Schad's eyes flashed with excitement as he heard the order, he wanted to stand up and volunteer himself for this mission right away, but, Daalmak intimidating presence made him behave.
-" Understood." Shiy was relieved that he wouldn't be forced to follow Daalmak in his hunt, but, this feeling only lasted a short moment as he noticed Schad's begging gaze.
And as he suspected, the moment they left the tent Schad already came begging to let him go to Chaistos, and after countless of minutes hearing Schad's constant pleas, Shiy decided to let him go.
-" Just remember we are on a mission!" Shiy already knew that he would end up regretting bringing Schad along, but, he couldn't take any more of his pestering,
-" Don't worry, Don't worry." Schad's tried his best to soothe Shiy. " I can party after we get the information we want." Schad smiled ear to ear, to him a good party was a party filled with women, and drinking in the army camp where a woman was a rarity was torture for him.
Janset shook his head in disappointment, she couldn't believe how a man so consumed by his vices had come for far in the army. Seeing that Shiy already had found his helper in this mission, she decided to go rest.
-" Hey! Where are you going? You are coming with me." Shiy saw JAnset trying to leave and called her.
-" Schad is already going, you won't need any more help." Janset was tired of the various days riding on horseback and just wanted to rest. " And besides that, I don't know if I can stand to stay another day near Schad."
-" Do you really believe that Schad will be useful?" Shiy was sure that Schad would vanish as soon they get into the city, so he wanted to bring in an extra person that was capable. " It's better to finish this quickly, Hannibal may need our help."
