CHAPTER 26 – GOLDEN CROW’S SAINTESS

At the end of the woods which Qian Mu escaped into there was only one thing awaiting her.

It was… THE OCEAN!!!!

Damn it, how could I forget this place was an Island! She cursed internally. How was she supposed to escape now?

Perhaps…she suddenly thought back to a certain person who had jumped up from a hole. Could that be a tunnel to a boat?

Realizing this possibility, she cautiously headed back to where she came from. Silently stepping over the doorstep she slowly moved towards the hole in the ground. From inside she could only hear the muffled voice of someone being violently beaten.

“You have ten breaths of time to tell me what you know about Yan Jiayi,” this was the cold voice of the assassin!

Qian Mu gasped in shock as she noticed that infront of him, with his mouth gagged was none other than Yan Qiu!

However this gasp was immediately caught by the assassin sharp senses. “Who’s there?” he asked. However, this was sort of a rhetorical question because he was already out of the hole and had Qian Mu in a deadlock before his question was finished!

“Eh… its you again,” he was also surprised seeing the girl. Didn’t she already run away?

“I… Don’t… Have… a boat,” She choked out.

The assassin was left speechless. How were you planning to escape an island without a boat? Is this girl stupid?

Regardless, the fact is she is here. No harm in helping her escape this villains hands. This assassin absolutely hated the people of the Golden Crow Sacred Ground. So seeing the opportunity to get someone out of their clutches was something he was definitely not unwilling to do.

However at this moment the sound of marching could be heard coming in this direction.

Chick chick! A small three legged golden chick madly jumped out of Qian Mu’s pocket as if it were fleeing for its life. However this conclusion was far from true. Before the assassin could even react a strong burst of pure golden fire appeared, surrounding the chick. The burning ball slowly rose off the ground as it shot towards the marching guards.

Without sparing them a glance it burned through their shields heading towards one of the leading elders who was in the midst of giving directions.

This elder was one of the outer court elders who had been watching the golden crow chick. So seeing the burning ball of flame appear in front of him he was left staring with his mouth agape in shock.

“Elder watch out!” a guard shouted. However the golden ball of flame was moving too fast. In less than a second it had already reached the outer court elder. And just as it made contact with the tip of his nose…

Standing on his nose appeared the three legged golden chick! Shaking its head, as if it were dizzy!

Every single person held their breath in shock. Although most had never heard of the golden crow chick, they could tell that this was certainly a divine beast! However the elder was shocked for another reason.

Earlier, he had seen this chick happily sleeping in the pocket of that maid girl! Why was it on a girl!

It should be known that the female body is very weak in Yang energy compared to the male body. This is why only men would be born with a Pure Yang physique and only women are born with Pure Yin Physiques. The golden crow is the embodiment of the sun the greatest, most fearful source of pure yang energy! So why was this chick happily roaming around with a girl? Why did it even leave the nest to begin with?

The only logical reason he could come up with… She’s a transvestite!

As these strange thoughts were confusing that outer court elder, the assassin was carefully observing the strange golden chick. However, the elder no longer seemed to care about Yan Qiu anymore. For right now his eyes were completely on the three legged golden crow chick which was hopping back to Qian Mu.

When the chick neared her it cocked its head back and snapped its beak, as if to say “You people are bothersome” before jumping back into Qian Mu’s pocket.

Seeing this scene the Outer Court Elder became extremely terrified. He was the supervisor who was in charge of guarding Yan Qiu. SO how could he not know who this maid was. She was the one who was always treated the most brutally by Yan Qiu, and he had never stopped Yan Qiu from treating her the way he did… But right now, with the golden crow chick’s actions, she could very well be the reason the chick hatched! Because the chick hatched… at the same month she was brought here as a servant…

They reached this conclusion for one reason only, this elder never bowed to Yan Qiu, so naturally for him to bow to this servant girl meant she had an unshakable status!

As they recalled how she had been treated, they immediately wanted to puke out there intestines.
