Yesterday, the Elder Thorpe Hope, trudged his way to his residence early this morning looking dishevelled and sporting several wounds. As he was returning, we managed to intercept the Elder Werewolf returning to his Manor, asking him what had happened and how he feels about attacking an innocent human and damaging the Segregation Pact of 1910.
The Elder declined to comment. He was merely muttered that they would make a statement at a later date.
Unfortunately for some of my companions who don't know when to stop badgering an elder werewolf who's having a bad day they pushed him on the questions not allowing him to get home to rest. As I back away quietly, the air around me starts whipping itself up into gust and then a gale, clouds begin to form overhead, as the areas darkened.
Thorpe grew over the heads of all those present his fang obvious to see the hair growing on his elongating snout. Deafening myself and the reporters around him, "If you have not left the immediate vicinity within fifteen minutes, then you'll not find yourself in your comfort ivory towers but rest peacefully in my stomach." To say the least, there was nothing within a mile of Thorpe within minutes of his display of power.
Beyond the Elder's return, there have been fights and skirmishes throughout the country for the past few days from bar fights in London. Hidden World's Bar which spilt out onto the streets apparently some vamp's questioned the breeding of some werewolves and then also insulted were kind calling the all dishonourable and weak. Well, thankfully it seems that no claws or fangs were drawn just a pure slugfest. Unlike the next part, no one was killed.
Unfortunately in Cardiff a young cub (who's the name will not be published so name Bob.)just having left his clan to experience the human world and maybe find a mate was brutally attacked by a small and equally as a young group of vampires. Ambushed the werewolf foolishly with fang and claws bared slicing at the Bob who in self-defence managed a partial transformation returning everything he got.
Undeservedly the wounded vampires, who'd started the fight realised that they might lose said fight so stopped holding back. So they desperately tried incapacitating Bob if you haven't guessed or are unknowledgeable in werewolves well they're tough as old magical leather boots. If they've got a head-on head battle, then you'll have bad day making them fall. As in any fight, there is always the frightening reality that unconsciousness is always centimetres from death. Unlucky for the young werewolf and vampires. The unjustified clumsy karate chop from a vampire who was slashed across the chest in return, knicked an artery in the werewolf neck that went unnoticed by either party.

Only once the werewolf stagger to the side unsteady on his feet was it noticed as the vamps saw, they descended onto Bob who was in a weakened state leaving him vulnerable to the opportunistic vampires who beat the werewolf into unconsciousness.
Leaving victoriously with scars to show off and an inflated ego, beating their chests to the close nightclub, leaving Bob to die of his wounds.
The young vampires soon found out to their horror what the vampire leader Gwen Thoroughcut thought of their exploits as it was reported by dozens of witnesses that they had been hung out by their thumbs in the daylight all day long. It was also reported to the Dark Times directly by Thoroughcut that she was looking to contact all Welsh Werewolf clans to apologise to them. To which she has received nothing as they are worryingly silent on the matter to see if there is any way for her to compensate them. Even suggesting that she would hand over those responsible.
With outcry and accusation within her own house at her weakness which she put down with brutal efficiency by imprisoning and executing those disagreeing with her.
The Welsh Werewolf clans aren't the only ones which have been suspiciously silent within the political climate. Of course, we can't get the vampires to shut up without the werewolves to confront them. With several humans reporting weird or unusual storm clouds travelling across the countryside it is suspected that there is a lot of movement within the Were clans. Not that they're the only ones with unusual movement pattern as we've gathered reports that Vampire Houses across the country are recalling people back to their territories.
On the final note Joe Smith, that was attacked has been confirmed to be a newly awakened Scion of an Elder Werewolf, his name's Ethan Drake 22, born in Wales, Cardiff. Who on his late-night run encountered Elder Thorpe who's clan resides currently in Caerphilly.
