Very early this morning Fang Olaf, one of the most powerful werewolves in existence was found to have broken free of his own chains at the full of the moon. He has also managed to break down several inches of steel door and concrete surround and escape into the night.
It was later discovered that he had found a late-night jogger, a young man, and while under the effects of a full moon Olaf savagely attacked him and bit him.
The young man, unfortunately survived the attack and was found by a few humans who were running the same route, and the victim is currently unconscious in a human hospital. Their police suspect that, ‘He was attacked and tortured by someone.’
Speaking to Huw, the human who found him, we were told that, ‘He was surprised that the young man was still alive considering the state he was left in. Muscles had been flayed, a lot of blood had pooled around him.’
Huw is currently being seen by counsellors, after his traumatic encounter. With the human world sedated by their own delusion about the shadowed world, there is a worry at the Council of All, that the attack of the mortal young man will not be the last attack, as Olaf has yet to emerge from the forest.
Some of the council are worried that he remembers the incident and is on the run from the law. The British werewolf league, second in command of werewolf matters after the Council of All, have publicly and officially insisted that, ‘Whether Olaf was the one to attack the young man, or not, he would come out and accept his fate.’
They also informed us of some exciting information on werewolves, “As a werewolf becomes more used to his shapeshifting power he, or she, matures, increasing their natural attunement, and their training. The rage and hunting instinct of the full moon period can become uncontrollable as they get stronger, and the full shift can last several hours longer.’

This is the British werewolf league’s main explanation as to why he hasn’t returned to his home yet, as they believe he has yet to turn back into his human form. They assure us that he will return to face the Council of All, to see what is to be done.
However as you would expect the Vampires are in turmoil, and are calling for a hunt to begin immediately. Olaf as the leader of the British Werewolf League, has broken of the Pact of the Bite, an agreement that was proposed in the 1910’s to stop the Werewolves and Vampires, from producing new members of their respective species. The Vampires feel it is prejudicial to them, that the werewolves have broken this law. Olaf and the Vampire council signed the pact when both sides agreed that it was a necessary curse to keep the supernatural world as hidden as possible from the humans.
With this attack on the human and with the possibility of his survival he could very well become the first werewolf in over a hundred years, and a powerful one at that, but with his first transformation the Pact would be officially broken. After speaking to our legal team, I have been have informed that the Pact didn’t have much in the way of punishment, as it was just an understanding between the two species. They could no longer safely create more of their kind. The experts warn us that the braking of the pact will have a significant effect on humanity as the two species have been wanting to increase there numbers for some time and only the pact kept them in check.
With all that said, the Council of All has already called for Olaf to be presented to them as soon as possible, so they can discuss what can be done to settle the already uneasy relations between to the two species. With many organisations calling for calm and dialogue.
We at the Dark Times will endeavour to keep you informed as the events are unveiled, so please keep reading for updates.
