Rormen carries Feeon back to the large wide bed and lays him down so he can rest. Feeon is still wearing his brown robe and towel loin cloth.
Bullatron notices all of the Humanimals gathering their weapons. They have swords, axes, spears, and shields. Bullatron finds Raccoono on the wall with the three human Raccoons. They wait for Raccoono to give the order to fire at the Screaming Meanies as they approach the gates. Bullatron runs up the stairs of the wall and heads to Raccoono. Bullatron turns to look at the Screaming Meanie army near the lake. “How many do you see?” Bullatron asks Raccoono.
Raccoono does not answer. He stares at the army with a very serious look on his face. He counts quietly.
Raccoono turns to Bullatron. “I can see at least nine hundred of them,” answers Raccoono.
Bullatron stares at the army as they march toward the gates.
The skeleton army stops before they reach the gates of Azent Kingdom. General Dread approaches the gates of Azent.
General Dread stops walking and looks up at the top of the gates. “We’re here to destroy you all! We want Feeon! Send someone to negotiate! Now!” shouts General Dread.
The three human raccoons aim their arrows at General Dread.
General Dread folds his arms impatiently.
“We’re waiting! Send someone to negotiate or we are coming in any way!” shouts General Dread impatiently.
Bullatron looks behind him and sees many strong Humanimals ready for war. They all have weapons. Some are wearing solid dark blue armor. They wait for Rormen’s command.
Bullatron turns back to Raccoono. “I need to warn the king,” says Bullatron.
Bullatron jumps off the stone wall and runs to Feeon’s tower.
Faron and Rormen are waiting for orders from Feeon in the bedroom. Faron is worried and doesn’t know what to do. He doesn’t know how to command an army. Rormen is also worried. Feeon slowly opens his eyes and tries to sit up in his bed. He takes a deep breath and lets out a loud sigh.
Faron notices Feeon sitting in the bed. “Father,” says Faron.
Feeon turns to Rormen and Faron.
Rormen walks up to Feeon. “How do you feel, my king?” asks Rormen.
Feeon rubs his head. “I feel a little better. It has been two and a half days since I got sick. My body still hurts a little, but not as bad as before,” answers Feeon.
Rormen raises his right eyebrow. “So what does it mean?” asks Rormen.
Faron rubs his chin. “Don’t you see? The sickness was not a curse at all. It was just a normal sickness that normal people sometimes get,” says Faron.
Feeon gets out of his bed and stretches his back. Feeon lets a quiet groan then walks up to Faron and hugs him tightly. The two wolfmen chuckle, Rormen smiles at them and then bows to Feeon.
“Glad you’re feeling better, your highness,” says Rormen proudly.
Feeon and Faron release their hug.
Feeon turns to Rormen. “Thank you for taking care of me and speaking for me.”
Feeon turns back to Faron. “Son, I know that you are afraid of me dying and becoming king after my death. But I will teach you how to be a great king someday,” he says to Faron.
Faron feels a strong hand patting his right shoulder. It is Rormen’s hand. Faron notices Rormen smiling proudly at him with his wrinkly rhinoceros face.
Rormen pounds his chest with his fist. “And I will teach you to be a great warrior, my prince. I will teach our skills and the way of our battles. You will train with me in the Training Ground whenever you have the time. One day you will become a great warrior just like your father. It will take some time but we will manage,” says Rormen.
Faron smiles and nods at Rormen. Rormen turns to Feeon and nods. Feeon smiles and nods back.
Bullatron opens the doors and runs to the throne room at the top of the tower. He sees that Feeon is no longer lying sick in bed.
Bullatron gasps with surprise. “You’re majesty! You are well again!” Bullatron shouts with surprise.
Feeon nods. “I suppose that the Screaming Meanies want to negotiate with me?” Feeon asks Bullatron.
Bullatron nods.
Feeon growls and shakes his right fist. “Then we will negotiate, but we will not surrender, nor will we let them enter our kingdom. They are nothing but fragile skeletons. We have been training for years for this moment. We are prepared to face the battles that are ahead.” Feeon turns towards the closet. “We will fight for our home,” says Feeon.
Feeon walks to the closet. He opens the doors to reveal his golden-bluish Roman-like armor hanging inside the closet. Rormen, Bullatron, and Faron are watching Feeon starring. Feeon’s armor is a bit old and rusty but still looks strong.
Rormen sighs through his rhino nose. “You have not worn that armor for many years, but it still looks strong,” says Rormen.
Feeon grabs his golden helmet. Feeon sees his reflection in the helmet.
“Yes Rormen, I have been avoiding this closet since the first war with Horror. I guess that it is time to use my old battle skills. My father used to say that my armor would last for as long as I live and that it will always protect me,” says Feeon.
Feeon removes his robe and throws it on his bed. He takes off his towel loincloth and drops it on the floor. He begins to put on his armor. He puts on the shoulder pads and puts the helmet on his head. He puts on the rest of the armor. His golden blue armor is now covering his whole body. Feeon grabs his sword and walks out the door and down the tower stairs. Rormen, Bullatron, and Faron follow him.
Feeon approaches the tower exit. “General Rormen, give the word that I am well,” Feeon orders Rormen.
Rormen walks out of the tower and into the Humanimal crowd. “Humanimals of Azent! Your King is well again!” shouts Rormen.
The Humanimals turn and see Feeon standing in the middle of the doorway of the tower. The Humanimals stare at Feeon. They all bow to him.
“Everyone!” Feeon shouts.
The Humanimals stand up to listen to what Feeon has to say.
“I have been a fool. A lazy and drunken king. But no more of those things! You see, I have been waiting for a human boy, an Earthling from another world that the old man told us about. Since the Earthling arrived my powers had fully been restored! And with this power, I can help you win this war! And we will! Thanks to this boy, this Earthling! I have the power now! And we will have our victory!” Feeon raises his sword.
All of the Humanimals cheer.
“Feeon! Feeon! Feeon!” their cheering echoes.
General Dread waits impatiently outside the gates. He sighs.
“If you won’t negotiate, then we’re coming in!” shouts General Dread.
General Dread pulls out his large wide long sword and walks toward the gates. The gates begin to open. General Dread stops walking. He can see King Feeon and his Humanimal army behind him. Rormen is on the right side of Feeon and Faron is on the left side. The Humanimal army follows Feeon as he walks toward the Screaming Meanie army. There are about six hundred Humanimals. There are more Screaming Meanies than Humanimals.
Feeon stops and raises his right hand. The Humanimal army stops and stands still behind king Feeon. Feeon takes a deep breath and looks up to the top of the wall. He notices that there are three human raccoons and three human black foxes with bows and arrows on the wall. One of the human black foxes is wearing nothing and showing his tan fur. The other two human black foxes are wearing brown vests and blue pants.
Raccoono pats the back of the human black fox. “You ready for this, ?” asks Raccoono.
Fen nods. “Are you kidding me? I’ve been waiting for this since I trained to be an archer,” says Fen.
Raccoono and Fen are in charge of the six archers on the wall. Feeon nods at Raccoono and Raccoono nods back. Feeon turns back and stares at General Dread. Feeon walks towards General Dread while gripping his sword in his right hand. General Dread walks towards Feeon gripping his sword. Feeon growls under his breath and General Dread clenches his rotten teeth together. They stop when they are three feet from each other. They stare at each other for a moment.
General Dread chuckles. “So this is the great King Feeon. Ha! I thought that you were a human. Oh! That was ages ago, now you are fluffy like a cute little wolf,” mocks General Dread.

Feeon remains calm.
“We will defeat your fragile army. We Humanimals are tough and strong! Now, what do you want?” asks Feeon.
“Isn’t it obvious? We’ve come for the Earthling,” answers General Dread.
Feeon squeezes his left fist and it trembles with anger. General Dread sees Feeon’s fist trembling.
“Ah. So you know the Earthling, I thought you might,” says General Dread.
“He’s not here, so I suggest that you and your army go back where you came from.” Feeon raises his sword in front of General Dread’s face. “Now,” says Feeon with a growl.
General Dread grins at Feeon. Then General Dread’s eyes turn to the right.
General Dread sees someone move up behind Feeon. “Veeule,” mutters General Dread.
Feeon turns around and sees the colorful old human Baboon behind him. “Leave Veeule, this is not your battle!” shouts Feeon.
Veeule raises his hand to silence Feeon. Then Veeule walks forward and stops in front of General Dread.
Veeule smiles cunningly. “I know about the Earthling that you seek,” Veeule says to Dread.
Dread sighs. “Tell me about him,” orders General Dread.
Feeon moves in front of Veeule. He aims his sword at Dread’s face.
“No! This is none of your business Veeule! Do not get involved! You are old and weak!” shouts Feeon.
General Dread points his sword at Feeon’s face. “It’s too late! Veeule is already involved!”
General Dread turns to Veeule. “Now tell me Veeule, will the Earthling have any kind of special powers?” asks General Dread.
“No,” answers Veeule.
A wrinkle appears on Veeule’s face.
General Dread clenches his teeth. “Will he control everything around him? The rocks, the wind, the grass, the water, the trees?” asks General Dread.
“No,” answers Veeule.
Another wrinkle appears on Veeule’s face.
“Can he change his form into another creature?” asks General Dread.
“No,” answers Veeule.
Another wrinkle appears on Veeule’s face. Feeon notices the wrinkles appearing on Veeule’s face every time Veeule answers General Dread’s questions.
Feeon lowers his sword. “Veeule what's happening to you?” asks Feeon.
Veeule turns to Feeon. “Nothing,” answers Veeule.
Another wrinkle appears on Veeule’s face. General Dread begins to growl.
“He is getting old!” shouts General Dread.
Veeule turns to General Dread. “No I am not,” says Veeule.
General Dread aims his sword at Veeule’s face. “Liar, you are getting old! You are lying!” shouts General Dread.
Veeule shakes his head. Veeule’s white mane turns grey.
General Dread screams ferociously. “Stop lying and tell me the truth!” he shouts.
“I will stop lying… that was another lie,” Veeule chuckles. His chuckling turns into a rough cough.
Feeon places his right hand on Veeule’s back and his left hand on Veeule’s chest.
“Veeule, do you age every you lie?” asks Feeon.
Veeule looks at Feeon’s face and shakes his head. More wrinkles appear all over his body. Veeule groans and collapses to his knees. Feeon catches him in his arms.
“Veeule? Are you all right? Just tell me what’s going on with you?” asks Feeon.
Veeule coughs as he tries to answer. “H-he m-must n-not k-know a-about D-Daniel’s p-powers,” stutters Veeule.
A tear flows down Feeon’s face. “Why is this happening to you?” asks Feeon.
“I cursed myself to keep the secret safe. I didn’t want our enemies to know about the Earthling. I cannot speak the truth about the earthling to our enemies but the cost is that I age when I tell a lie. I was already old before I cursed myself so it’s not too great a sacrifice for me to make to keep the earthlings secret safe,” Veeule says weakly.
General Dread grabs Veeule by the neck. Feeon growls and raises his sword. “Let him go!” shouts Feeon.
General Dread shakes his head and stares into Veeule’s eyes. “Just answer this last question and you better tell me the truth old bird! No more lies, just the truth!” shouts General Dread.
Veeule starts to choke.
General Dread sighs. “Is Horror going to rule Azent Kingdom and win this battle?” whispers General Dread to Veeule.
Feeon’s blue wolf ears lift. Veeule nods yes to answer Dread's terrible question. Then Veeule lets out his last breath. General Dread growls, tosses Veeule at Feeon, and Feeon catches him in his arms. Feeon stares at Veeule’s face and sighs in sadness.
“Sleep well, old one,” whispers Feeon.
General Dread raises his sword in the air with rage. “He is dead you filthy furry beings! That was his last lie! The old fool lied to me!” shouts General Dread.
Feeon walks up to Bullatron and passes Veeule’s body to Bullatron. Bullatron bows and carries Veeule to the village. Feeon sighs and turns back to General Dread and his Skeleton army.
“General Dread, I heard you ask Veeule about Horror ruling Azent Kingdom. I have great hearing thanks to my wolf ears. Veeule nodded his head to answer your question, and then he died. You are right, General Dread, he did lie to you. He probably knew more about this Earthling than any of us. He lied to you when you asked him if Horror would rule my kingdom.” Feeon grips his sword with both hands.
“Which means you will never rule my kingdom!” Feeon raises his sword in the air.
General Dread raises his sword in the air.
Feeon howls loudly. Raccoono aims his arrows at the Screaming Meanies. The other human raccoons and the human black foxes do the same. Fen aims his arrow at the Screaming Meanie army. “Wait for the signal and aim at their head, their eyes, and their necks,” says Raccoono to the seven archers.
The archers wait for the signal from their king. Feeon runs towards the army and General Dread runs back into his Skeleton army.
“Charge!” shouts Feeon.
The Humanimals charge. They are roaring, grunting, and growling. They raise their shields and their weapons. The Screaming Meanie army waits for the call of the charge from General Dread. General Dread stands in front of his army.
General Dread runs towards the Humanimal army. “Show no mercy!” he screams.
Feeon swings his sword. “Rip them apart like the fragile skeletons they are!” shouts Feeon.
Feeon howls again. Raccoono hears the howl from Feeon. “That’s the signal! Fire!” shouts Raccoono.
The eight archers including Raccoono and Fen fire at the screaming Meanies heads, necks, and eyes. The Screaming Meanies in the front line of the army are shot and fall to the ground, dead, again. The archers continue firing at the Screaming Meanies and hitting them. Feeon runs as fast as he can toward General Dread and General Dread runs toward Feeon.
“Keep firing at them!” shouts Raccoono.
General Dread notices the archers on the wall. He points at a couple of Screaming Meanies, then points at the archers on the wall.
“Kill them!” shouts General Dread.
Eight Screaming Meanies leap off the ground and land on the top of the wall. They pull out their swords. The archers pull out their swords. They block the swords from Screaming Meanies attacks with their swords. More Screaming Meanies leap toward the wall. The human Raccoon archers fire their arrows to stop them.
“There are too many!” shouts a human raccoon.
“Keep on firing! Go for their necks!” shouts Raccoono.
One human raccoon slices a head off of an armored skeleton, then another, and the first another. Raccoono sees a Screaming Meanie stab one of the human raccoons. Then the second and third are slain. Raccoono gasps.
Raccoono turns around to look at the three human fennec foxes. He sees a Screaming Meanie push one of the human black foxes off the wall. The Human black fox slams into the ground. The second human black fox slices the head of a Screaming Meanie.
Raccoono turns around again and sees one of the Screaming Meanies charging toward him. He pulls out his arrow and places it on his bow. Before he can fire, the Screaming Meanie screams. Raccoono groans in pain and covers his ears. The Screaming Meanie hits Raccoono with the end of his sword. Raccoono falls off the wall and his back hits the ground. He groans in pain. The Screaming Meanie jumps off the wall. His legs are on either side of Raccoono’s arms. He leans over Raccoono. Raccoono cannot move. Raccoono grunts and pants.
“Get off of me!” shouts Raccoono.
Raccoono grunts in anger as he feels the strength of the Screaming Meanie on him.
“Die now weak raccoon!” shouts the Screaming Meanie.
The Screaming Meanie raises his sword and is about to stab Raccoono. Fen jumps off the wall and shoots the Screaming Meanie in the head and it falls on Raccoono. The Screaming Meanie is dead. Raccoono pushes the Screaming Meanie off of him and gets up on his feet.
“Are you all right?” Fen asks Raccoono.
Raccoono pants and nods, he runs up the stairs and onto the wall. Fen follows him. Raccoono and Fen watch the Screaming Meanies and Humanimals battling each other on the dusty field in front of the kingdom.
“I’m fine. But we need to get into battle to help the others,” answers Raccoono.
Raccoono leaps off the wall.
“Foxes, follow me!” shouts Fen to the two human black foxes archers.
Raccoono, Fen, and the human black foxes charge into the battlefield. Faron is cutting off the heads of the Screaming Meanies. There is no blood because they are living skeletons in rusty old armor. Faron jumps around and dodges a few arrows that the Screaming Meanies are shooting at him.
Bullatron is crushing the Screaming Meanies with his fists and feet. He roars as he crushes them. Rormen is running through the Screaming Meanies, crushing them in his path with his mighty rhino horn. Raccoono and Fen begin slicing off skeleton heads. The human black foxes are shooting arrows at the skeleton's heads.
Feeon shocks the Screaming Meanies with lighting power out of his palms. The Screaming Meanies are screaming as the lightning bolts shock them. General Dread is punching Humanimals one by one with his metal armor gloves.
Some of the Screaming Meanies begin climbing the wall to get into the kingdom. Rormen and Bullatron notice the Screaming Meanies climbing the wall. “Bullatron, we cannot let them pass the wall!” shouts Rormen.
Rormen and Bullatron run through the army and trample the Screaming Meanies as they run to the wall. A Screaming Meanie cuts through the straps of Rormen’s armor. Rormen stops and looks down. Rormen’s armor slips off of him and falls to the ground. Rormen gasps and pants. He feels his heart pounding fast. Without his armor, Rormen is afraid. He takes in a deep breath and lets it out. He is trying to be brave. He sighs and swallows his fear.
General Dread walks towards Rormen with a grin on his face. Bullatron turns his head and sees Rormen with no armor.
“Rormen!” shouts Bullatron.
Bullatron runs to Rormen. Rormen looks around to find a weapon. He grasps a sword.
“Go Bullatron! I will take care of the Screaming Meanies! You just make sure that no Screaming Meanies get into Azent!” Rormen points to the wall.
Bullatron nods. He leaps to the top of the wall and punches the Screaming Meanies that are trying to pass. Rormen turns around and sees General Dread coming towards him.
Rormen, knowing he needs to be brave, even without his armor, pounds his chest with his fists. “Come on!” he shouts.
“With pleasure,” says General Dread.
General Dread raises his sword. Rormen blocks the blade of General Dread’s sword with his sword. General Dread screams and Rormen roars back.
“You will…” shouts Rormen.
Rormen leaps into the air and spins around with the sword sticking out. “…never…” he continues.
The sword slices a few Screaming Meanies in the air. Rormen raises the sword in the air. He stomps on the ground and throws the sword toward General Dread. General Dread’s eyes widen with fear. The sword slices through General Dread and his skeleton body crumbles into pieces. Rormen runs and punches the bones and grabs General Dread’s sword. He stands on his right leg to balance.
“…hurt me again! I repeat! You will never hurt me again!” Rormen finishes with a grunt.
Feeon and the Humanimal army are winning the battle. Rormen is killing the Screaming Meanies one by one, as are Faron, Bullatron, Fen, and Raccoono. Feeon is tired and weak. He wants to end this battle once and for all. He calls out to all of the Screaming Meanies.
“Come and get me you dead, ugly, weak skeletons! I am the king! It’s me you want!” shouts Feeon.
The Screaming Meanies hear Feeon’s words. They scream with rage. Feeon kneels and curls up like an armadillo. The Humanimals back away from Feeon. The Screaming Meanies run towards Feeon. As they get closer, Faron smiles cunningly. He knows his father is getting ready to do something.
“Do it, dad!” Faron raises his sword in the air.
Feeon’s palms begin to glow brighter and brighter. The Screaming Meanies can almost reach Feeon with their swords. Feeon howls kneel on the ground and sticks out his furry chest. A lightning shock wave explodes out of his palms. The wave grows bigger and bigger. Feeon continues howling as the lightning wave hits the Screaming Meanies and they all explode like bombs. The Screaming Meanies fall into thousand pieces. The wave fades away before it reaches any Humanimals. Feeon stops howling and fall to the ground. Faron runs to his father, helps him stand up, and holds onto him with his arms. “Father,” says Faron.
Feeon grunts and places his right hand on his head. “Oh boy, that one took a lot out of me. Did it work?” asks Feeon.
Faron points to the Screaming Meanies’ bones all over the ground. Their rusty old armor is also all over the ground.
Feeon chuckles weakly. “Wow. I am glad that I met that Earthling boy,” he says.
Faron chuckles. “I know dad, me too,” he says.
Feeon smiles and then walks toward the Humanimal army.
“I am just glad that this battle is over and that Veeule was right. Horror will never rule my home,” says Feeon.
General Dread’s head lay on the ground. He chuckles.
