Meanwhile, a shadowy spiky castle stands in the middle of a dark, cold, and foggy land. The castle is black with spiky sharp rocks all around it. Red fire burns in the windows of the castle. On the right side of the black spiky castle is a tall black tower, with no roof. The cold foggy land is very wide, with not a single living or growing thing in it. Inside the black castle is an evil creepy master. He sits impatiently on his throne. His throne has many skeleton bones. There are six skeleton heads on the top and twelve skeleton arms for the arms of the chair. The dark master has a white skeleton head with a wide grinning creepy smile. He wears a dark hood over his evil head and a black robe around his skeleton body. His eyes are red like fire, and his teeth are pure white. He waits for his minions to return. However, the dark master is very impatient and does not like failures at all.
A Screaming Meanie flies and heads back to the dark castle. The entrance of the black castle is huge with an arch with spikes on the top. Two big black doors are closed.
The Screaming Meanie opens the door and flies up to his master’s creepy black throne room. The skeleton master waits impatiently for the return of his minion. The dark master shuts his eyes and meditates on his skeleton throne, gnashing his teeth over and over again. The Screaming Meanie minion enters the master the throne room.
“My lord Horror,” says the minion.
Horror, the black hooded skeleton opens his eyes and turns to his minion. Having that wide creepy eyes look, makes the whole room very cold and it smells like a corpse.
“The Earthling has left again,” says the spy.
Horror turns his head to the spy and just grins at him.
“When did the Earthling leave,” asks Horror.
“About an hour ago,” answers the spy.
Horror gets up and walks to the door. Horror passes his minion and opens the exit door of his throne room. Horror walks downstairs to exit the castle. He breathes in and out.
“Ah, the smell of death,” says Horror.
Horror walks away from his black castle and heads to the tall black tower. Horror enters it and looks up inside the tower, where another Humanimal is in shackles. The tower is very tall with black wet walls all around. The Humanimal in chains is the human wolverine, the same human wolverine that greeted everyone at the Training Ground. The human wolverine struggles and tries to break the shackles. But it isn’t enough for him to struggle. The human wolverine pants after struggling. The human wolverine looks down and sees a lot of long metal strings on his legs and arms. The metal strings are connecting deep in the ground and in his fur too. He can feel them in his bloodstream and his muscles.
Horror rubs his boney chin. “Well, well, well,” says Horror.
The human wolverine looks down at Horror and growls at him. Horror stares up at the human wolverine's red eyes and chuckles at him.
“You, my friend, are not scared of anything, are you?” asks Horror.
The human wolverine just growls. “You will never capture Feeon!” roars the human wolverine.
Horror hovers over the human wolverine and grabs his face and squeezes it a bit. Then Horror looks down at the human wolverine’s chest and places his right hand on it. The human wolverine can feel the cold dead bony hands on his chest. Horror closes his own eyes and starts whispering in some scary old language.
The human wolverine’s angry look changes into a scared look. Then the human wolverine feels a small cut on his abs. He growls painfully as he feels the cut and yet no knives have touched him.
“What’s going on?” the human wolverine whimpers.
The human wolverine only hears the strange evil chanting words from Horror. Two more cuts appear on the human wolverine’s abs. Horror stops chanting and removes his hand from the human wolverine’s chest. “Now you are ready for the sacrifice,” whispers Horror.
The human wolverine looks up and out of the tower. Dark clouds hover over it.
Not only are the dark clouds hovering over Horrors castle but they hovering all over the blue sky and changing the sky into darkness.
The dark clouds hover over Ivreall falls, where Megan, Tigeron, and I are walking away from the waterfalls and into the green meadow. I look up and notice the dark clouds hovering over us. I look beyond the blue sky over the green meadow and the dark clouds keep hovering in the sky. It feels like a rainstorm is coming but not like any I’ve ever felt before. I feel a raindrop on my head and then another one on my right shoulder. The wind feels very chilly. Megan also feels the rain and so does Tigeron.
I rub my arms. “Do you think that this storm is going to last for a while?” I shiver.
Megan is also shivering and shaking. “Tigeron answers him,” says Megan.
Tigeron shivers and rubs his chest with both arms. “I don’t know. It’s the first one that we have had in a very long time. This is no ordinary storm. This is like a storm that we had a couple of years ago,” answers Tigeron.
I feel the cold wind no more. I look in front of me and Tigeron is in the front. He covers Megan and me with his large muscular body. Tigeron is covering us to block the rain and the cold wind. The dark clouds start to swirl, twist, and turn, like a hurricane. Only the wind isn’t very rough at all. The dark clouds almost look like a giant whirlpool in the sky. Lightning flashes in the clouds. Thunder claps very loudly. The wind starts to blow harder. Tigeron puts his claws on the ground.
“Don’t worry you’ll be safe under me,” says Tigeron.
Megan and I curl up like balls under Tigeron. The sky grows darker. The wind blows even harder, the rain keeps on pouring down on us and the clouds stop hovering. I look up at the sky and the dark clouds have stopped rolling and twisting. They freeze like frozen snow. The dark clouds in the sky look a lot like a huge painting in the sky. It looks very scary, but beautiful too. I crawl away from Tigeron. I stand and stare at the lightning in the clouds. It crashes all over the dark sky.
“I’ve never seen anything like this,” I say.
Megan crawls away from Tigeron and stands right by me. Megan stares at the sky too. The lightning flashes and starts to create what looks like symbols.
One symbol looks like a sun with a dot in the middle, the other one looks like five pickles in a line, the other looks like an up arrow with two lines by it, and another looks like half of a tree with a circle and a triangle by it, another looks like the sun only with a line in the middle, another looks like three whirlpools, another looks like a long line with three lines in it, and another looks like an upside-down triangle with a dot under it.
The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.
“Don’t those symbols look very familiar?” asks Megan.
“They look like the marks on Grizzlyon’s body,” I say.
This feels like a mystery to me. Tigeron stares at the symbols in the dark sky, as if he knows what those symbols mean, or he’s seen them before.
“What do you know that we don’t?” I ask Tigeron.
Tigeron just stares at the lighting storm. He does not answer me. I turn back to look at the lightning in the dark whirlpool cloud. The lightning storm starts to roll away from us. It moves away and up to the north.
“Where is it going?” I ask Tigeron.
“It’s going away from us,” answers Tigeron.
The pouring rain slowly fades away. The cold wind stops blowing. And the blue sky appears with the sun shining.
“That was weird,” I say to myself.
Tigeron shakes his head and looks down at Megan and me. “Shall we continue?” asks Tigeron.
I nod. Tigeron and Megan both start to walk into the green valley. I follow them both. I am still wondering about the storm and why it showed symbols that are on Grizzlyon’s body. And why did Tigeron look like he’s seen that kind of storm before?
Back in the sacrifice tower, Horror reaches his right hand to the dark clouds. The storm still rolls over the sacrifice tower. Rain pours constantly into the tower. The human wolverine looks up and is getting soaked by the rain. The rain in the tower is creating tiny waterfalls on the walls. Puddles splash all over the place.
“Sacrifice!” shouts Horror.
Horror moves his right hand down and places it back on the human wolverine’s chest. Water is falling constantly like a waterfall. Even Horror is getting soaked. The human wolverine begins to choke on the water because there is so much pouring all over him.
“Come lightning!” shouts Horror.
The human wolverine looks up at the tower and the rain storm begins to get worse. The raindrops are growing bigger and bigger. So big they are the size of fists. The human wolverine can barely look up because of all of the thick rain. His body begins to feel very weak and drained.
“What’s…What’s happening to me?” pants the human wolverine.
The human wolverine stares at Horror and pants some more.
“It’s you, you are making me weak,” stutters the human wolverine.
Horror looks up and opens his mouth very wide. He opens it wider and wider. The grinning skeleton laughs and starts to scream very loudly and the human wolverine’s ears begin to bleed a little. Lightning strikes down on the human wolverine’s body. The human wolverine roars in pain, as he bends his back and sticks out his furry chest. The lighting starts to burn him.
The fur all over the human wolverine’s body begins to burn. The strong metal string is crawling with lots of lightning bolts. The lighting strikes the ground. The lightning shocks Horror too, but he’s not being burned by it. The lightning bolts start shocking underground.
“Give life to my army!” shouts Horror.
The lighting is still shocking the human wolverine. The human wolverine roars in pain.
Lightning is everywhere in the tower. The human wolverine roars in pain as the lightning shocks him all over his body, roaring as loud as he can.
The human wolverine can feel his heart pounding very fast like a hummingbird’s heart. The human wolverine would never beg for death, but this time he might make an exception. Horror is looking forward to hearing the human wolverine’s begging.
“Please, don’t d-do t-this,” whispers the human wolverine.
Horror shakes his head and chuckles a little.
The wind starts to blow very hard again. The blades of grass on the green meadow start to bend with the wind. The dark clouds roll over us again. They are forming into another whirlpool in the sky. The whirlpool begins to get worse. It begins to turn into a cyclone. Then that cyclone turns into a tornado. And we are right under it. Tigeron grabs Megan and me. His eyes spot a large rock, with a tiny hole in the middle to peek through. Tigeron runs behind the rock and drops us both.
Megan and I stare at the tornado as it begins to twist and turn. The tornado looks very skinny but is still very dangerous. Lightning strikes inside it.
“Is that normal?” asks Megan.
I roll my eyes. “Megan, nothing is normal here in this new world. I mean anything can happen here,” I answer.
Tigeron stares at the lightning tornado from behind the large rock.
“It depends on the word anything. Things just don’t happen for no reason. They don’t just happen like…” he snaps his fingers.
“Like that fast, it takes time and patience for things to happen. Even for the impossible things,” says Tigeron.
“Well if that’s happening for a reason, then what reason?” I point at the skinny tornado.
Tigeron thinks for a moment. “That happened many years ago before the war of Azent,” says Tigeron.
“Why would it happen again?” I ask.
Tigeron lifts his shoulders. He seems like he does not know. A loud terrible scream echoes from the lightning tornado. Megan points at it. “Someone’s out there!” shouts Megan.
Tigeron hears the screaming too as his tiger ears wiggle. “That scream sounds very familiar,” says Tigeron.
Tigeron’s hands shake. He looks like he’s stone-cold with fear, he does not even blink. He starts to pant very roughly. I turn to Tigeron and notice that he is shaking a little.
“Tigeron, are you ok?” I ask.
But Tigeron does not answer me. He just stares at the skinny lightning tornado, shaking in fear.
“Tigeron!” I shout to get his attention.
But still, he does not look away. The tornado slowly fades back into the sky and the blue sky slowly appears. All is calm. I am still waiting for an answer from Tigeron.
Megan picks up a rock and throws it at Tigeron’s head. “Owe!” Tigeron rubs his head. “What was that for?” asks Tigeron.
“You were paralyzed. You looked very scared,” answers Megan.
“I was not. I-I w-was s-simply…uh,” stutters Tigeron.
He rubs his head. I fold my arms and wait for Tigeron’s response.
“I was staring at the lightning tornado,” chuckles Tigeron.
“Tigeron, you were shaking in fear. You were paralyzed,” I say.
Tigeron sighs and sits down on the grassy field. “Sit down please and I will explain my behavior,” he insists.
Megan and I sit by Tigeron and listen to him.
“The truth is… the outside world makes me nervous,” says Tigeron.
His response surprises me. “Tigeron you never told us that you were brave. You just insisted that you come with us. And when we asked you to join our quest you said that you would be honored. That was a choice that you and you alone made. You didn’t have to come with us. You choose to come. You never said that you were scared of anything before. Now that we see that you are scared of some things, I’m glad that you are being honest with us,” I say.
“Did I say that I was scared of anything?” asks Tigeron.
“No, you didn’t, you said you were nervous. So you don’t need to prove anything to us. Just be our guide and prove to Rormen that you can be a great warrior. At least that’s what Megan says, right?” I turn to Megan.
Megan nods. Tigeron gets up and grunts.
Tigeron looks up at the blue sky. “Looks like the storm is gone and the scream is gone too,” says Tigeron.
“Shall we continue?” I ask.
Tigeron continues to walk into the grassy meadow. Megan and I follow him.
The human wolverine in the tower is now burned by lightning. His white bones now lie on the ground with no fur at all. The lightning storm has stopped. Horror looks at the white burnt skeleton of the human wolverine.
“He looks just like me,” chuckles Horror.
Horror picks up the skeleton head of the human wolverine and plays with it like a puppet. He mocks and laughs, then drops the skeleton head.
“And now for my army!” shouts Horror.
Horror walks out and to the back of the sacrifice tower, where a graveyard of thousands of the bones of human soldiers and servants are buried near the surface of the ground. Horror walks to a gravestone that has words on it.
“General Dread, too long have they slept,” says Horror.
Horror raises his head. “Life to give,” he whispers.
Horror points at the gravestone of General Dread. “Life to give,” whispers Horror.
The skeletons in the ground start to move a little. They crawl and slither out of the dirt.
“Come…come…come to my soldiers!” shouts Horror.
The skeletons crawl and dig their way out of the dirt. They scream and grunt as they crawl. Horror watches as his army slowly comes out of the dirt. He shakes his head and rolls his eyes, he feels very impatient.
“You guys are very slow,” groans Horror.
Then he laughs maniacally. “This is so exciting!” chuckles Horror.
The undead skeleton army stands on the ground and turns to Horror. The skeletons are very dirty, their weapons are rusty, their armor is rusted, and most of the skeletons don’t even have their heads, arms, or eyes.
“My army!” shouts Horror.
Horror looks around to see if he can find General Dread from the gravestone. “General Dread!” shouts Horror.
General Dread leaps out of the dirty ground and lands right in front of Horror. General Dread has black armor all over his body, and even on his fingers, he has all sorts of weapons: knives, swords, daggers, and axes. His armor is shiny like oil. It looks similar to a samurai’s armor. The weapons are behind his back. General Dread stares at Horror.
“Are you ready for war?” asks Horror.
“Yes,” answers General Dread with a scary and deep voice.
“And what are you going to do?” asks Horror.
General Dread pulls out his giant wide long sword and raises it in the air.
“Get Feeon’s head!” screams General Dread.
All of the other undead skeletons scream for war and raise their swords. Horror screams along with his army. His mouth is wide open. Thunder shakes the ground and bright lighting strikes the undead army.
