Late at night, where the Mana powered hover cars moved busily on the roads, and numerous aircrafts passed through the brightly lit city, Terron was flying in the sky, invisible, while looking down at the city below as he observed the mortals go on with their lives, mortals who were oblivious to the disaster that almost befell on them. He then sighed and flapped his wings, heading towards his next destination.
His next prey…
As Terron flew in the sky, he took out the sword that the last Alien left behind. Its blade was dark as obsidian and its handle felt cool to the touch. And as Terron continued to stare at it, he couldn't help but think about how fascinating it was. The sword itself was quite primitive, if he had to be honest, but the material it was made of….
A metal that absorbs energy and makes itself stronger.
"Truly fascinating…"
Terron muttered to himself as he stopped and tore the space in front of him, opening a small crack, radiating purple light. He then stashed the sword in the crack and continued flying, grinning at the thought of what kind of weapon he would be able to make with that material.
And so, just like that, Terron continued to soar into the air, passing through the city's borders and flew just right above a forest of Redwood Trees outside. He then closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he expanded his senses. And then, he sensed something, making him stop and immediately fly east as quickly as he could. And when Terron arrived at his destination, he was greeted by a horrendous sight.
Human limbs, dismembered and crushed, corpses of men, women and children, ripped to pieces, and small, wooden huts, breaking down as fires raged inside them. Any normal human would have probably been repulsed by seeing this sight, disgusted even.
But Terron was not normal, nor was he human. So as his eyes analyzed what was in front of him, all he did was let out a single word.
"Huh…"
His eyes then darted away from the carnage when he noticed tracks, leading deeper into the forest. He then flew over and followed the tracks closely, as he hovered just a few feet away from the ground, and wondered just how many of these Aliens would he face once he reached the end of these tracks.
Tens of them?
Hundreds?
Thousands?
Terron didn't have to wait for long, however, for the tracks finally came to a stop, making him stop flying and place his feet deeply into the ground, and muttered,
"To be honest… I don't really know why I said all of that to my juniors earlier… 'clean up what's left'... I guess I just wanted to look cool in front of them…"
Terron took out his sword as ash colored flames surged from chest towards his arms. He then raised his head and grinned as he watched hundreds of Aliens, staring down at him as they hung on the trees. He then said,
"So why don't you guys do me a favor and help me become a cool senior to them?"

Five minutes later.
Terron was once again flying over the forest, quickly heading towards his next destination. And as he flew, he couldn't help but think about how troublesome hunting down the rest of these Aliens was going to be, making him curse inside his head, as he flapped his wings even faster.
Terron then took out his blood stained sword and tore a crack in space, and stashed it in there. He then inserted his hand deep into the crack and pulled out the Alien's sword he stashed earlier, making him grin.
"It'd be best if I used this from now on…"
He muttered to himself as he continued to soar into the sky, with a Greatsword in his hands, and ash colored flames trailing behind him.

In a room where there was only a single bulb lighting it up, five men with blue skin and horns on their heads, stood around a wooden table as they talked among themselves.
"We can't keep hiding like this!"
One of the men yelled as he slammed his fist on the table, making it explode into pieces. He then glared at the rest of the people in the room and growled as he said,
"A hundred f*cking years… we've been hiding for a hundred, f*cking years…! And now look at us! Reduced into vermin…! Into insects..! Cowering from those bird winged bastards..!"
The man then stepped back and breathed deeply to calm himself down and continued,
"Something has to change… we need to fight back… we need to rally our troops! Reorganize our army! And put those bastards into their rightful place!"
The man looked at his colleagues to see what they thought of his idea, only to be disappointed when he noticed that they weren't really all that convinced. The man was going to berate his colleagues when he suddenly noticed something. He looked all around the room and became concerned when he noticed it was completely drained of color. He then heard a voice from outside.
"Bloom— [ Holy Flame ]."
And before the man could do anything, a torrent of flames swept through the entire room, incinerating everyone. The entire room then caught aflame, making the fire spread out as it raged until the entire building was reduced to ashes.
"Insects indeed…"
Lucifer said so as he looked at the ashes being carried by the wind. He then shifted his gaze into the distance, towards the city, where he saw multiple fires breaking out. He also saw Michael, fighting numerous Aliens with bat-like wings, with his sword ignited by his Holy Flame. His eyes lingered on Michael for a while, before he sent out a telepathic command to every Angel in the city.
"Move to the next city. The hunt continues."

Up north, where there were mountains that reached the clouds and snow fell everyday, Terron was sitting on a rock as he stabbed his sword deeply into the snowy ground. He turned his head and looked behind him, observing the gigantic head of an Alien he just killed, making him mutter,
"Fascinating, isn't it? The more time passes, the more we see these beings… mutate and change…"
Terron then looked in front of him, at the man walking his way, and pointed at the giant head with his thumb as he said with a smile on his face,
"This thing right here? It had organic Thermal Cores inside of its body to keep itself heated in this environment…. Can you believe it..?! It evolved into making organic Thermal Cores for itself..! Do you realize how amazing that is…?!"
Not caring about what Terron said, the man finally arrived in front of him, and with his four pairs of wings unfolded, the man said with a serious expression on his face,
"We need your help."
Terron only grinned, however, as he leaned his body back and rested it on the giant head behind him. He then looked at the man in the eyes as he twirled his fingers around, playing with the tiny sparks of ashen flame he conjured. He then said with a toothy smirk on his face,
"Please do tell me what you need assistance with, my dear little brother…"
The man, Huron, unamused, glared at Terron as he kept an aloof expression on his face. He then said,
"We found what we believe to be the last Alien, but he's too powerful for me to kill by myself… Well… too powerful for me to kill without destroying the planet…"
Terron, confused at the way his brother was acting, tilted his head as he looked at his Huron. He then scratched the back of his head and asked,
"Are 'they' watching?"
Huron didn't say anything, he simply nodded his head and waited for Terron's reply to his request. Terron then sighed as he looked up to the brightly lit sky and raised his hand to show his middle finger. He then looked at Huron and said,
"Fine, I'll help you. Where do we have to go?"
Huron sighed in relief, glad that his brother accepted the request without making a fuss, he then replied,
"To the Kingdom of Petrichor."

Noon, where a sun as red as blood, hung above the sky, shining its light to the world below, a four year old girl was running around in the hot, barren land.
The little girl wore a little hat atop her head, protecting her from the heat, and while the place they were on was basically a barren wasteland that had absolutely nothing in it, the girl remained joyful as she ran around, chasing the aeolian wind.
The girl then ran towards the single, lone tree in the area, where she saw her mother, sitting in the shade. Her eyes beamed when she saw her mom, and with a bright smile on her face, she yelled,
"Mom..! Dad said lunch is ready..!"
The little girl's mother, hearing her words, smiled as she slowly got up from her makeshift chair and walked towards her daughter. She saw her daughter run up to her and stop, only to grab her by the hand, pulling her towards their little cottage.
While the two mortals were heading towards their home, however, a pair of brothers were hovering in the sky, directly above them. Feeling skeptical, Terron, with his sword in his hands, turned his head towards his brother and asked,
"Them? Really?"
Huron only nodded in response, making Terron snort as he watched the little humans reach the door of their little cottage. He then said,
"I guess today's the day the hunt finally ends."
