Ocean braced herself for what she thought was going to be a fight as she heard the footsteps getting louder and louder. And after a while, when the men finally revealed themselves, she was prepared to dash towards them, when her gaze landed towards their faces.
The men's faces suddenly warped and twisted. Cracks were then formed on their faces and immediately started rotating, fixing themselves to form a complex, circular grid, where all the lines lead to a circular doorway, as dark as the endless void itself, in the center.
Ocean felt like a thousand needles were piercing into her brain the longer she stared at what was in front of her, but no matter how hard she tried, for some reason, she couldn't take her eyes away from them.
Until finally, the pain became too intense and unbearable for her, making her vision slowly get darker and darker as she lost her consciousness and fell to the ground.

Noticing the fierce look of the woman in front of him, Ragnar quickly pulled out his Ax, preparing himself for a battle. What was strange though was what happened next. The woman's entire body suddenly shook as she started backing away from him. A stream of blood then came out of her nose before she fell on the ground and lost consciousness.
Not quite sure about what he just witnessed, Ragnar turned to look at his brother, wondering if he understood what they just saw, only to realize that he too wasn't quite sure as to what happened.
Their thoughts were cut short, however, when they suddenly heard the sound of heavy footsteps behind them. Deciding not to think about the woman anymore, Ragnar once more grabbed his brother by the hand and was about to go deeper in the cave, when he suddenly felt Kravah, his brother, resisting his pull. Rangar then yelled furiously as he asked,
"What are you doing?! Let's go..!!"
Kravah solemnly looked at Rangar in the eyes, and with a weak voice, he said,
"We can't leave her, brother… You know what they'll do to her once they capture a woman like her…"
"And you know whatever happens to her is none of our business..!! So stop resisting and let's go..!!"
Ragnar urgently yelled back in response, still trying to pull his stubborn brother deeper into the cave. Kravah was extremely hard headed, however, and pulled his hand away from his brother and approached the unconscious woman. He then lifted her on his shoulders and went back to his brother. He then said,
"Let's go."
"Tsk..!!"
Ragnar clicked his tongue in discontent as he looked at the woman on Kravah's shoulders. Realizing he wouldn't be able to change his brother's mind, he turned to look deeper into the cave tunnels and started running.

On a mountain nearby to where Ocean was camping, Terron yawned as he watched Ocean being carried by a man who was running deep into the cave tunnels. He was wondering what Metatron meant when he said Ocean wouldn't be able to come back to society so early, until he saw what happened to her when she laid her eyes on the two men…
To lose her consciousness like that by just looking at peoples faces…
The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Terron could finally understand why Metatron told him to send her off to the Northern Mountains, where the population of humans was scarce. Even then, he still couldn't quite understand what happened. As to why Ocean suddenly lost control of her body and passed out…
"I need to ask Metatron later…"
Terron muttered to himself as he watched tens of warriors, clad in Dark Iron armor, charged inside the cave, chasing the men that were carrying Ocean. Quickly coming to the conclusion that Ocean would be doomed at this rate, he couldn't help but let out a deep sigh as he unfurled his wings. He then said,
"Time to be a good Guardian Angel…"

Ragnar quickly ran through the tunnels as his yellow, beastly eyes glowed intensely, helping him navigate in the dark. But even with the incredibly quick pace they were running at, he still remained anxious because of the ever increasing sound of the heavy footsteps of their pursuers.
As Ragnar continued to run in the dark and narrow cave tunnels, however, he suddenly heard the sound of something dropping into the ground. He turned his head to see where the sound came from, only to be shocked when he saw the fallen Kravah.
Immediately coming to halt, Ragnar quickly approached Kravah and lifted the woman off his back. He then grabbed him by the shoulder and said as he slowly lifted him up,
"What are you doing, brother? You need to continue running. This cave is no place for the great Kravah Warfang to die…"
Hearing this, Kravah chuckled as he tightly held onto his brothers arm as he replied,
"Aye… you're right… but it is a good place to fight and make sure my brother lives…"
Wide eyed, Ragnar was about to say something but was interrupted once Kravah raised his frostbitten arm. Kravah, with a serious look on his face, then said,
"Survive brother and let all tribes in the North remember why we were once called the Monarchs of the North…"
Kravah then shifted his gaze towards the unconscious woman and continued,
"And make sure to take her in… I don't know what kind of life she has lived here so far, but I do know this… she needs your help… so help her, brother… just like you helped Khan…"
Gritting his teeth, Ragnar simply nodded his head as he gave his Ax to his brother. He then helped his brother stand up for one last time before turning around to pick up the unconscious woman. He then said,
"May we meet again in the glorious afterlife, brother."
After saying so, Ragnar ran deeper into the tunnels while he carried the woman on his back, leaving Kravah all alone. Kravah tightly held onto the handle of his Ax as he waited for his pursuers to arrive. And when he saw tens of men, wearing Dark Iron armor charging towards him on the other side of the tunnel, he let out a furious yell,
"Come, you savages..!! And taste the steel of the mighty Kravah Warfang..!!"
Kravah, without hesitation, then sprinted towards his enemies with his Ax raised above his head and slammed it directly towards the nearest target, splitting his head in two.

Inside the cave tunnel where Kravah was fighting.
"Suggestive thoughts never fail me, huh…"
Terron said to himself as he watched Kravah fight off his enemies with whatever power he had left in him. He couldn't help but let out a small laugh, however, because of how easy this mission seemed to be.
All he did was literally place a thought into Kravah's mind to make him sacrifice himself and make his brother leave with Ocean.
If this was all it took to be Ocean's Guardian Angel…. Terron wasn't even sure what he was so worried about before…
His thoughts were cut off, however, when he saw a sword piercing through Kravah's chest, quickly ending his life. Terron was honestly quite impressed with Kravah's performance. To fight on even with his heavily injured state. It was truly worth his commendation.
Sadly, the fight ended too quickly for his liking and it seemed like the warriors in Dark Iron Armor were already getting ready to pursue Ragnar and Ocean.
Too lazy to think of discrete ways to help Ocean get out of this predicament, Terron decided to make things more simple for him and stabbed his sword into the tunnel's ceiling, making it crack and break down, blocking the path.
Terron suddenly slapped his face however and sighed as he said,
"I should have just done this earlier…."
He then looked at the unmoving corpse of Kravah Warfang with eyes full of pity, before stretching his hand out towards his dead body. And with a simple pull, Terron instantly pulled out Kravah's soul, which was in the form of a small blue orb of light.
"I should definitely sleep after this…"

Rangar ran once more.
He passed through the dark and narrow tunnels while his nose twitched continuously, as he tried to find a way out of the tunnels using his keen sense of smell.
After a few minutes of searching, the scent of fresh leaves finally entered his nose and without hesitation, he immediately followed the scent's trail until he finally found himself outside. The snowy lands of the Northern Mountains greeted his sight and felt a short moment of relief. The relief immediately turned to grief, however, once he remembered that his brother would no longer be fighting with him in the mortal world.
Tears were threatening to burst out from his eyes, but he forcibly held them in, as he remembered the saying of every Tribe Chieftain before him and said to himself,
"The leader of the pack should never show weakness…."
He then felt movement on his back, prompting him to turn his head and saw the unknown woman, slowly gaining her consciousness.
