"Terron."
Lucifer muttered as he shifted his gaze below, his eyes lingering on the man standing next to Michael. His eyes couldn't stray for long, however, when he sensed the Alien's sword heading towards his head, forcing him to duck, evading the attack. He then flapped his wings hard, creating some distance between him and the Alien once again. Lucifer's eyes narrowed as he glared at the being in front of him, who now had a pair of blue, bat-like wings on its back.
Lucifer thought It was weird.
The more their weapons clashed, the weaker he started to feel, making him hesitate using his sword. For a quick second, he thought about what to do, and immediately coming to a decision, Lucifer immediately roused up the Holy Power within him. White flames surged from his chest towards his arms, and with his arms stretched out towards the Alien, he muttered,
"Bloom— [ Holy Flame ]."
Immediately after, a torrent of flames shot out from Lucifer's hands, hitting the Alien directly in the chest. The Alien screamed in pain as it felt its skin burn from the holy flames of Heaven. It stayed strong, however, and using its sword, it cut right through the torrent of flames, dispelling it immediately.
Dumbfounded, Lucifer stared at the Alien with wide eyes, shocked at how easily his flames were extinguished. Not missing this chance, the Alien immediately rushed towards Lucifer, and with its sword glowing in blue light, the Alien stabbed Lucifer in the stomach.
Lucifer grunted as he felt the cold, hard blade of the Alien's sword, penetrating through his belly. Blood spurted from his orifices as he felt unknown energy, coursing through his veins, destroying his internal organs.
Michael, seeing this, looked towards the man beside him, and with tears in his eyes, he desperately pleaded,
"Help Lucifer, please!"
Looking at Michael, Terron merely grinned and chuckled as he replied,
"No."
He raised his head and watched as Lucifer was being impaled by the Alien's blade and continued,
"This will be a nice learning experience for him."
Infuriated, Michael was about to say something to Terron, when he suddenly heard a telepathic message coming from Azrael. He then looked into the distance where he saw his fellow Angels, struggling to exterminate the rest of the Aliens, making him grit his teeth as he looked towards Terron and said,
"Please… just don't let him die…"
Michael then flapped his wings as he soared into the air, heading towards his comrades. While Terron, still keeping his eye on the fight above, unsheathed his sword as he muttered to himself,
"So which will it be, Lucifer? Your life? Or your pride?"

Lucifer, with blood literally streaming from his eyes, gritted his teeth as he swung his sword towards the Alien's neck. The blade glowed with feiry light as it reached the Alien's nape, making it grunt in pain. The Alien endured, however, and held tightly onto it's sword.
Stuck in a stalemate, the both of them locked eyes as they glared at each other while they continued to bleed streams of blood. The Alien had enough of it, however, and with a grunt, it pulled its sword back and retreated, leaving a gaping hole in Lucifer's belly.

Blood continued to stream from his orifices, as Lucifer floated in the air with his mouth agape. Finally growing weak and fatigued, his wings stopped flapping, making him fall towards the ground. And as Lucifer felt himself falling, numerous thoughts crossed his mind…
It was not suppose to be like this…
This should've been easy…
They were only insects…
I… will not die…
I will… not… fall—
"Shut up."
Lucifer suddenly heard someone's voice as he felt his body being cradled. He then moved his head to get a better look at the person that saved him, only to curse inside his mind when he realized who this person was.
"Millions of years have passed and you're still the same, Lucifer."
Terron turned his gaze towards his surroundings and watched as the rest of Angels struggled as they fought the horde of the Aliens.
"To spread your forces out this much… truly idiotic…"
He then shifted his gaze towards Michael, who was fighting tens of enemies at the same time, trying his best to help his colleagues, and making sure they didn't suffer any casualties.
"You have a pretty good junior though…"
Terron then clicked his tongue as he observed Lucifer's current state and continued,
"But to think you actually thought it would be a good idea to face all of these enemies by yourself…."
He then raised his head and locked eyes with the Alien that defeated Lucifer and with ash colored flames surging through his body, he said,
"Remember this, Lucifer."
A gray, holy light then surrounded Terron's body and a halo of swords manifested on top of his head, he then looked at Lucifer in the eyes and glared as he said,
"Your pride and arrogance will be the cause of your downfall."

Michael swung his sword.
With his blade radiating holy light, he cut, stabbed, and dismembered every single enemy in his way. Numerous injuries continued to pile up on his body the longer he fought, making him grunt in pain every time he swung his sword. He remained strong, however, and endured. And just like that, he fought, and fought, and fought, constantly expending his energy reserves and slowly growing exhausted. He was about to swing his sword once more, when he suddenly heard a soft whisper in his ear.
"Lunox. Lux. Luminous."
And then, from the corner of Michael's vision, he saw an explosion of gray light. He turned his head towards the source and his eyes widened in shock. The light was as beautiful as it was destructive, mesmerizing not only Michael, but all the other Angels and Aliens in the area as well. The light then continued to expand outwards, destroying everything it touched, leaving absolutely nothing behind.
"The Ashen Flame…."
Michael muttered unknowingly as he continued to stare at the light that consumed everything it touched. He quickly snapped out of it, however, when he noticed the light coming their way. He then yelled out a command,
"Barriers, now!"
Hearing the Michael's command, the Angels snapped out of their daze, and hurriedly roused up their Holy Power. While the Alien's, still dazed, continued to stand where they were, unmoving. And so, when the light finally reached them, the Angels were surprised, noticing how they were unaffected by the light's destructiveness.
Michael then heard a small shriek of pain, making him turn his head to where the sound came from, only to see the Aliens get completely incinerated by the light. He was not surprised unlike the others, however, for he knew who the cause of this grand spectacle was.
"Terron…"
* * *
Nothing was left.
In a place where there used to be numerous buildings and fallen debris, there was nothing left, but a vast, open plain of rough dirt. And in the middle of it all, Terron stood with an injured Lucifer by his side. Lucifer turned towards Terron as he looked at him with a blank look on his face. His emotions were running wild as he looked at his surroundings and thought back to what he just witnessed.
From the palm of Terron's hand, he conjured a small ball of light, and when he whispered his chant, it bloomed, enlarged, and grew into a massive explosion, consuming everything it touched.
Except one.
The leader of the Aliens, now full of injuries, still stood. One of it's arms was gone while the other tightly held onto its sword. Its skin was now red from all the burns it suffered, while one of its eyes caught on fire. But the Alien didn't even bother putting out the fire, however, and just glared at Terron.
A small slit then opened slightly above the Alien's jaw, forming a little mouth for itself. It was about to say something, but before it could, however, Terron declared,
"Die."
Immediately after, from the skies above, an ashen colored, pillar of light fell directly on the Alien, scorching it, burning it, and incinerating it until absolutely nothing was left behind. The Alien didn't even have the time to let out a single cry, as it existence was completely wiped away almost instantly. And so, when the light subsided, all the other Angels could only look at Terron in awe and terror.
They were amazed, truly. But when they thought about what would happen if they made Terron their enemy…
Everyone shuddered at the thought.
Terron then clapped his hands, capturing everyone's attention, and with a smile on his face, he jovially said,
"Alright everyone~! That's it~!"
He unsheathed his sword sword, folded his wings, a dispelled his crown of swords and continued,
"You can all go home now! I'll stay and clean up what's left."
Lucifer, still injured, coughed up blood as he asked,
"What do you mean 'clean up what's left'? You already wiped them all out."
Terron smirked and pointed somewhere, making Lucifer turn his head, only to see Michael rushing to their location. Michael then exclaimed when he arrived,
"More of them have breached the atmosphere! They've landed all over the world!"
Lucifer, hearing those words, looked at Terron, wondering how he knew of their presence. Terron simply shrugged, however, and grinned once more as they looked at each other. But Terron's face then shifted to one of seriousness, as he unfolded his wings and said,
"Go back to Heaven so you can recover from your injuries. I'll take care of the rest."
Lucifer, having no words to say in response, simply nodded as he sent a telepathic order to everyone to retreat. The Angels then unfolded their wings as every single one of them rose to the sky, towards Heaven.
Michael then came to Lucifer's side and supported him as they both slowly made their way up to the sky. He then stopped, looked at Terron below, and bowed his head as he mouthed the words,
'Thank you.'
Terron, now left alone, sat on the ground as he stared at the sky where the Angels retreated and muttered to himself,
"God… your children… they're doomed…"
