In the distant past where the Earth was nothing more than a barren wasteland, a world where ashes and fire rained from the sky, a man asked,
"God, Creator of All, I ask you…."
The man hesitated as he raised his head and stared at the heavens. He then shook his head, making up his mind, and continued,
"Why must I suffer?"
For a moment, there was only silence. Like the concept of sound was completely gone from the world, the man could not hear anything except his own heartbeat.
The man's heart raced as he waited for The Creator's answer. Anxious, sweat started to drip from his forehead as he counted every beat of his heart, while he stood there, patiently waiting for a reply.
And just like that, days passed, then weeks, and then years….
The man stood there, all this time, while his body continued to burn from the flames around him, slowly scorching his skin, as he continued to wait for the voice of God.
Until finally, after a hundred years of waiting, where his Psyche was close to breaking, and where his body was close to crumbling, the man heard a voice inside his head.
"Survive and you shall know, Terron."

Earth - Year 20,568,493
On top of a skyscraper, overlooking the city below, two men sat together on the railings as they watched the people walk around and live their daily lives.
Their white cloaks swayed in the wind as a strong breeze passed by, making one of the men shiver as he looked down at the city below, and said,
"They're coming, Lucifer."
Lucifer, hearing his colleagues' words, looked towards the far distance, into the horizon, where the sun was slowly setting. He raised his head, looked at the sky, and saw a falling asteroid, heading towards them.
"You don't have to tell me, Michael."
Lucifer said so with a grin on his face, as he roused up the Holy Power within him.
"I'll set up the [Domain] now."
And with his hands glowing with a golden light, he waved it into the air, draining all the color in the world, turning everything into black and white and silencing the once bustling city.
Now isolated from the outside world, the two men, Lucifer and Michael, stood up from the railing and summoned their swords. A bright, white light radiated from their weapons, making them look holy and majestic, like the sons of God they were.
Three pairs of white, bird-like wings then sprouted from their back, as they continued to wait for the asteroid's arrival. Lucifer then turned his head towards Michael and gave his command,
"Tell the other Angels to surround the area and make sure none of these insects escape."
Michael simply nodded in response, as he closed his eyes and sent a telepathic message to every Angel nearby. He wondered though, if this was really fine. To send all the other Angels guard the perimeter, while only the two of them fought the incoming enemies….

It seemed too dangerous.
Michael couldn't continue his thoughts, however, because he saw Lucifer suddenly jumping off the Skyscraper. Lucifer's wings spread themselves wide as he fell, gliding as he slowly landed on the ground. His eyes narrowed as he glared at the incoming asteroid and raised his sword. He then uttered the sacred prayer,
"O God, Creator of All, the most divine of all divine beings, grant this child your power—"
Lucifer's entire body glowed in a golden light, as he felt the power of God fill his heavenly body. Power surged throughout his veins, filling his entire body with energy, making him ecstatic as he finished his spell.
"—fill him with strength, grant his desire, and help him burn his enemies to ashes…!"
Immediately after, starting from the tip of his sword, a wide beam of golden light shot out towards the incoming asteroid. It shone brightly, completely illuminating the entire city, making all the other Angels shield their eyes, afraid of getting blinded by [Lucifer's Holy Light].
And when the light subsided and everyone was finally able to open their eyes, they saw the asteroid, now only a third of its size before, falling towards the city. The Angels then watched in awe as Lucifer jumped to the skies and flew rapidly towards the asteroid as he brandished his sword. And with his blade radiating a bright, golden light, he swung his weapon.
The asteroid was then consumed completely by [Lucifer's Holy Light], leaving nothing but ashes behind. Lucifer then muttered to himself as he watched the ashes get blown away by the wind.
"That was surprisingly easy…"
Right after he said that, however, he suddenly heard Michael's cry behind him,
"Lucifer..! Multiple asteroids just breached the atmosphere..! More of them are coming..!"
Any other person might tense up after hearing the news of incoming enemy reinforcements, Lucifer, however, only grinned as he chuckled, saying,
"Then that just means more enemies for me to burn…"
Lucifer then looked up and saw tens of asteroids coming his way, making him grin as he roused up his Holy Power once more. A golden halo then appeared on top of his head, and armor, as white as white as snow, manifested around his body.
Lucifer, now radiating his own Holy Light, turned his gaze towards the colorless sky, and let out a crazed yell,
"Come..! Enemies of God..!"

The asteroids landed on the city and destroyed everything upon impact. The buildings collapsed and the ground caved in, creating multiple craters within the city. Lucifer's [Domain] remained strong, however, preventing any of the damage from actually affecting the real world.
Azrael, one of the Angels guarding the perimeter, watched as Lucifer massacred the Aliens that dared invade Earth. He was repulsed by them, honestly, by the Alien's appearance.
The Invaders were humanoid in shape, with reflective, dark-bluish skin and had a cluster of lights on their chests, pulsing continuously. Their heads, however, did not resemble a human's. It was hard for Ezreal to describe, but one noticeable feature their heads had were a pair of short horns and slanted eyes, radiating blue light—
Ezrael's thoughts were cut short when he suddenly saw another asteroid, one bigger than before, falling towards Lucifer. Lucifer, too busy with massacring tens of Aliens at the same time, didn't notice it, however, forcing Michael to make a move.
Michael flapped his wings as fast as he could, positioning himself between Lucifer and the asteroid. Hurriedly, he roused up his Holy Power and tried to summon a barrier, but it was too late. The asteroid hurled itself towards Michael, finally making Lucifer notice the meteorite heading towards him.
Lucifer simply grinned, however, manipulated his Holy Power, and quickly pulled Michael towards him. And with his arm stretched out and his hand wide open, he conjured a barrier, radiating golden light, around himself.
And when the asteroid made contact with his barrier, it burned under Lucifer's [Holy Light], leaving nothing but ashes, forcing the Aliens inside to quickly jump off and retreat….
Except one.
An Alien, one that was three times bigger than the rest, stood in front of Lucifer, as it glared at him with its blue, glowing eyes. On its hand was a Great Sword, emitting a dangerous, blue aura, making Michael step back when he laid his eyes on it.
Lucifer, however, did not care about his opponent at all. To him, the entity in front of him was just a slightly bigger insect. A bigger target to burn. So with his hands tightly gripping his sword, he thrusted forward. His opponent simply took the blow though, enduring the pain of his scorching skin, and raised his sword up into the air.
Lucifer, wide eyed, watched in shock as the Alien's sword fell towards him. He quickly snapped out of it however, and flapped his wings, instantly creating distance between him and the Alien.
But Lucifer's eyes widened once more when he realized the target of the enemy's blade wasn't him, but Michael…
"Kuckk…!"
A stream of white blood gushed out from Michael's shoulder, as the Alien's sword continued to dig deeper into his flesh. His vision started to slowly fade as he felt all the energy inside him get siphoned away by the Alien's sword, but just as Michael's vision turned dark, he heard a scream of rage behind him. He then felt an extreme heatwave pass by, and the Alien's sword being pulled away from his shoulder. Michael then felt a hand on his back, and heard a voice behind him.
"Michael."
"L-Luci.. fer..?"
Michael struggled to say a word as he tried his best to open his eyes. His efforts proved to be in vain, however, as no matter how hard he tried, his vision remained dark as the void itself. He then felt someone's rough and charred hand on his eyes, and felt a sudden rush of warmth, spreading throughout his body.
Michael's eyes blinked multiple times as he slowly raised himself. He then turned his back, hoping to thank the person that healed him, but was surprised to see an unfamiliar face. The man had a light smile on his face as he replied,
"No, I am not Lucifer."
The man pointed up towards the sky, where Lucifer was busy battling it out with what seemed to be the Alien's leader. He then continued,
"Though my name might be something you've already heard of before…"
Three pairs of black wings then sprouted behind the man, as Ashen colored flames surged through his right arm. And with a grin on his face, he said,
"Terron."
