"Come on! Arch you have 300 more, you can do it! I believe in you."

The person shouting at Jason was a short curly-haired guy about 17 years old. His name was Charlie and he was the leader of the blue 2 squad.

For some reason, Jason was told to join the blue barrack. The person in charge was also confused and said that most recruits got to chose which barrack to go to. But since it was a direct order from the higher-ups he just followed the command.

Jason didn't care as he would have chosen the blue barrack anyways.  He joined his new teammates in training and they were drilling Jason on the basic exercises.

The exercises ranged from pushups which he was doing, to punching what seemed to be a magical punching bag that told you how hard you punched. Everything was graded on F-S and Jason graded an F on everything from how many pushups he could do to the small number he put on the magical punching bag.

It was miserable, but for some reason, there was no ridicule or any type of shaming. Instead, some of them even encouraged him like the leader of the squad he was in Charlie.

Charlie was like the big brother of the small squad of 5 and was somebody everyone respected even with his small stature. Jason peered at his status only to find that he was level 80, 10-20levels higher than any of the other recruits in the gym.

More thoughts were running in Jason's head but his muscles started to spasm and give out. Leaving Jason on the floor gasping for breath.

A strong set of arms picked him up. Jason weakly turned his head to see a red-haired man helping him up. He was Colby a silent person who would quietly help and support anyone in need, like the fallen Jason.

After seeing that he couldn't move any part of his body properly Colby diligently carried Jason to the blue barrack and let him wash up and catch some sleep.

While Jason was weakly getting ready to sleep and then subsequently log out, Colby walked back to where Charlie and the rest of the Blue 2 team were waiting. When Colby came in, the small meeting started.

Charlie started addressing the team members sitting with him

"Okay, so from what we have observed, Arch is a weak teammate."

Before Colby stood up in defiance, he finished

"but he has the potential to be great."

The youngest of the group Lyle stood up

"I know that he's got potential but red's not going to give him a good time"

The last two people of the squad Mark and Ethan discussed among themselves. They were twins Mark had blond hair and a slight mischievous grin on his face, Ethan had chestnut colored hair and an intelligent glint in his eyes, The rest of the group let them finish talking. When Mark started talking.

"For now me and Ethan can help him out in the swordsmanship training but later he will need to prove himself."

Charlie finished up by pointing to Lyle

"great, Lyle you'll be in charge of getting Arch up to standard."

Lyle rolled his eyes but accepted begrudgingly

"yeah yeah, ill get it done"

Everyone was all smiling in anticipation for their new hopefully talented recruit when Ethan asked a sudden question

"so how's the situation outside Trandanfir?"

The atmosphere suddenly turned chilly Charlie gave an answer solemnly

"bad, there are just too many bandits all around the land. Even though economically we are stable, so none of our citizens would turn to banditry, bandits just appear out of nowhere, and even monsters are appearing ransacking villages"

He ended in a solemn mood and Mark continued

"only the territory Trandanfir and the royal capital and key ports are completely safe.  The army and rose knights are trying their best but in the end, we have just recently put in all of our resources into the navy after that incident and what we have currently are not adequate to fight off all of them."

Ethan tried to clear up to sad atmosphere he had accidentally created

"But with that being said I'm sure madam Megra will figure out a solution, she is always able to come up with a wild solution to everything. So much so that she was named the Lady of Fire after how she decimated the enemy with her fire magic."

Lyle caught on and continued

"yeah, and she has a history of bringing in the smartest and greatest heroes our country has ever seen! she truly is one of the greatest rulers of our territory"

Charlie smiled at the two's attempt to cheer them up and nodded

"yes that's right we truly are lucky to have Lady Megra as our master, I just hope that we can...."

His voice trailed off into nothingness he paused as if thinking about something and the turned to the rest. He faced them with a stern voice and intense gaze.

"well you lot have had enough of a break, run around the training field 5 more times and then head to bed"

The rest of the squad who were used to this all nodded and responded

"Yes captain"
