'I FRICKING GOT CHASED BY A GIANT MONSTER GORILLA AND FELL OF A WATERFALL WHERE WERE YOU'
'Okay Okay calm down Jason, let me give you an explanation.'
Jason started to calm himself down, giving Boops enough time to explain to Jason
' When you fell off the waterfall I was actually trying to talk to you, but the waterfall was so loud that you couldn't hear anything else, including your own thoughts and even my voice.'
"Yeah, how about the tunnel?"
Boops paused trying to think of the right words or even a good excuse. He couldn't find one so he just told him straight up.
'Jason I'm not stupid enough to interfere with a person's growth, especially yours, when you went down that tunnel I think you became more self-aware and thought things you would have never thought if I or any other thing was influencing you.'
"So you're saying I grew mentally by thinking?"
'Some people call it meditating, but yeah, you did'
"Interesting,"
'yeah, it is, whoever designed the course is very smart.'
Charlie started talking on the other side of the table to Colby
"Hey dude, do you know where the commander went?"
Colby turned his head to the almost empty table in the cafeteria where the leaders of the training center sat and then shook his head.
"no, last I heard they got deployed"
Charlie lowered his voice
"it was urgent wasn't it"
Colby looked around one more time to make sure nobody was eavesdropping
"yeah, I only heard about it because I'm related to the commander but it was something that required almost the entire knighthood to move"
Charlie went thought for a moment
"There are only three things that would have happened to make the strongest knighthood in the country move"
"Yeah, war, a catastrophe, or an internal problem that even the army couldn't beat."

Charlie looked at Colby straight in the eye
"and you don't know which one it is, huh"
Colby softly nodded his head. Charlie cradled his head thinking hard after a bit of contemplating he rose his head and told Colby in a serious voice
"We need to get the battalion out as soon as possible, and become true rose knights"
Again Colby nodded his head in affirmation and the two men left the cafeteria to deal with their own business.
Jason was having a fine time chatting with his fellow squad mates, he had learned that Mark and Ethan were actually cousins and had been working together as mercenaries until they were recruited. Lyle was the youngest son of a large noble household and had shown tremendous talent in fighting ever since a young age. The moment his talents were discovered he was immediately sent to the rose knights.
When asking about Charlie and Colby the rest of the squadmates answered that Charlie's background was a mystery. But it didn't matter to the rest of the blue 2 squad since everyone had their own secrets. Colby on the other hand, even though everyone knew that he was related to the commander thanks to the commander's loud boasting whenever his younger brother excelled, was still trying to keep his relationship under wraps.
Jason digested all of the information he had gotten from his squadmates. But before he could start asking any more questions the bell that was hanging on the top of the entrance started to be run by one of the leaders.
Everyone in the room promptly got up and started putting away all of their wooden bowls, plates, and utensils on the table next to the leader ringing the bell. Once everyone had put away everything, and cleaned up they all lined up in front of the leader.
Jason followed the crowd and under the quick tutelage of Lyle, he easily found his place in the line standing straight and tall.
During this time Jason had time to look at the leader, as that was the only thing he could do. The leader was a short man, but with his intense look and he built body he gave off the aura of somebody who had seen stuff and done even more.
With one quick nod from the leader, the entire battalion left some streamed through the exit of the cafeteria heading for the barracks, others headed for the gym on the opposite side of the exit. According to Lyle after dinner, all of the trainees had free time before curfew and lights out.
The majority of the battalion went to the gym to train more. So did the remaining members of the blue 2 squad besides Charlie and Colby.
The gym was extremely big it was much bigger than the cafeteria and it also looked much more advanced than the cafeteria. The entire battalion could easily fit in the gym with room to spare.
The 3 members of the blue two squads all went off and did their separate things. Mark and Ethan grabbed practice swords and started dueling each other. Even with Jason's untrained eye, he could see that they were equally matched with both of them struggling to get the advantage.
Lyle of the other hand also grabbed a practice sword, but he would usually walk around the entire gym challenging people from the other barracks. Sometime he would face off against a tanky red barrack trainee, or even a slim, fast, green barrack trainee. Jason noticed the smile on Lyle's face every time he fought and immediately classified Lyle as a battle junkie in his head.
But Jason wasn't going to spend all day starting at men training, he walked up to the part where the trainees were doing exercises to build their strength and stamina. His goal was to do 100 pushups 100 situps 100 squats and finally a 10km run.
Jason knew it was hard, but he was willing to do it to become the ON.. STRONGEST MAN ALIVE
He dropped to the floor in the pushup position his head facing forward, his hands shoulder-width apart.
Boops had to commentate seeing the drive-in Jason
'And this is the beginning of Jason's training montage'
