Jason approached the forest with an insane look in his eye, well insane wasn't the right way to describe, it he was "motivated". More motivated than any person in the entire group of trainees at this moment.
With his sword, he charged into the forest making loud noises as he trained his skill while baiting monsters.
The first goblin arrived, attracted by the ruckus that Jason was making. It was only one goblin and it was level 30.
Wait, wait level 30? Jason took a double-take. That was twice his level! Jason's first thought was run, but then he remembered the trainee getting catapulted through the air and stopped. It was stupid, it was idiotic, but he needed to. This was his last chance and he wasn't going to back down.
The goblin didn't see Jason as Jason had hidden in the bushes after creating the ruckus. What did he have currently that he could fight with? He started looking for anything that could help him in his battle. He still had his metal stakes with him. Wait he had his climbing skill.
He quickly turned to look for a tree that he could use. A suitable one was found, unfortunately it was behind the goblin and the only tree that Jason though he could climb easily. Bushes surrounded the entire place and Jason was crouching on the ground. With no place to go and no other way.
Jason army crawled as close as he could to the edge of the bush without the goblins seeing him. His "motivated" mind had passed and what replaced it was a cool-headed, calculating mind. He grabbed a stone of sorts and threw it as far as he could without being detected.
*clunk*
The goblin's head instantly swerved to where the pebble landed and that was when Jason stuck, or more like ran.
He dashed out with a metal spike in each hand. Taking advantage of the moment the goblin was distracted he jumped up and used precise strike on the goblin's head slamming down on the spike and then got down and used roll to dodge the swing the goblin made to fend off the attacker. Jason jumped toward the tree using his other metal spike to help him climb up.
He had just gotten to the first branch and look down to see the goblin reach out its green disfigured hand to grab Jason's dangling foot.
Jason with no other chance, kicked the goblins outreached hand away instead of letting the goblin grab it. The goblin a bit surprised that the foot actually kicked his hand away, attempted to grab again but this time Jason had climbed high enough that the Goblin couldn't reach him.
Jason had just barely reached a branch that was outside of the goblins reach. He stopped to rest while he accessed his inventory and pulled out his sword.
A goblin even though its a monster still has a humanoid figure and started to climb the tree. Jason wanted to be in this position since the goblin would have a hard time dodging any attacks and most importantly HE HAD THE HIGH GROUND.
If Jason didn't have enough things to hold off the goblin he would have been screwed but sadly for the goblin he had plenty of metal spikes. And the goblin experienced what it would be like to take a shower in metal spikes. It fell to the ground under the heavy rain of projectiles.

Suddenly it felt no more of the spikes attacking him. He laughed and got up from the ground only to see the human jumping at him with a sword in hand. The goblin didn't even have time to raise his hand and Jason enjoyed the sweet taste of victory once again.

Jason thought to himself
"Okay, so what stat do I invest in?"
boops interjected
'well is should be either stamina, agility or strength'
"Yeah, but which one?"
'well strength is mostly for fighting stamina is how long you can last and agility is speed'
"hmm well first I need to be able to survive that fall that we just saw"
'yeah, in that case, I think stamina would be good but on the other hand, in order to beat the entire course you need to have a lot of agility'
"I can train all three of those stats here but right now I can't do the agility training course because I can't handle the fall. Agility seems like its more important, yet on the chance, I fall I want to survive."
'okay a mix of stamina and agility would be good then'
"Yeah that sounds good"
Jason thought in his head
'input 5 stat points into stamina and agility'
[5 points have been placed into stamina and agility]

Boops told Jason
'yeah, for now, I think you need to keep on hunting goblins'
