Rose Household

Rose Household

The maid introduced herself as Lucy as the two were walking down the hallway.

She said to Jason in a informative tone

"Okay, for now, you are going to the training yard to learn some basic skills. If the missus herself has recruited you that means you have some significant talent."

Lenna lead Jason to a side entrance and into a large vast plain field filled with soldiers training. She then pointed him towards a knight wearing armor that had roses carved onto it.

As Jason walked to what looked like the commander he gleaned information of the troops training. The average level was level 70 and the commander was well over 200. So Jason was there, a literal level 15 noob. Surrounded by people who could probably flatten him in one hit. Jason was scared of course but on the other hand, he was excited after all he was being recruited into a high-level group. Perhaps he might get skills that only a level 50 or 60 players would learn.

Jason was now in front of the commander. He half expected the Lenna to introduce him but then noticed that she had disappeared already. Being forced to speak to the commander he started to stutter

"h-hi I'm Arch a new recruit"

Jason was a brave person, even if he was bad at talking or socializing he was brave. But he wasn't stupid talking to a level 200 NPC without being careful and nervous that was stupid. Of course,  the stutter was just Jason's mistake since he was a bit nervous.

The commander looked at Jason and gazed at him like he was evaluating him.

He laughed and spoke in a hearty voice.

"Well met Arch! I hope you can become somebody we can rely on!"

And offering his muscular hand he added

"I'm Rose knight Commander Johnson I'll in charge of all military duties of the rose household."

Jason put his hand in greeting, which dwarfed his hand

"a pleasure to meet you commander"

The commander gave a light chuckle

"hahaha alright it seems that you're a bit scrawny, join that group running over there in running around the field. Do it until you drop"

At the end his voice dropped to a merciless tone which reminded Jason a bit of his father when he got out of the military.

'shoot this escalated quickly'

While he yelled out

"yes sir"

Jason started to jog to the group when commander Johnson shouted behind him,

"show them the strength of a chosen one, Arch!"

Boops reacted tentatively

'okayyy I don't know what that means but I'm sure we'll find out later. Anyways Jason go outshine everyone or else you'll be stuck as a trainee forever'

'yeah yeah wait, I'm a trainee?'

'Yeah, that's why you're not getting any benefits.'

'I'm confident in my speed i just invested a tone of points into it' Jason thought as he started running with the group.

long story short he got completely dusted. He was going against level 70 trainees and could barely keep up with their light jog on the first lap.

Of course, Jason was a bit embarrassed, but he was actually proud that he kept up with the main group for a bit. NPC's when the leveled up couldn't allocate stat points making them stat-wise weaker than a player.

Of course, they had their own advantages but that was for a later time.

But enough of that, Jason picked himself up, his legs were already shaking

'pathetic' he said to himself trying to motivate and move his body that wasn't moving. Out of sheer will, he managed to stand up his legs about to give up the next second. That was what he got for trying to keep up with people who had trained and were a higher level than him.

Stat wise and equipment wise Jason was lower and weaker than the rest of the people on the field. But he got up staggering on toward the rest of the group running.

People saw him, some laughed but most silently watched. Why? because it was a show of determination, of will, and in many people's eyes power.

Jason didn't notice any of that but just kept on pushing he couldn't beat or even get close to the group running though. It was like comparing a tortoise and a hare. Jason started to slow down his legs drooping his head getting fuzzier. His vision was clouding and then he gave out. He fell on the floor, his legs spread out like a fan.

That was Jason's first debut to the world, of WOW he earned ridicule and admiration from many people and his points went up like crazy.
