Ichi looked up at Fubuki, shielding his eyes.
"Something strange about that white energy around you."
As Ichi mentioned it to Fubuki, it turned off like a light. Fubuki looked at her hand.
"Renya told me I was made from 'an imitation of the wolf sword', yet something within me telling me she is incorrect. Both of us are mysteries to ourselves, Master, so your patience and virtue will be appreciated as I learn to serve you better. Renya also mentioned the same is true of another maid, she was also built of something called the 'orc sword'."
Ichi thought of the blue haired maid he saw with Rikya. He told Renya to repair the thing, not turn it into a maid!
He stood up off of the chair and apologized in his heart to Fubuki for his crass behavior. He let his anger get the better of him.
"I'm sorry for being impolite."
Then Ichi apologized out loud to Fubuki. A part of himself seemed to think apologizing inside his heart wasn't good enough.
Fubuki looked at Ichi silently with clear eyes, then nodded.
"If my Master became someone more worth serving, I would be grateful."
Ichi felt offended, but he didn't disagree with her entirely. So he would disagree with her part way to save his pride.
"Sorry."
And yet what came out was another apology. Even though Ichi felt like he was in the right when he walked into the room, he ended up somehow feeling he was in the wrong. Fubuki's a robot. He was expecting too much of her.
Ichi shared an awkward breakfast with Fubuki standing silently by before he sought out Rikya. A blue haired maid attacked him with an impressive axe kick seeking to take his head clean off before Rikya came running to stop her.
"Wavr! He's one of the okay ones!"

Wavr nodded and moved away.
"She's quiet." Ichi looked at the serene atmosphere Wavr generated around her. A maid like this came from the orc sword?
"Very quiet. Are you okay?" Rikya eyebrows were knit together.
Ichi shook out his arm he blocked the kick with. Good thing he had been training. Coating his arm with black energy was enough to take something as heavy as that.
"Something strange about these maids." Ichi mused to her. "I'll be fine. How's it going?"
Rikya averted her eyes and shook. Ichi didn't like her looking like that.
"Did Fubuki do something?"
"No, no, nothing much..." Rikya said and yet her eyes were still dodging Ichi.
It took awhile for Ichi to calm her down enough to have tell the truth about her meeting with Renya. He told her that he handled it already, and Rikya sighed.
"She's not a normal existence. I think she could even beat Morganth with ease. Wavr is the same."
"Let's just blame Renya's mad sciencetist side for that. Moving out of the village was always going to be a period of... adaptation I guess."
Rikya looked at Ichi.
"I never thought I would have trouble a robot maid. I'm not in the Spirit World yet. It's like you're distorting the natural laws of the universe, or something. With your power, I wouldn't be surprised."
Ichi immediatedly felt like a bad person.
"I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault!" Rikya's hands went up as if to cover him.
"Nah, it's definitely my fault. I should have kept a closer watch on Fubuki."
Rikya shook her head.
"Now you're being unreasonable. Even if I was that maid's master, I am certain that I couldn't handle her. It's like she's a druid or something."
Ichi didn't want to entertain the thought. Ichi and Rikya shared some time together and ate lunch. Fubuki was dismissed when she came by and Ichi saw Rikya get uncomfortable again. Ichi left her when he felt like she brightened up. He felt glad he checked in with her.
As he was leaving he passed the serene blue haired maid. He wondered why she would attack him, isn't he her Master? Ichi stopped and went back to the maid, figuring he'd better get it over with. Ichi didn't want another surprise like Fubuki.
"Wavr? Is it? Aren't I your Master, isn't it rude to attack me out of nowhere."
Wavr looked unconcerned with his presence and speech. After several moments, a low answer drifted out.
"There is unbalance. I sought to correct the distortion."
And with that, Ichi turned and walked away. He had a smile on his face, glad that he'd chosen to leave that problem for another day. Oni was due to come back tommorrow, he wanted to check on Renya before that. He hoped Renya would be rested by then, as he sorely needed technical support.
