Ichi stayed the night. After he tucked himself under the covers of a thick oak bed, Renya gave him a kiss on his forehead. Ichi passed out immediatedly and found himself writhing on the floor in the morning. He stood up, his arm rubbing the back of his next. A vague aftertaste tingled the back of his throat. He stretched, looking around the cabin as he fumbled for his clothes muttering curses.
The fireplace and candalabra were exstingushed. Through the windows came heat, his body warmed from sunbeams. He grabbed the orc sword, noticing it was lodged in a thick short wooden coffee table. Ichi had to brace with his foot to pull it off. Ichi wrapped himself up and struggled out the door, searching around the courtyard for someone to blame.
The black goo Ichi saw last night that filled a pool was gone. He walked over the edge, crouching down shouldering the orc sword as he examined the basin. Smooth, impossibly smooth. Like the inside of a glass? There was a hole in the center. A funnel, maybe? The black goo, could it have been oil?
Ichi got up swishing in hand over his face as he circled around. The large shadow last night revealed itself. Taller than the cabin, a giant of metal, entirely black with armored plates filling out it's girth. It really was a giant robot. On it's back was a large green bulging backpack. Ichi marveled at what could possibly be in there.
Renya walked out from behind the cabin and Ichi launched himself at her. By the time he reached her, he noticed she was covered in black smears wearing overalls. And nothing else. Ichi froze with the orc sword held high above his head. A red pulse drifted off the blade as violet energy seethed off his body. He could see it. Ichi could see Renya's chest. However, it wasn't enough. He could only see the side of the chest down in a line. He noticed from how the overalls revealed below the hip line that it was impossible for her to be wearing underwear.
Renya's eyes were wide and she laughed as Ichi pulled back, sheathing his sword. He pulled his sash open, stuffing the metal lump back were it was last night.
"Morning," Ichi grumbled.
Renya gave him a big smile and waved at him mockingly at short range. Her hand was covered in black smears.
"Morning! Did you sleep well?"
"Too well."
Ichi reached around to his shoulder, cricking his neck. He ambled past Renya to the back of the cabin, his face furrowed.
There, he saw the so-called 'golem' in it's full glory. He felt Renya's arms entangle around his left arm, hugging it to her body.

"Isn't it beautiful?"
Entirely black, with jagged shoulderpads and thick armor slid over all the joints giving a pleasant feeling of stubbiness. It looked unnaturally black in the sunlight. Ichi noticed there wasn't even a reflection. It'd be useful for night attacks. This was undoubtedly the kind of robot a villain would pilot.
Perfect for Renya, then? He looked at her.
"It's okay."
"You don't like the color?"
Ichi's hand went to his head as he stared into Renya's pleading eyes. He felt like they were talking about a house. That vague sense of being newlyweds with Renya disgusted Ichi.
"Eh... It'll be useful for night attacks." Ichi eventually settled on saying that.
"Yeah! It absorbs all light, so it'd be perfect for an ambush. Come on, I'll show you inside."
"'Inside'?"
Renya pulled Ichi by his hand. He'd never seen her smile so brightly. Wait, he did, right before she was about to swing down her katana on him that night. They walked under the metal giant's belly, Renya brought him close and pointed to a sphere. She passed her hand, rolling it.
"To get inside, roll this to the left and think 'open sesame'. I couldn't think of anything else that I could be sure you'd remember."
Ichi took that jab head on.
"Glad you were thinking of me." He said happily. His grin was tight.
"Here, try."
Renya released his hand. Ichi stepped up to the small sphere. On the torso, it felt right where the bellybutton would be. That felt kind of appropriate, design wise. With a swish of his hand the entire torso opened upwards, towering over his head.
Ichi did a double take as he looked inside. There was a chair, and behind that, a cavernous hole leading down. The size dwarfed the robot itself, but Ichi could only see the cavern hole when looking into the robot's cockpit. He saw faint light coming from below, shimmering as if there was a pool below. Ichi walked around to the back, making sure that there was nothing behind it.
"Bigger on the inside?"
Renya nodded.
"Get in." She urged.
Ichi walked around to the front and grabbed a metal rung to pull himself into the machine. He sat down hard in the chair, looking around for some sort of controls. Nothing of the sort was there. Renya jumped up into the robot's cockpit, pointing to another button.
"And this closes it."
She tapped it and the front shut. They were enveloped in total darkness as the robot closed, then as the last light disappeared through the closing crack, the entire robot disappeared around him. Ichi stood up. He looked around at Renya, behind her he could see the cabin. He reached his hand out towards where he thought the chestplate was and felt solid. He rubbed his hand on the invisible window, staring out at Renya's backyard.
"Complete three-hundred and sixty degree visibility." Renya said as she looked out the back towards the rice paddies in the distance. It was if they were just standing a few feet in the air. Below Ichi's feet he saw a slight tiny of grey. He tapped it with his foot. Solid, yet see through.
Renya walked over to the cavern behind the chair that lead down.
"Now, for the rest of the place."
