They toured the place, ending up at a fanciful german castle. Robot maids attacked Ichi when he was wandering the halls distracted by the paintings and clothed him in some sort of black velvet coat complete with black tie. Little hints of white showed where his shirt peeked out. Ichi never felt like he'd worn anything this fancy in his life. He saw the maids sprinting down the hallway, their shiny hair trailing behind them.
Ichi adjusted his new clothing, dusting it down. He walked over to a window, touching his hand to the stone. Ichi looked out over 'his' domain. It didn't feel real. Staring out over the cavern hole, he saw a quaint village with red abbey and a thick black forest surrounding black dome that Renya called her 'lab', and a vast lake. Ichi saw a dark snake like shape surface and then submerge. He nodded his head, closing his eyes.
Before going to a fantasy world, he had gone to a fantasy world. He thought of this situation like that. If things in the Spirit World got tough, he could always coop out here and get to know the robomaids better. Before he escaped to the city, he had already escaped to the cliffs surrounding England. According to Renya, that was the location, the cliffs of England. Ichi didn't even know England had cliffs. Really, he couldn't figure out how to thank Renya, just thanking her earlier didn't feel like enough. Maybe he shouldn't even bother. He suspected this was all a ploy to get him to lower his guard. And then, probably, she'll- Ichi didn't know. But he felt like it wasn't going to be good.
"I could be piloting a giant robot right now." Ichi toned out meditatively. The wind blew in his hair as the sun warmed his body. In the distance, the bell of the red abbey rung.
The sheer size and complexity of the place dwarfed him. He felt like he'd never get out of there if he let Renya lead him around. No, rather, why would he leave? Ichi's hand went over the orc sword, which was now buckled in a leather holster. He unbuckled and rebuckled it, making sure he could get at it at moments notice.
Ichi sighed, and followed Renya's smell. As he wandered the halls he saw robot maids running from him. A small one tripped over her own broom. Ichi towered over the small maid with robot ears and crouched down, grabbing her by the back of her garment. He righted her by picking her up and placing her down. As soon as he let go she zoomed away. Not even a glance back.
Ichi waited near the baths. He figured he could barge right in and Renya wouldn't mind, but his own opinion of himself would plummet. So he waited in his new clothes, waiting for Renya to finish up. He sagged again the wall, thinking that he'd have to finish things up with Grandpa first. There were some heirlooms still waiting for Ichi, and he admitted to himself begrudingly that he didn't want to take off.

Renya swirled out of the bath in her maid outfit, complete with a silver lined grey sheath for the wolf sword. She was humming to herself, Ichi didn't know the song at all but it sounded sad and classical. Her taste was the worst.
Her ears perked up as she turned and noticed Ichi. Her humming stopped immediatedly She blushed and looked down.
"What, are you embarassed?"
"Partly."
"I'd like the maids to be more friendly. Do you mind? Also, a smartphone."
Renya put her hand over her chest as she grinned at him.
"Altering the maids is against my ethics. As for the smartphone, I'd have to drive into the city. Do you have a preference?"
"You can't make one?"
"Ichi, do you even know how smartphones are made?"
Ichi shook his head. Renya extended her palm as she explained.
"It takes a vast network of resources and businesses to produce even a single smartphone. Buying one would be much easier on me. Plus, I doubt you'd use any special features I'd add."
Ichi waved his hand. Not a priority.
"Forget about it. Want to meet my Grandpa?"
Renya froze. Ichi's hand went to the back of his neck immediatedly.
"It's no big deal. I'm just going to say goodbye, and pick up some things. You can wait in the robot if you want."
Renya closed the distance between them in a moment. Her face was serious.
"It'd be improper to not greet your family. As a Maid, I cannot do that."
Ichi chuckled. He turned showing Renya his back and flung his hand out carelessly
"Getting into that role, are you? If you ever get tired, don't hestitate to be lazy."
"Laziness is but an excuse to not pursue idealism, what value is there in life if you don't pursue the ideal?" Renya said.
Ichi put a curled finger to his chin.
"Indulging in the impermance of the moment? Anyways, I'm driving the car back."
Behind him, he could feel a wave of heat.
"You don't have a license."
He turned he head to see an angry Renya. That was the first time he could remember seeing her face like that.
"And you do?"
Renya smiled.
"I'm not human, so it doesn't count."
"I'm still driving."
