That morning after- Ichi struggled with his memories of the night before. He stood near a window after escaping Rikya's sleeping grasp. Renya managed to find him within minutes of his escape, and he had to resort to drastic measures to get away from her.
When Renya saw Ichi in the form of a little girl, she got that drunk look on her face. He managed to get away by repeatedly using his black energy to skirt around the castle, luring Renya to defenstrate herself. The window he managed to get Renya to fly out of was the place where he stood.
Ichi immediatedly held his head, sinking to the ground on his knees. He regretted ever drinking and being taken in by the company and good food of the humble abbeyfolk and their simple ways. Ichi had no suspicion that Oni turned him into a little girl, instead, he blamed the drink. And upon further thoughts of shame and blaming himself wondering what his inner desires truly were, he blamed the drink. He also blamed Oni for putting the idea of manly man becoming a little girl. He didn't understand he was correct to blame Oni, so he still blamed the drink more.
After moping by the window, he easily undid Oni's spell 'become a little girl'.
Ichi's 'form of bigfoot' relied on his belief in the ideal masculine. A hairy beast that lives in the forest in pure contact with primal nature and physicality was a strong image for him. He spent a great deal of his life venturing into the forest to escape society.
Becoming a little girl was in direct conflict with his values. His nigh boundless druidic ability didn't even matter, as soon as Ichi was able to realize his situation he was able to return by using 'form of bigfoot' and then undoing the transformation.
However, the memories of the night remained. Ichi felt like he'd be able to become a little girl at a moment's notice because of those memories, though he didn't see where that would be useful.
He patted himself down there to make sure everything was back where it needed to be. Ichi let out a huge sigh near the window in a state of undress, clothed in only a shirt.
A maid with long grey hair and eyes and dark blue uniform glided past his fallen form. Ichi felt a soft tap on his forehead, and found himself fully clothed. He stood up, watching the maid's back as she drifted past him, her hair blowing in the wind from the window.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
"Thanks." Ichi said. He adjusted his new black tie and blazer, assuming the nearest maid responsible for it.
"Such is my duty, Master."
The maid's voice drifted to Ichi ears as if they were but a whisper. Ichi watched the maid dazed as she left at somber pace.
Then, Ichi felt a tug on his clothes as a dirty Renya crawled from the open window, pulling his body and chucking madly. A delicate chop from the grey haired maid landed straight in Renya's face and she crumpled to the ground.
In the same moment Renya's clothes were cleansed. The maid snatched Renya by the scruff of her neck like a stray cat and drifted away from Ichi carrying her with one hand with ease.
"Please excuse this maid, Master, I will have 'this' disposed of immediatedly." The grey haired maid said in a pleasant tone.
Ichi froze for a moment in surprise, then another moment as he pondered letting the maid get rid of Renya, then his hand reluctantly caught the maid's shoulder.
"Stop. That- the maid with the cats ears is special."
"Is that your taste, Master? I shall have another maid prepared with such a preference right now. They will be better behaved."
"Ye- I mean," Ichi pointed at the girl held by the grey haired maid. "No, don't kill Renya. She's important. Dangerous, but, important."
"You address this maid by name? I understand. So that is your relationship... I will train her, then, to properly serve."
Ichi couldn't disagree with the maid's conclusion. The maid turned to go, sensing his acceptance. Ichi watched her walk away, and on impulse he asked the maid her name.
She turned showing the side of her face to Ichi.
"Head Maid, Fubuki, Master. I look forward to serving you."
Ichi thought of the maids scattering wherever he went. This maid was different, her being head maid with that aura made sense to Ichi.
"Then, Fubuki, would you also get the other maids to stop running away from me?"
Fubuki turned her head and bowed slightly.
"Please excuse them for now, Master. They are afraid of your presence. In time, they will be able to serve you."
"My presence? Because I'm a man?"
"Master's dark energy appears as if it is a vortex reaching to the sky. Did Master not know of this?"
Ichi's eyebrow twitched. He figured at least Rikya would say something about it if she noticed. Maybe she thought it would be rude.
"I didn't know."
"If Master seeks awarness of his appearance, or assistance with any task, Master may call upon me at any time. It is my duty to serve."
Fubuki bowed again and left with the unconscious Renya clutched in her hand. Ichi felt relieved looking at her back.
