Roy chuckled at the unexpected boon, “These achievements are so strange. They appear at the weirdest moments.”
After the floating words disappeared, Roy walked with confident steps toward the silver treasure chest. As he opened it up, he couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at what he had found.
“Oh, a bow,” Roy took out the bow and quiver of arrows from the box. The quiver was made of leather and had what looked to be forty arrows within it. As Roy checked the head of one of the arrows, he found that it was made of silver-colored metal.
Silver Arrow Rank Sentinel Description Arrows made from silver iron. Depending on the rarity and rank of the bow, they can do great damage to Sentinel-rank individuals and below.
Roy was surprised by the description of the arrow. He then turned and looked at the bow in his left hand.
Moon Bow Rank Sentinel Rarity Silver Description A bow made using an oak tree that has absorbed moonlight energy for a year. Depending on the rank of the arrow, attacks with this bow can inflict significant damage to Sentinel-rank individuals and below.
Roy smiled as he read through the description of the arrow, “Well, Hawk is going to like this.”
Roy put the quiver on his shoulder alongside his backpack before walking toward the white portal.
“Congratulation on your clear. You will be rewarded with 50 red monster gems (tax not included) (Available once you become an official citizen of a territory).”
As Roy teleported to the entrance of the dungeon, what welcomed him was Robb’s smug face.
“Quite slow, aren’t we?”
Roy shook his head at his friend’s antics, “Congratulations on the win. Did you get anything good?”
Robb took out a scroll from his pocket and handed it to Roy, “Check out for yourself.”
Roy took the scroll from Robb’s hand and read the description.

The blocking and deflection effectiveness will depend on the rarity of the produced shield. Restriction Your production class needs to be Blacksmith or a branch of the archetype.
“Cool shit,” Roy nodded. “Now if we just understand what these fucking classes are, we’ll be able to get as many of these things as we need.”
“Well, who knows when that will happen,” Robb shrugged.
Roy looked around for the rest of the group, only to find Hawk sitting on his own among everyone’s tools and materials.

“Oh, Hawk, I got something for you,” Roy gestured for the knight with his hand before walking toward him.
As Roy reached closer, Hawk’s eyes opened wide, “Is that a quiver you got? Where did you get it from?”
Roy tilted his head and smiled, “From the dungeon. I got a bow too. Here, check it out.”
Roy handed the quiver and the bow to Hawk. As the knight read the description of the two items, his jaw slacked and his eyebrows were raised.
“Can I… take this?”
Roy chuckled slightly, “Yeah, it’s all yours. You’re the only archer we have, so of course you get it.”
“Thank you,” Hawk nodded with an appreciative look.
After Roy gave Hawk his new weapon, the three waited for another ten minutes before Marth and Clark’s group teleported out of the dungeon.
“You guys get anything good?” Robb walked up to Marth and asked.
The knight captain took out a longsword with a proud expression, “Well yes, this is a fine sword.”
“You’re really lucky,” Clark complained. “We only got some forging scroll and silver iron.”
“What forging scroll?” Roy stood up and asked.
Clark furrowed his eyebrows and thought for a few seconds before answering, “A Silver Moonlight Tashi. It’s some kind of sword I think, I’m not sure…”
Roy shrugged, “That’s alright, you can’t get lucky all the time. Maybe you’ll get something good tomorrow.”
“Why wait until tomorrow,” Marth raised an eyebrow at Roy’s remark before handing his silver sword to Clark, “You can be lucky today, take it.”
“Are you sure about that?” Clark asked hesitantly.
Marth clicked his tongue before pushing the sword toward the blonde young man, “Take it. It’s bad manners not to accept a gift from a knight.”
Godwin let out a hearty laugh before tapping Clark’s shoulder, “You’re being too humble. Go and take it.”
Clark slightly bowed at Marth before accepting the silver longsword, “Thank you.”
After the young man had taken the sword from his hand, Marth turned around with a smile, “So, shall we go back now and continue?”
The group of nine made their way back to the bear’s territory. As was usual by now, before entering the monster’s space, they covered themselves in dirt and grass. Afterward, they continued walking to the lake.
Hawk who was scouting ahead stopped and said, “Oh, this is great. It didn’t touch our work at all.”
As Roy upped his pace to reach Hawk, he found that the trench remained exactly as they had left it. Even the booby trap that Marth and his team worked on has not been touched.
“Good, seems like we’re fortunate,” Marth let out a hearty laugh. “Now let’s get to work, we might not be so lucky later on.”
Roy nodded before everyone got to work. They took out their shovels and continued digging through the hard soil, following the trace that Roy had set up earlier.
After another two hours of work, they were almost two-thirds of the way done. Roy looked up to the sky to find that it was almost noon.
Roy nudged Robb with his elbow, “Let’s go back to Roger’s place. Jacob should be almost done with the poison.”
The group of three then made their way out of the forest before reaching Roger’s house.
“Is that Jack’s group?” Robb pointed at the group standing in front of Roger’s place. It was indeed Jack’s group, and there was even Lorenz with them.
Seeing the young blacksmith, Roy’s heart skipped a beat, “I don’t have a good feeling about this.”
The two young men stayed silent as they walked toward Jack’s group, much to Jaimie’s confusion.
“Ehm, what’s happening? Why did everyone become silent all of a sudden?” Jaimie nudged at Roy’s clothes.
Roy smiled at the confused Jaimie, “I don’t know. I’m just thinking about stuff.”
While Roy’s bullshit last-minute excuse didn’t satisfy Jaimie, the young man did not have much to say. He just had a bad feeling, and he didn’t fully understand why.
When Roy’s group of three reached the front of Roger’s house, Jack noticed them and walked toward them.
“Good thing you came so early, we have a little problem.”
Roy looked at Jack’s group to understand the atmosphere, and it did not look the best. Even Jack was hiding his obvious distress under a fake smile.
“What happened?” Roy asked. “Something bad?”
Jack bit his lips as he tried to keep his smile and composure before talking after a few seconds of silence, “Yeah, it’s a bit of a problem.”
“What’s a bit of a problem?” Robb asked in a hurry. “This suspense is not helping anyone.”
Jack kept trying to smile before he took a deep breath and slumped his shoulders, “I think it’s better if we go and show you.”
“No, let’s just tell them right here,” Hassan cut in. He stood up and walked toward Roy’s group, “John’s knights found us and we had a bit of trouble with them.”
Roy took a few seconds to absorb the information before inquiring for more, “What happened? Did they do something to you guys, did someone get hurt?”
Roy was confused as all the people that should be guarding Lorenz were in front of him. No one of them seemed to be injured.
“No, it’s not us,” Hassan shook his head with a stressed chuckle. “It’s them. We killed two of their knights.”
