The ogre general sat among his trusted officers. Even though each of the blue ogres could eclipse a house with their size, and crush any human with their strength, they felt weak and timid compared to the purple ogre.
“General, the war on the north front against the humans isn’t going well. We should send reinforcements to crush those bugs. Just any one of us will be enough.” An ogre with three skull necklaces voiced out his thoughts. The rest of the ogres evidently shared his views as they nodded and affirmed his words.
“Let me have the honor to do it. I will be sure to bring you the heads of their leaders before the sun sets.” An ogre with five necklaces sitting directly in front of the general boasted with a great laugh.
“There is no use for any of you to go and fight those humans right now.” The purple ogre smiled and shook his head. “You don’t want your subordinates to end up with no prey, do you? If you go and massacre those weaklings, it will be a while before we find good targets for the goblins and green ogres to grow strong.”
“But they’re dying by the hundreds right now,” The first three necklace ogre retorted.
The general raised an eyebrow at his officer’s response. “You have grown too kind, Salmadoth. There is no use for weak soldiers, especially if they cannot even kill those tender flesh milk-drinking humans.”
As the general stated his reasons, no one dared to speak any further. They understood that his decisions were final.
Seeing that his officers had nothing more to say, the purple ogre smiled, “Speaking about humans. Everyone here surely must have noticed those three peeping.”
The general along with the two strongest blue ogres at both his sides turned and looked in the direction of the giant cliff at their right. Their smiles turned into mad grins and their eyes gleamed with malice.

The moment Roy and Robb noticed the shift in mood and facial expressions of the ogres, they bolted toward the forest without any thought. Thankfully, Robb had the reflex to grab Jaimie by the collar and carry him in his arms. If not, the poor little kid would have been left in the jaws of the lion.
The duo ran with every single fiber of power they had in their being. They knew that if those monsters caught up to them, there wouldn’t be any escaping or trickery. It was especially true for the purple ogre, the pressure he exuded was many levels higher than that of the red bear. Even standing so far away from him, it prickled their skin and gave them goosebumps.
“Fuck, this was such a stupid idea!” Robb couldn’t help but let out his frustration and stress. His hands were shivering from fear, and his heart raced in his chest. It was to the point that Jaimie could feel his pulse going up and down with every beat.
“Just run, everything will be alright.” Roy looked at Robb and whispered to himself, “It will be alright.”
Seeing his friend’s confident demeanor, Robb raised his eyebrows before nodding his head. It was not the time for him to lose control of his emotions, he needed to be present in the moment and focus all of his mind on surviving.
Roy’s ears perked up and he heard shuffling in the air. Without even thinking, Roy shoved Robb to the side, and a meteor of flesh and muscle flashed between them.
“Quite the speedy little bugs aren’t you?” The ogre stood in front of them and grinned. “Maybe I should start with those legs. I wonder what kind of sound they’ll make when I crush them.”
Hearing the monster in front of them speak with such a fluent tongue, Roy's eyes widened in shock, "How? How do you speak our language?!"
For a second, the massive blue ogre was even more surprised that Roy was, "But I am not speaking your language." Suddenly, as if he was enlightened, he burst out laughing, "Oh, I understand... You bugs don't know anything, do you?"
The ogre's response made Roy furrow his eyebrows even further, "What is that about? What do we not know?"

The blue monster looked with disgust at the group of three, "Why should I be answering the questions of a bug? You don't be explaining the way your swords were forged before you slaughter your sheep, do you?"
While the monster was responding to the young man's question, Roy took a deep breath and looked at the situation in front of him more calmly. The ogre had three necklaces; Roy immediately noticed that detail and thought, So he is the weakest of them.
Roy made a small signal to Robb and Jaimie with his eyes, and the two instantly understood the message. Robb unsheathed his katana and walked to the front.
Seeing the two humans making signal to each other, the ogre cackled, “Huh? You’re not going to run anymore? You know you can’t beat me, right? You’re just bugs!”
“Shut the fuck up!” Robb bolted toward the gigantic ogre. The monster was holding the hunk of iron that could barely be described as a greatsword on top of his shoulder with leisure, and had a relaxed smile that didn’t leave his face.
Just as Robb pounced at the ogre, the latter swung down with his gargantuan weapon. The katana and the greatsword clashed with a flurry of sparks before Robb was pushed back to the ground.
“Oh, that’s a good sword.” The ogre scratched his chin. “Tell me, where did you find it? Surely your bugkind cannot make a weapon with such a powerful material.”
Robb stood up from the ground and hissed at the monster, “Now, why don’t you ask that after you win?”
The blue ogre raised his eyebrows with surprise. He then shook his head and walked toward Robb, “And here I was thinking of sparing you if you told me.”
“Really?” Robb tilted his head.
“Well, yes of course. Why would I need to kill you if I can get such an incredible weapon? I’m sure the general would agree too,” The monster replied with an innocent smile on his face.
Robb let out a sigh of relief and smiled back at the monster. His tense muscles relaxed, and his whole demeanor shifted. “Well, then come here. Let me show you the way.”
The ogre walked slowly toward Robb with a jovial attitude. His eyebrows twitched for a bit as he could no longer see the little kid among the group. However, that did not bother him much, as Roy was still standing in his place with his hands behind his back.
“So, where is it?”
The ogre stopped right in front of Robb. The beast’s gigantic frame towered over the young man and its bulging muscles almost burst out of its skin.
Robb took a breath and pointed to the direction of the village. “If you run there for half an hour, you’ll find this mountain. We found this sword under a large pile of rocks at the side of it. You can’t miss it.”
The blue ogre looked in the direction of the village with an annoyed expression. Just as he was about to say something, Robb pointed upwards with his finger. “You should look up.”
The monster furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. However, maybe it was due to arrogance or just pure carelessness, he followed Robb’s words without thinking much about them.
Just as he looked up, he saw the tip of Jaimie’s dagger falling straight into his eyeball. The young kid had jumped from a tree branch and plunged his knife into the monster’s left eye.
“Agh! You filthy bugs!” the three necklace ogre screamed and lashed around as blood covered his face.
Robb charged at the falling monster with ghostly glow. His foot left a noticeable trace in the ground when it blasted like a launching missile. Using all of the momentum he gained from Ghost Step, Robb slashed at the monster’s chest and stomach. His sword cut through skin and flesh, but it could not dig further. The monster’s defense and robustness was just too strong.
Roy, who was hiding his hands behind his back, showed a large fireball spinning on top of his palm. “Clear the way!”
Jaimie and Robb dashed away from the monster while Roy threw his spell at him. In half a second, the fireball reached the stunned ogre and exploded into a raging inferno.
The moment his skill engulfed the beast, Roy and his friends immediately continued their escape. As they dodged trees and ran on grass, they could hear the screams and howls of the blue ogre behind them. Their attack was most definitely effective.
Half an hour passed as they ran through the forest with all their might. None of them dared to talk or do anything that would distract them. It was only when they could see the village, and John’s army fighting the monsters in its entrance that they could catch their breath.
“Holy shit, that was… crazy!”
Roy couldn’t help but nod at Robb’s words. “Fucking hell, this is the last time I’ll suggest something this stupid again.”
While Robb and Roy were breathing heavily after each sentence, Jaimie was laughing, “But it was fun, wasn’t it?”
Roy raised an eyebrow and stood with an open mouth for a second. “What the fuck is wrong with you?”
Seeing Jaimie laughing and smiling, Robb had an impressed look on his face. “But damn, you were quick on your feet right there. How did you think to climb up that tree?”
“Oh…” Jaimie let out a pained smile. “I did that a lot in my dream.”
