After deciding what we would present at the cultural event, it was time to get down to business. First of all, we divided ourselves into groups of three based on our knowledge and started planning the actual construction of the miniature steam train. Everyone knew their strengths and weaknesses, so it was easy to know which group each one would be in.
Speaking of which, I was elected as the group leader, while Emi was elected the deputy leader. I really don't know how this happened, as it was only natural. Emi also didn't seem to mind this, as she actually seemed to like the idea for some reason. With this in mind, I simply accepted the position and started working with everyone.
Since we had little time to put everything together, our class always met after school in the library where we talked about the project and modified it depending on the situation. But even if I say "modified" we simply exchanged some things that didn't exist in this world for things that did.
It was obvious that the project wouldn't be perfect since it would be something done in a hurry. This wasn't even our goal to begin with. What we wanted to show in this cultural festival is that this way of locomotion is also possible. Besides, just like in my old world, I am sure that this way of locomotion will be extremely used in the future too.
And so, the days went by and the steam train was getting closer and closer to its conceptual form. Thanks to everyone's help, the idea was taking shape and everyone was getting more and more excited with each new step we completed. As soon as the weekend arrived, I was getting ready to visit my store.
After finishing getting ready, I left the room and headed to the entrance of the gym. On the way to my store, I took advantage and passed by the construction of the future mall. If compared to the last time I was here, the construction is already much more advanced, and it's already possible to see the form that it will take.
You can see several people whispering to each other while pointing to the mall under construction. Probably many were wondering what is being built there since shopping is a relatively new concept in this world. With a small smile on my face, I continued walking to my store. As soon as I arrived at my store, the usual line was already there, as usual.
Ignoring this, I went to the back part and went up to the second floor. The hired attendants were as usual attending the customers and showing them the products that the store has available. Moreover, they all have the basic knowledge about what each product does in case there is any customer who has questions about it.

As soon as I got to the second floor, I walked directly to Rebecca's office. As soon as I got to the door, I knocked twice, and as usual, Rebecca asked me to come in. As soon as I entered, I found Ammy in Rebecca's office. As the two seemed to be talking, I wondered if I had arrived at a bad time.
"Did I arrive at a bad time?"
I asked as I looked between Ammy and Rebecca. As soon as they turned to me, both Ammy and Rebecca were momentarily surprised by my sudden appearance.
"Seriously, you really should fix this mania of yours of not letting people know you are coming"
Said Rebecca as she looked at me, her look seemed to say that I really was a child who was no longer any good.
"Anyway, there must be a reason you came here, isn't there?"
Said Ammy as she looked at me. I admit that made me a little uncomfortable since from the way she spoke, it seems that I only come here when I need something.
(Not that that's a lie, but...)
I thought as I sighed. After that, I looked at Rebecca and Ammy as I thought about what my next words would be.
"You both know that Monday the cultural festival will be open at the academy, don't you?"
I asked, looking at both of them. Hearing my words, they both nodded their heads, showing that they understood.
"I came here to find out if you intend to go or not"
I said, looking at both of them. Hearing my words, they looked at each other for a few seconds before turning their gaze back to me.
"We were both planning to go, yes... why?"
Ammy asked, looking suspicious. As soon as I heard this, a smile appeared on my face, making Ammy even more suspicious.
"At the cultural festival, my classmates and I will be presenting something revolutionary that I have been working on for a few months. You will regret it if you don't go"
I said, smiling. Hearing my words, both Rebecca and Ammy became wide-eyed as they looked at me.
"Ren... what the hell do you intend to show?"
Rebecca asked suspiciously. As soon as I heard her words, I walked to the door. Before I could leave, I turned to both of them.
"You will see. Well, see you in 2 days then"
As soon as I said that, I opened the door and walked out. After that, I started walking back to the academy while thinking about the presentation that would happen in 2 days. I wondered how they would react to it and what they would think. Emi didn't seem particularly against the project, so probably the others would react the same way, or at least that's what I want to believe.
With that thought in mind, I left my store and started walking back to the academy. As I walked, I thought about everyone who was helping me and realized that I really want to help them achieve their dreams. Although the things I can do as a noble are still limited at the moment, I'm sure they will increase in the future.
