After Emi's brief explanation, the carriage continued its journey until we reached a beautiful mansion. Although it wasn't as large as the mansions I was used to seeing, it seemed quite comfortable. Furthermore, I was immensely grateful to Liam for providing us with a place to stay during our visit to Belfri.
As I reflected on this, the carriage passed through the gate and headed toward the entrance, crossing a garden that surrounded both the left and right sides. Gardens in this world were also a way to display wealth and status, as only elite nobles could afford specialized gardeners.
I personally didn't attach much importance to it, but I decided to hire the best gardener I could find when I was finalizing my own mansion. Nowadays, I'm happy with the decision I made, as both Emi and Anna seem to appreciate the garden walks very much.
Once the carriage that Emi and I were in stopped, we disembarked and found Liam, who had also just descended from his. After we gathered, we proceeded to the main entrance of the mansion, which was opened by a maid waiting for us outside.
By the way, the mansion is practically seaside. While we were coming here, Liam told us that the back of the mansion has a small garden that leads to the beach. Apparently, it takes about ten minutes to walk to the beach from here.
Anyway, as soon as we entered the mansion, Liam gave us a brief explanation of the layout of the rooms. He pointed out that to the left of the entrance hall was the living room, with its large windows overlooking the sea, suggesting that Emi and I could enjoy pleasant moments there.
Meanwhile, to the right of the entrance hall, there was the door that led directly to the dining room. Although Liam briefly took us to both places, there isn't much to say about the dining room. In the center, there was basically a long table with chairs, where we would sit for our meals.
Afterward, Emi led us to our rooms on the second floor. Initially, I suggested that both Emi and I sleep in separate rooms, but Emi expressed that she didn't mind if we both stayed in the same room. I honestly didn't know how to react to that, but I decided to agree with Emi's suggestion, as Liam also seemed to prefer this idea.
Speaking of which, the room where Emi and I would stay was exceptionally beautiful. There was a pleasant breeze coming from the private balcony, which offered a splendid view of the sea. Two chairs next to a round table added a touch of comfort to the room. Without a doubt, it was a place where I would love to spend time with Emi.

"Well, these are the most important places you need to know. Now, I hope you feel comfortable during your stay here"
Liam said after introducing us to the different rooms of the mansion. As he seemed busy, I decided not to prolong the conversation.
"Thank you for guiding us, Liam"
Upon hearing my words, Liam gave a faint smile.
"You don't need to thank me, I'm more than happy to keep you company, but I really apologize for leaving so suddenly. I really need to check some paperwork"
After those words, Liam said goodbye to Emi and me, going on his way. As he explained, there were some extra agreements he had made with a few shops in Belfri, so he would take the opportunity to take a closer look and make sure there were no mistakes. Anyway, Liam said he would let us know when he was ready to leave.
I just agreed with that because honestly, I wasn't in a hurry. Besides, I was also looking forward to spending some time with Emi.
"The servants should have already brought our luggage to the room. Plus, we only had a quick look inside. How about we explore the room in more detail?"
Listening to my words, Emi just nodded in agreement, a small smile gracing her lips.
"Okay"
Saying these words, Emi and I entered the room and started looking around. Although the room was quite luxurious, it was still relatively modest compared to the houses in Solaris' capital. Anyway, I thought it would be rude to ask too much of a beach house.
As I looked at the wardrobe, I noticed Emi walking slowly towards the balcony behind me. Her beautiful hair fluttered in the wind as she walked, and my eyes were mesmerized by the sight. It was as if I were witnessing a live reproduction of a painting right in front of me.
"Ren?"
Emi's words made me realize that I was staring intently at her, which honestly made me a little embarrassed.
"Sorry about that"
I said, blushing slightly as I averted my gaze. Hearing my words, Emi let out a soft laugh, finding my reaction amusing.
"Why are you apologizing? I really don't mind if you want to look at me... to be honest, sometimes I find myself looking at you when you're not looking"
Emi said, with a playful tone. After that, she turned her gaze back to the balcony.
"How about we go to the balcony? I'd like to enjoy the sea view"
Emi suggested, extending her hand toward me. With a defeated smile, I took Emi's hand, and we both walked toward the balcony. As we stepped outside, a gentle breeze brushed against my face, and a blue landscape stretched as far as my eyes could see.
"It... is beautiful"
Emi murmured as she watched the sea, her beautiful golden eyes seeming to shine with excitement. Once again, I found myself captivated by Emi's charm, although this time she didn't seem to notice.
"Yeah, you're right... it's really beautiful"
I said as I placed my hand on top of Emi's and turned my gaze to the sea, feeling a slight weight on my shoulder. I looked to the side and saw Emi leaning as she continued to gaze at the sea.
