Dunes of white sand shifted under his legs and rocks made his feet feel an uncomfortable sensation as he looked down on a giant pit made from sand and rock, with a center giant ship lying down, bent over to one side. He was still in part of white shore but right now he was in a hidden space he found out in one of his expeditions.
At that time, he just started with his activities, and the fight he needed to win in order to conquer this place sent a shiver down his spine even now.
After a harrowing fight, he inspected the entire vessel before moving in with most of his things. He didn’t feel safe in sanctuary and living with David made him feel like a burden for someone willing to shield him when he needed it most.
Giving another glance to Moon Hildebrant without hesitation descended to the ship and opened a small door he repaired on his own, an achievement that made him smile and quickly close them while also cowering them with his blood.
The skin on his hands was teared up, mangled, and opened in various places but all Hildebrant didn’t even look at them and walked deeper into the vessel.
On his way to his room, he closed every door, window, nook, and cranny he could find and then turned off all oil lamps in the surroundings before entering his room and sitting down. While he sat down, he used water stored in a leather container to clean his wound and waited with an unsettled heart.
Icarus could not choose a worse time to attack as today was the day of the full moon and the day the entire white shore would come alive.
No one knew what made this day so dangerous, but it was not because no one tried to observe what was happening but because no one survived. Not even the past lord of Lightbringher was able to make it alive after spending time outside on this day.

Contemplating his opinion Hildebrant lighted up a candle and slowly began to bandage his arm when a small knock could be heard on the various parts of the ship.
Hildebrant froze and then he listened.
Everything began with a knock and then the sound of something moving on the ship entered his ears, banging his brain. Some sounds sounded like whispers while others were like two creatures talking in inhuman language.
But it was not right, there still should be time before the moon cast its influence on the white shore.
With a heart filled with worry, Hildebrant gazed at the only door from his room that was a little leaning on the side due to how the vessel was thrown on shore. The door was locked and blocked with a chair but nothing from it eased his heart as he listened to a scratching sound coming closer and closer and then it coming farther.
Was something really trying to get in?
Steps echoed and then ceased right next to the wall he sat on.
With an unsettled heart, he looked at the wall and then froze.
There on the wall right in the height of his vision, there was a gap and through it, unhuman black eyes observed him with indifference.
For the moment everything froze and Hildebrant did not dare to move.
The eye was familiar and unfamiliar at the same time filled with nothing, but children's curiosity and it continued to watch him silently until the creature huffed and the eye disappeared showing white sand outside of the ship.
Hildebrant did not even wait for a moment and took bandages in his hand and filled the hole that let the creature notice him, giving no opportunity for another mistake. With a ragged breath, he then let out all the fear that accumulated in him in that small window of time and then slumped down on the bed.
For now, he survived.
Wiping down his sweat he was prepared to go to sleep after reading something when a crushing sound made his hair stand.
Something broke the doors he closed when he entered the vessel and with a rhythmical step, it began to descend deeper right into the room where he resided.
