"Centaur Trade; Mercury vessel Persephone, request permission to dock."
"Permission granted, Persephone, Tugs on their way."
"Centaur Trade, we have 81 refugees on board, request assistance."
"Immigration will be standing by."
I get up from the captain's chair. I promised to be back by Monday morning. Beatrice is already aware, and lyla is making a point to stay visible, especially after these guards figured out I only needed to wear their armor for a few seconds to fix everything, and update them.
Wearing them also tells me a lot about their training and fighting styles. Emmett prefers kicking, Lyla prefers a right hook, but the servos were also in bad shape for side kicks.
Beatrice is a brawler, and rolls her shoulders, telegraphing her moves. The extra metal on the back of her gauntlets and the damage to the suits legs told me she trains almost exclusively for boxing.
The anchor attaching doesn't seem as loud as it did before. I told the survivors they had to leave the ship until we were fully repaired, and they would need to file a request with Danielle to be allowed back on.
So a full disembark is taking place. I gave Kiel the video and audio files for yesterday, and this morning, and told him I would destroy any camera I found of his on the ship, so take them all with him. The Chamber Guard flanked him until he was off the ship. Danielle left, and I waited until she was halfway down the gangway to tell the guard to exit.
Because they are to protect me, they placed themselves around me as we exited. Once on the station, I was escorted to a secluded spot. Beatrice nodded to me, and I touched my lips with three fingers, then willed myself to Tabitha's guest bedroom.
I stepped out of the room, to make myself some apple cinnamon tea.
"Explain" Tabitha said as I stepped into the kitchen. At first I wondered what she was talking about, but Patty appearing next to her told me what it was about.
"I appeared on a spaceship. A derelict one, with no oxygen."
You might be reading a stolen copy. Visit Royal Road for the authentic version.
"And, what did that brat give you?" Patty asked. "He has never asked to make changes before, what did he give you."
"A periodic table." I said. I held my hand out while thinking of a kilogram of gold, a bar slammed into the table. "Any element, any amount, up to the maximum an interior volume can handle, as long as I am an hour's travel from the destination, always appearing in a container for safe transport."
"Grubby little hoarder." I heard her mumble.
"I finally have an exo-suit in outfits."
I selected the chamber armor and put it on.
"Shit. He altered his timeline for you."
"I think he said that." I put the armor away. "How can you tell?"
"The traveler who designed that suit, was one from my dimension."
I nodded, her having confirmed a suspicion.
"I was lead to believe I was a first."
"No just the latest. Gaias was a tyrant. He barely got help from us. He raised his seven children to be tyrants. The history is probably kind of odd around the death."
"They call it 'Night of Rebellion'."
"It was a month of your time, not a single night. Gaias wanted to do anything except trade peacefully." As long As you are trying to improve trade, that brat will leave you alone."

The Chamber Guard surrounded me. Without saying a word, and gesturing to not say anything, Lyla grabbed my gold chain, lifting it out of my pocket.
She did something and the heavy bauble came off. She put something on the chain, and replaced the bauble. Then showed me what was added. The weight falling back in the pocket was much heavier than its actual weight.
"Where is she?"
"We keep the secrets of Korvall. She named you to this. She is unavailable, but safe. Do not disgrace our Queen."
"She doesn't like to be called that."
"Its who she is. Just as you are the illegitimate child of councilor Grey. You can not change who you are."
"You found that quick." I admit
Lyla turned to me.
"A list of progeny comes with awaking from Cryo. I am your fore bearer. Lyla Ann Grey."
"That explains a lot."

Two doctor's appointments this week, and I should get a letter soon on the peer review of the Higgs paper. It won't be confirmed or anything, just that they received it, and possibly the judges for it selected.
The nuclear physics papers got sent today, and I am unsure how they will be seen.
I know they will pass review, the next question would be which reactor site were the tests done, for the paper to be written.
That's going to be a bit harder to explain.
I play with a copy of the Chamber Guard's armor. Taking inspiration from an old comic book, I modify it further. I change out the power storage for a beryllium core generator. A pop-up states the core generates too much power at idle for the suit. A few adjustments later, and I have an exo-suit capable of flying, but I'm not stupid enough to do it the way the red and gold superhero had.
I changed the new suit to a pristine white, with silver accents. Then tried it on. It felt comfortable, but stuffy. Back in the window it goes. At least for now. Since the Argon-beryllium power core is only a module, and I can't pull it out by itself, I guess I need to make one.
