“AHHH!!!”
“Finally woke up?”
“Hmm?!”
In the room, the head of Gan violently shook and opened its eyes and found Mrit slowly taking his hand off his head. His hair was all drenched in sweat and tears were gushing out of his eyes and he was huffing, even though he has no lungs.
For a moment, Gan thought that where he is as he couldn’t distinguish between reality and dream. After somehow coming to his senses, Gan stared at Mrit and Mrit knew for what reason Gan is digging stares at him.
“Relax, it was all a dream.”
“A... dream?”
Mrit casually said so and ignored Gan as he stood from the chair and walked towards the door. Holding the doorknob, Mrit opened the door and outside, the skeletons of Pat and Rick were standing.
“So, have you two got everything in order now?”
Mrit looked at Rick and then Pat after which Rick nodded his head, confirming Mrit’s words.
“Then it’s fine. I don’t have to repeat all the things. Pat, I do hope you understand where I stand in this world and what my real motives are. Rick has made it clear to you, right Rick?”
“Y-Yes S-Sir! After knowing everything, I fully support you, Sir! Be it the heroes or the Goddess, I will always stand with you.”
Though a little scared as he saw what Mrit is and what Mrit went through with Rick’s help. Pat childishly shouted and stood straight up like a newly recruited soldier full of vigour, making Mrit chuckle a little.
“We have a long way to go, but yeah. I am happy that I have some people to rely on, albeit skeletons.”
“U-Uh!!”
Embarrassment was evident on Pat’s skull, but still, Mrit reassured them, vanishing the embarrassment from Pat’s face.
“Don’t worry. As I level up, you will gain your muscles back and body back Pat.”
“R-Really?!” A glint of excitement appeared in Pat’s eyeball sockets seeing which Rick just slapped his forehead in embarrassment. While both of them were standing, Mrit went back inside, picked up the head of Gan and tossed it towards Rick.
“Catch it!”
Suddenly called by Mrit and seeing the head tossed towards his way, Rick clumsily moved forwards and somehow caught Gan’s head after juggling a little bit.
“Take him with you and come here tomorrow morning.”
With that, Mrit is about to close the door, but Gan called him back.
“W-Wait! T-Tell m-”
“SHH!! Tomorrow. You will have your answers, for now, just contemplate what you experienced.”
Though Gan wanted to know more about the dream that Mrit showed him, Mrit had no wish to explain things to him now.
“B-But...!!”
Without listening to his words, Mrit shut close the door in Gan’s face, leaving Rick, Pat and Gan outside.
“...”
“...Captain?”
“I... am... fine. Let’s go.”
Seeing him not saying anything, Rick tried to call Gan following which Gan spoke and ordered him to retreat from here.
“Finally!!”
*THUD!*
Inside the room, Mrit collapsed on the ground and vomited blood as soon as he shut the door. Dragging himself, he climbed on the sofa and lay on it.
“*Cough!* Damn it!! I overused... t-the skill. S-Shit!”

His current state is the result of the overuse of his skill. Just reading a person’s mind takes a toll on his brain, but creating a simulation by using various memories overloaded his brain.
“AUGHH!! F-Fuck. I-I h-h-have to do something!”
Though lying down, the pain escalated more as Mrit’s face started to turn red. Veins around his forehead started to bulge and his blood started to come out of his eyes.
“ARGHH!! S-Sun’s Embrace!!”
Without wasting much time, Mrit used Sun’s Embrace on himself as the aura of the sun enveloped his head. After some time passed by, his face slowly started to return to normal, bulging veins went back to normal and the blood stopped coming out from his eyes.
“Huff, Huff!!.... Damn it!”
Panting, Mrit slowly loses his energy to let his eyes remained opened and with that, he fell asleep on the couch, without wiping off the tears of blood from his face. The room, so quiet and silent slowly got filled with Mrit’s rhythmic breathing and so, another night passed by in this other world.

Tap! Tap! Tap!
Elsewhere in an unknown place, a man wearing white cloth armour walked down a white hall. He wore a white mask and a hood which made it impossible to look at his face.
The surrounding wall was made of something that looked like glass. The material reflected him as he slowly walked down towards a magnificent white door. Reaching the door, he looked at the door. On the door, there was a huge design of the moon on it seeing which the man just smiled.
Then, an unknown light came from the design of the moon on the door and scanned him. After the light scanned his whole body, the magnificent door opened.
“….”
From outside, the man can’t seem to see anything that is inside the room as white light blinded him which was coming from inside. But without any hesitation, the man walked towards the bright light as he slowly got engulfed by the light. Behind him, the door close shut by itself, but the man didn’t seem to get affected by it as he walked forward with looking back.
“All Hail The Great Goddess!”
After walking for a while, the man, out of nowhere, kneeled on one knee while his head looked down as he spoke out, hailing the Goddess. After he completed his words, the light which seemed to be everywhere started to get sucked up.
After a while, all the light which was blinding him and covering this whole room went away and revealed the whole room.
“O’ Champion of mine, raise your head.”
An alluring, calm, collected voice called out to him and upon hearing, the man lifted his head and looked at the one who called him.
“O mighty Goddess! What pleasure it is of mine to have your auspicious sight.”
The one who called her was none other than the Goddess herself as she sat gracefully upon her throne. The goddess, wearing a translucent white cloth has the symbol of the crescent moon embroidered on it. She also wore a necklace made of silver and had a small crescent moon shaped jewellery.
Upon close inspection, the throne was on an elevated platform followed by steps. The throne was all white, with various jewels embedded on it with a small figure of the crescent moon shining, resting upon the backrest of the throne.
Further, there was no ceiling at all in the room, just the night sky with a full moon and no star, shining so brightly that its rays further elevated the beauty of the Goddess as the necklace along with the gems that shined brightly.
Other than that, the whole room was circular and empty with just nothing but a red carpet continuing from the stairs to the door and silver screens covering the walls of the room.
“What is it my champion, for which you came all the way here?” The goddess asked the man kneeling in front of him following which the man stood up and spoke.
“O mighty goddess, the expedition of the later arrived heroes that were sent to the first realm of the demon world have succeeded in clearing it.”
“Any casualties?”
“No, my Goddess. Because of your kind blessing, the poor lambs survived and have successfully returned to the mortal realm.”
“Hmm.” Even though the man was speaking praises for her, the Goddess doesn’t seem to be fazed by them as she continued to listen to what the man had to say. After listening to everything the man spoke, she then spoke.
“O champion, what about the last hero? Has he been properly ‘educated’?”
The Goddess here referred to none other than Mrit who she threw away in the forest. Hearing her question the man then answered.
“By your orders, we are letting the beast of the forest and the men of a lower-rank guild deal with him. Two days later, we expect a reply from the guild about whether the man is alive or not.”
The man spoke plainly without having any hesitation in his voice as he reported back. The talk between the two of them showed that Mrit was not the only one who was subjected to the ‘education’ here.
“No. I want him alive. If, even after going through all that, he still doesn’t come to accept my supremacy here, then we will break his mind.”
Saying so, the Goddess stood up, and seeing this, the man kneeled. Walking down the steps, the Goddess walked towards the man, her champion.
“If he doesn’t realize his place, then throw him along with the cannon fodders. He will come in handy when fighting against the so-called ‘death’.”
“As you order, my lord!”
The man shouted as the goddess turned back and walked towards her throne. But before reaching her throne, she looked back again and spoke to the man.
“Bring him to me, even if he decides to go against me or not. I want to see the face of that bastard who dared to swear at me and tried to sully me.”
“YES!!”
With that, the man got up, turned back and walked back towards where he came from, leaving the Goddess alone. Lifting her hands, she looked at them with a curious gaze.
“What was that power that even made ‘it’ sleep? What was that dark aura that had the power to wipe away the light of the Lord?”
There were dark, black spots on her whitish skin, along with a hint of dark aura. The goddess closed her eyes after which pure white light, which had engulfed the whole room then engulfed her hands but even after that, the spots and aura didn’t fade away at all but instead, the light slowly started to get absorbed by the spots.
“Is this some kind of skill? I have to know what that man Mrit is hiding, at all cost.”
The light faded away as she put her hands down after which a portal opened in front of her and she walked inside. After she went inside the portal, the portal disappeared, leaving the whole room empty.
