“G-Gan?”
Ashv said this as he saw Gan standing and looking down at him. On his right hand, residual mana gradually faded away, indicating that the one who attacked Ashv was none other than Gan.
“Y-You dare a-attack me?”
Ashv growled as he writhed in pain. The wound stung him so much but there was something more important that he had to see through and that was Gan.
If he really is the one who attacked him, then he can rest assured that whatever he said has been thoroughly heard by Gan.
So to somehow escape the situation, Ashv tried to use his authority here.
“You attacked the son of your master, Gan. How dare you attack the descendant of the mighty warrior race? Can’t you see the blood you have spilled? It is the blood of the same master you serve, Gan.”
With a nasty smirk on his face, Ashv slowly tried to guilt-trap Gan. He knew very well how devoted and loyal a dog Gan truly is. Even a single scratch by someone on either brother would make Gan completely insane. Their father's blood, the blood flowing in them, meant more to him than anything, even more than his own life.
“What are you going to do Gan? Tell me!!” With that in mind, Ashv tried to be as manipulative as possible, trying his level best to somehow remove one of the obstacles from his path. With Gan gone, he might be able to get rid of his brother too somehow.
"You, a loyal dog of my father, hurt his young son, whom he left in your care? How do you think my father would feel when he will see the blood of the mighty warrior family spilled on the mud, huh?”
"Among his people, he entrusted YOU with our protection, because YOU were the one he trusted the most. Remember, right? Then what is this?”
Ashv aggressively shoved his injured hand in front of Gan. The stench of burning skin combined with the pus seeping out of the wound would make anyone barf. But even with all that, Gan stood there, silently.
“What will you say to my father? That you did this because I killed two ‘innocent’ fucking animals? ”
“Because of just some worthless creatures that we were meant to eat, you did this to me? What do you think father would feel about this, Gan?”
Seeing that Gan was not replying to him at all, he thought that he had Gan in his grasp. There was only one thing left for him to do now: get Gan out of here.
“Then, young master, what do you want me, your loyal dog to do now? What do I have to do for you to forgive me?”
This time, Gan replied. The choice of words obviously was meant as sarcasm but because Ashv was so high on the delusion of his, he couldn’t see through the meaning that Gan intended. He only had one thing in mind, and that was to get these two out of his way.

“Guess you still have the loyalty in you, Gan. For a dog like you who has bitten his master’s hand, what do you think father would have done? Probably would have sliced off your head by now.” Now seemingly relaxed, Ashv slowly started to circle around Gan while talking in a low voice.
"But you see, I am not such a tyrant as my father. You have nurtured me, taught me, and protected me from childhood. I have loved you like how a son would love his father. But I never expected that the man I thought of as my second father would hurt me like this. You proved yourself nothing but a rabid dog, Gan.”
He stopped in front of Gan looked into his eyes. His greed urgency blinded him, so he was unaware of the sinister face that he was reflecting in Gan’s eyes. For Gan, whose eyes were fixed on Ashv, the face reminded him of some unknown memories, and when he remembered them, his heart ached.
When he saw Ashv as he had known him since birth, he couldn't believe the face in front of him was the same. The innocent face of the child who would hide behind him when his brother would tease him or when he would bawl out his eyes while hugging him when he got an earful of lectures from his father.
What is standing in front of him isn’t the Ashv of his, but rather a devil.
“Gan, I am giving you the last chance. Cut the tongue that dared to invoke that magic to attack me and cut the hands from which you attacked me. Afterward, please be gone from my face and I will never let this thing out in front of my brother or father. Don't come back to our land as I banish you.”
As he finished his words, Ashv felt he had come to the end of the calamity in his life and nothing could hold him back any longer. But because of these foolish thoughts, he couldn’t see the shadow rising behind him.
“So, hurry and do the deed al-”
Grab!
From behind a big hand suddenly grabbed his head. As Ashv felt the spine-chilling grip on his head, he was overcome with goosebumps all over his body. He immediately recognized the hand from just a touch. But before he could utter a single word, the man behind him turned Ashv towards him by his head.
Ashv's soul nearly escaped from his body when he looked at the face in front of him. His brother, who was meant to be sleeping in the tent, is now standing in front of him, clutchinghis head tightly.
“Even after what happened before, you still couldn’t keep this side of yours inside you, huh?”
“B-B-Broth...ARGHH!!”
Just as the word brother was about to escape Ashv’s mouth, the older brother applied more pressure to his grip as the pressure on Ashv’s skull intensified.
“Do not call me brother from that vile mouth of yours. And what were you plotting behind my back? To banish Gan? On whose authority?”
“ARGHH!!!”
“Tch!”
The older brother swung Ashv and threw him towards his tent as Ashv crash-landed on the tent.
“Gan, prepare to leave. We cannot let this fucker be out anymore or else who know what else he will plot.
“Yes, Young Master.”
Glancing towards the place where the older brother threw Ashv, Gan retreated and hurried to saddle the horses for their departure while leaving the older brother and Ashv behind.
“Hey, fucker. Get up. I know that you are acting.”
The older brother spoke as he walked towards where Ashv was lying. Ashv stayed between the tents, not speaking. However, that didn't matter to his older brother anymore as he considered Ashv not a brother, but an enemy that posed a threat to both him and his family.
“Drop the act now and come out, Ashv. Do not try to test my patience. You have crossed all the limits by trying to give that ridiculous order to Gan. Now get up before I myself break you and pick you up.”
Ashv did not reply to him at all when he reached near the tent. Instead, he pretended silence while still entangled in the tent. Irritated, the older brother had enough as he then walked upon the tent and grabbed on what looked like Ashv’s arm.
“I said get upppp!!”
“DIEEE!!!”
