…I will seriously have to learn how to control that skill better. Thankfully no one was around. I should get downstairs and eat breakfast. I should also ask Mom to pack lunch for me, I forgot to eat it yesterday. I run downstairs and see Mom and Dad already sitting down and waiting for me.
[Me] “Hey Mom~”
[Mom] “Hi sweetheart!”
I happily take a bite of my toast. Quickly finishing up my eggs I notice my mom glaring at my outfit. I decide to take incentive since it does not seem like she will talk about it any time soon.
[Me] “Hey Mom, why are you staring at me like that?”
[Mom] “Honey… you are aware that the festival is today, right?”
Festival? What festival??? I don’t remember anything about that!
[Dad] “Judging by your face you have no idea what were talking about. Every 10 years we celebrate the Festival of the Blood Moon. We have no idea how it began, but everyone participates anyway.”
[Mom] “And yes, you are participating.”
[Me] “…Must I?”
[Mom] “Yes.”
Noooooooooooooooooo!!! I-if I go to the festival everything will be ruined! Why? MY. BAD. LUCK.
After eating I try to sneak away went suddenly Mom shots me an evil glare. Her hand grips my arm tightly and I look towards Dad begging for help. Dad, of course, ignores me and Mom takes me up to my room. She then pulls out a sky-blue dress and forces it upon me. She also takes the time to put a ribbon in my hair. I sat on my bed sulking until Dad comes in carrying a teddy bear. I smile with glee and hold it to my chest. I love teddy bears because my luck can’t do much to them. If you drop them it does not matter, if you cut them they can be sewn, and if it gets dirty it can be washed.

[Dad] “Come on my little angel, let’s go to the festival.”
[Me] “Okay!”
Being in a good mood, I hold Dad’s hand and leave the house. Opps… it seems as if Mom if sulking in the corner…
[Me] “Come on Mom!”
Moms eyes light up as a kid’s would on Christmas. She suddenly pops up right beside me and starts walking beside me.
The streets are lined up with lights and people are bustling back and forth. The mood in the air is festive (no duh) and there are many foreign people here as well. I run up to the nearest stall and look up at the stall owner. For some reason his expression changes many times as he gazes back at me, but when I point out the candy that I wanted he seemed to straighten himself and gave it to me. I pass the nice man the money and run back to my parents.
This sort of thing keeps happening, including the random expressions, until we arrive at the church. Hmm… is it just me or does the church look different? Wait… now I remember, the box said that I caused… oh no… crud they saw me.
One priest saw me and his eyes widened and he walked over to an important looking priest and he looked over at me as well. When his eyes caught mine his eyes too widened and he fell down on his knees and prayed. He prayed RIGHT THERE facing ME. You can guess what happened after that. One after another everyone looked at me and formed a circle. They then all started to kneel and pray. Nonononono, please stop!

WHAT?! No, you stop announcing my presence! The guy to my left then lifted a magic tube which amplifies noise and shouted.

AREA ANNOUNCEMENT!
The Village of Serfin has completely dedicated it’s self to their Goddess Ivy!

Why?! No, stop bowing before me! I am no Goddess, I just happened to meet them! *Sniff* *Sniff*
I then run as fast as possible away from the crazies and end up deep in the forest pretty quickly. I then sit on a log and let a few tears out. That was so embarrassing! My dumb luck!
[?] “U-um can you help me? I-I’m lost, and n-need directions.”
Hmm? I wipe away my tears and look at where the voice came from. In front of me is a cute little boy dressed richly and looking my way.
[?] “My name’s Ryan.”
He smiles my way and offers his hand. He is too cute.
---------Ryan’s POV----------
[Me] “My name’s Ryan.”
I offer the crying beauty my hand in order to help her up. She momentarily looks flustered, but takes my hand in the end. I was nervous when I first saw her because she is so beautiful, but since she is here she must know the way back.
I am the first prince of Esteria, and I should have my royal guards with me. Despite this it felt too awkward with them following me around EVERYWHERE, so I did the best thing I could; I ditched them with my luck. My luck stat is the highest stat I have, being at 230. That is the highest luck stat ever seen on Aredia, so I am pretty confident in it. Unfortunately it only gets me so far, and that is why I got lost.
[Beauty] “So how did you even get this far into the woods alone anyway?”
[Me] “Ehh? That doesn’t seem like something you should be asking.”
I mean, how does such a beauty get this far into the woods alone anyway? I can make it because of my luck, but what about her? Maybe she also has a lot of luck?
I turn to my left and see a large saber tooth demonic beast. How is this possible?! These things are rare, and with my luck we should not have seen any demonic beast! Only the EXTREMLY misfortunate would ever encounter these! Has my luck forsaken me?
Just then I see the beauty pull out a sword and hand me her teddy bear. Why was such a cute girl carrying a sword? No, where was she carrying such a thing? She then runs up to the saber tooth and confronts it. It was then that I checked the level of the demonic beast.
Saber Tooth Tiger (Level 635)
I about fainted right there and then. Why is this happening?! My luck is the best of the best, but now we encounter such a high level beast?! This is something only my royal guards or extremely high level adventurers can take care of?! I now regret it, leaving behind my royal guards just because I found them embarrassing. Now I am going to die here and so is the beauty that is so desperately trying to defend me. *Sniff* I-I don’t want to die! *Sniff*
[Beauty] “Are you okay?”
[Me] “Wh-what happened?!”
[Beauty] “Oh, it’s dead.”
What? Did I hear her correctly? I look in the directing of the Saber Tooth and see a headless corpse. I look back at the beauty and see is smiling at me and I suddenly feel warm and comfortable.
[Beauty] “Should we head back?”
[Me] “Y-yes”
She then giggles slightly and walks forward again. I am left with no other choice but to follow her. I walk in silence and we soon reach the edge of the forest. I see my royal guard looking for me, but the beauty was to preoccupied looking at something in front of her. No matter how much I look I see nothing, so she probably just leveled up once or twice and is looking over her new stats. She then snaps her head up and smiles.
[Beauty] “Good bye!~”
[Me] “A-ah yeah. Bye!”
She then runs away and soon I am once again alone. It was then I realized I forgot to get her name. *Sigh* I walk over to one of my guards and then all are relieved when they find me. We start heading back to the carriage when one of my guards asks me a question.
[Guard] “U-um Prince Ryan, where did you get the teddy bear?"
What? What teddy bear? I look down and in my arms I notice that I have the beauty’s teddy bear still with me. I can’t give this back because I don’t know her name, so I desided to treasure this gift. I will forever have it with me and keep it with me. I will remember her by it, and I will look for her again.
[Me] “It’s my treasure.”
[Guard] “O-oh.”
