----------Evil God’s POV----------
[Me] “Where is she?!”
I snarl my question at the trembling worm in front of me. His fragile body is littered with many wounds that I caused out of anger. A young child is attempting at hiding under the worm’s cart. Huh. So it seems as if this guy does have a profession.
[Merchant] “I-I don’t k-know s-sir…”
[Me] “You. Don’t. KNOW?!?! REALLY now? Should I take the liberty of asking the trembling bug hiding underneath your cart? I wonder if SHE will give the answers I need?”
The bug begins to cry harder, which succeeds in further annoying me. Right as I was about to take action the worm beings to speak.
[Merchant] “No! Please don’t hurt her!!!”
[Me] “Then answer my QUESTION!”
[Merchant] “…”
[Me] “So your own offspring means nothing to you then?”
[Merchant] “No! She means the world to me! Ever since her mom died…”
[Me] “Spare me the sob story!”
[Merchant] “Sorry! Goddess Ivy is located in the town of Serfin, two towns over!”
[Me] “Which direction?”
[Merchant] “N-north!”
[Me] “See? Wouldn’t that have been easier if you said so before I had to ‘convince’ you?”
The pathetic worm whimpers, and I leave him to his disgrace along with his offspring. Swiftly, I walk away.
----------Merchant’s POV----------
(A few moments earlier)
It’s nearing dusk, and my daughter and I are traveling from Serfin selling our wares and spreading the word of Goddess Ivy. We were converted to believers last month when we visited Serfin, and ever since my daughter has been more joyful. Now we were on the road when suddenly a cloaked figure stepped out of the shadows
[Cloaked figure] “Where is she?”
[Me] “Excuse me, where is who?”
[Cloaked figure] “HER! THE SELF PROCLAIMED GODDESS IVY!!!”
The man’s cloak falls out of place and his features are of that short of the abbess. His silver hair is in disarray, and his skin is an unearthly gray color. His pupils are dilated and are pure black. His teeth are sharp and numerous, while is claws are just the same. His body is giving off an unnatural amount of mana, making my daughter and I cower.
He snarls, angrily, and begins to head in my direction. I can’t rick running and letting that beast take my daughter, so, upon instruction her to hide, I confront him. The result? I’m left with many wounds covering my body while the ground eagerly sucks up my blood. I hear my daughter sobbing underneath my cart, and the demonic figure threatens me with her safety. Giving in, I tell the creature the location of Goddess Ivy, and I am dropped. My knees crumble underneath me, yet despite this I smile. He dares to challenge Goddess Ivy? He’s a dead man walking. Fufufufufu….

----------Ivy’s POV----------
Fuuuu…
I was finally able to sneak out of the house. I need to train more, after all who knows what sort of enemies lay in wait for me. Also, taking advantage of my cheat seems nice…
[Me] “Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand begin!”
Thousands of beings of misfortune attack me at full power, and I retaliate against them. I need to practice my skills and level up some more and these creatures I summon can help me do that.
*Boom* *Crash*
Wow, what a racket that this makes. Thank goodness I set up a sound barrior ahead of time, otherwise the entire village would wonder what’s up! Alright, lets get started! Instantly I realease a small chunck of my mana into the air to warm up. As I get into position I feal the presence of another person in the area. Wait… don’t tell me…
I turn and notice that a cloaked figure is fighting against one of my medium / weakest summons, and I quickly take out my swords and kill all the other summons. Upon clearing them out I notice that the cloaked figure is still fighting the being of misfortune. I stand there and watch the fight, hoping that I will be able to witness something that will help me grow stronger. After twenty minutes of an extremely boring match, the figure finally kills the being of misfortune.
[Cloaked figure] “Haa…haa…haa… are… you…Goddess…Ivy?!”
*Sigh* Not another one. Last person that asked me that ended up finishing our talk with a ‘I will spread your word across the land!’.
[Me] “…yes… you are…?”
[Cloaked figure] “I am the Evil God, and I am here to destroy you!”
[Me] “Right…”
Well… that is a new one. Is he really a God? He took off his clock and I saw his impossibly handsome features. That’s not fair! Why couldn’t I have looked like that in my past life! Wuu…
[Self Proclaimed Evil God] “You… ARE YOU TAKING ME SERIOSLY?!?!”
Hmm… he seems angrily. Maybe he is really strong, but was hiding his strength with his fight to make me underestimate him… I should be really careful…
[Me] “Yes, you are here to fight?”
[Self Proclaimed Evil God] “No. I am here to DESTROY you!”
[Me] “Same thing.”
[Self Proclaimed Evil God] “Wha… No it isn’t!”
[Me] “Right… well let’s get started.”
I smile a bit at him, because it’s the polite thing to do, and begin raising my mana levels. Since I said I am taking him seriously, I can’t make fun of him and hold back. THAT would be very rude of me.
Suddenly the poor man begins to sweat a ton, and he looks a little faint. Is he preparing a super strong spell? Just to be sure I raise my mana levels a little higher and my opponent passes out. Well that was… anticlimactic. Poor man must have tried to use a supper high level spell and his body just couldn’t handle it. Poor, poor guy.
Guess that means that he wasn’t a god after all, right?
----------Evil God’s POV----------
As I am searching around for this so-called Goddess Ivy I stumble across some sort of sound barrier. Who put this here? Perhaps it was my target. Thinking this I rush ahead until I hear some sort of noises.
*Boom* *Crash*
Sweat rolls down my temple as I wonder what is causing all those noises… it wasn’t until I saw the source for my own eyes that I began to tremble. Thousands of the Goddess of Misfortune’s personal servants are being trained PERSONALY by their own mistress. The levels of mana that she is emitting are enough to force me to make a barrier around me to protect my own mana.
As I was watching her in awe, one of her servants noticed me. Being the dutiful servant it was, it began to fight me. Expecting the fight to be easy, I did not go all out. I was wrong. I should have expecting servants being personally trained by her would be extremely strong. Thankfully, after what seemed like hours, I finally finished up the fight and looked up to see Goddess Ivy looking at me curiously.
[Me] “Haa…haa…haa… are… you…Goddess…Ivy?!”
Panting because of my last serious fight I ask the question that has been on my mind. I look around and notice that all of her other servants are gone. Huh, she must have sent them away somewhere else to train.
[Goddess Ivy] “…yes… you are…?”
[Me] “I am the Evil God, and I am here to destroy you!”
[Goddess Ivy] “Right…”
What… WHAT DOES SHE MEAN ‘RIGHT’?! Is she… is she making fun of me?!?!
[Me] “You… ARE YOU TAKING ME SERIOSLY?!?!”
[Goddess Ivy] “Yes, you are here to fight?”
[Me] “No. I am here to DESTROY you!”
[Goddess Ivy] “Same thing.”
[Me] “Wha… No it isn’t!”
[Goddess Ivy] “Right… well let’s get started.”
She then gave me a small smile that, for some inconspicuous reason, gave me goose bumps. She then began to give out more and more mana until even my barrier could not handle the stress that she was putting on it. I switched into my demonic demon form and felt a little better… that is until she decided she needed to give off even MORE mana! The last thing I saw was her small smile until my vision went black.
(An hour latter)
Mmm… what feels so good? Is this, healing magic? Who? Where?
Slowly, I open my eyes to see I am laying in a meadow. Looking up I see the most beautiful being in all existence looking down at me. She smiles a little and offers me her hand, and all I can think is ‘can I really sully this hand by taking it into my own?’ NEVER!
[Goddess Ivy-sama] “Are you alright?”
[Me] “You… you saved me?”
[Goddess Ivy-sama] “Of course, I couldn’t just let you die.”
That is true. Her mana pressure was so huge it caused me to pass out and be at risk for death. Even as a minor god I could not stand up to her mana pressure alone. But still… the question persists… why did she save me?
[Goddess Ivy-sama] “Are you okay?”
[Me] “Y-yes Goddess Ivy-sama!”
[Goddess Ivy-sama] “W-what?”
[Me] “I, Malum the Evil God, will forever serve you!”
[Goddess Ivy-sama] “Wait a minute…”
[Me] “No matter where you go I will go! My followers are your followers! My loyalty is yours to keep! I shall never betray you, oh mighty goddess! I now, and will always, live for you!!!”
[Goddess Ivy-sama] “Ah… umm… uhhh…”
Wow, it seems as if she is speechless at my loyalty! No need to worry my beautiful, my goddess! I will forever follow you and help you! All hail Goddess Ivy-sama!
