Book Four: Chapter 23

Roger sat on the sandy beach with his legs crossed, watching the waves rhythmically crash into the shore. The Cerberus women sat next to him, all gazing at the stunning sunset in the distance.

Elysium looked like Heaven in the Underworld, a place where all the good worthy souls could rest in peace. Roger thought he should get the chance to visit it before he returns to Earth with the Cerberus women. A great choice he made.

Cilla sighed contentedly. "It's so beautiful here."

Roger smiled. "I think it's perfect."

Labda smiled at him. "It's been a while since we've had a chance to relax."

Roger took her hand, turning to face her. "I've been thinking about what Hades said, about the new age, and what it could mean for us."

Cilla's expression turned pensive. "I'm not sure what to think about that. It could mean a lot of things, good or bad."

This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.

Roger nodded. "Exactly. But I know one thing for sure."

Katina raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What's that?"

Roger smiled. "I love you all."

The Cerberus women looked at each other in surprise, taken aback by the admission.

Katina smiled. "We love you too, Roger."

Cilla spoke up nervously. "But what does that mean for us? Are we just going to be together until the new age comes?"

Roger took a deep breath and looked into their eyes, his expression earnest. "No, it means I want to spend the rest of my life with you, no matter what happens."

Labda's eyes began to fill with tears. "Roger..."

Katina looked nervous. "Are you sure about this?"

Roger smiled. "I've never been more sure of anything in my life."

Cilla, Labda, and Katina smiled at each other, their eyes shining with unshed tears.

Katina whispered, "Kiss us, Roger."

Roger leaned in, and they all kissed. It was slow and passionate, with the sun setting behind them.

Cilla, Labda, and Katina wrapped their arms around Roger, and he held them tightly.

"I'm so lucky to have you three in my life," Roger whispered.

"We're the lucky ones," Katina whispered back.

They continued to embrace as the sun set, their love shining as bright as the stars that were starting to appear in the sky.

The scene faded to black as they held each other, enjoying the moment and the beauty of the world around them.
