Chapter 113: Two Photos.

The entire analysis process lasted less than five seconds, and Lin Yue had already completed her final judgment on the matter.

"First, the future is not fixed; it changes with the different choices people make. Therefore, the so-called prophecies in the magical world are more like a part of shaping a future rather than a decisive factor."

"The only decisive factor for the future is people."

Lin Yue's gaze slowly shifted to Harry. "So the biggest factor that can determine whether your future ends in death is yourself, Harry."

"Second," Lin Yue paused for two seconds, and ultimately stated the harsh truth with a blank expression, "Based on the experiences of the past two years, we can basically conclude that Voldemort has not truly died."

Hearing that name, an unnamed anger surged in Harry's heart, Ron involuntarily shivered, and Hermione nodded at Lin Yue.

"He is merely in a weakened state and unable to manifest. The one Voldemort most wants to kill is Harry."

At this point, Lin Yue tilted her head. Although her face still showed no expression, her tone carried a rare sense of inevitability.

"So as long as he doesn't die, Harry is in danger every day. Why worry about such a prophecy?"

Voldemort didn't die, and he was always in danger of losing his life. Harry raised his hand and scratched his messy hair.

"That makes sense... I really don't need to worry at all."

A clear sense of relief appeared on his face, as he had been overly concerned about the large black dog he had seen by the roadside earlier.

With this mental knot untied, Harry and Ron continued to chat and laugh as they walked towards the Great Hall.

Hermione, linking arms with Lin Yue, followed behind the two boys, shaking her head as she watched them joke around.

Really... they can't hold onto any worries for even a moment, those boys.

Lin Yue looked at Harry's back, and two thoughts quickly connected in her mind.

Harry said he saw a large black dog when he left the Dursleys for the summer, and later he went to stay in Diagon Alley, where she noticed a large black dog following Harry.

Moreover, that large black dog could be identified as an Animagus.

Lin Yue linked these two large black dogs together, classifying them as the same one.

After all, if it were just a coincidence, it would be too coincidental, a bit far-fetched.

So that large black dog must be transformed by some wizard, and the purpose is clearly related to Harry.

But who that wizard is and what their intentions are remains unknown; the only thing she could ascertain is that they likely have no ill intentions towards Harry.

Otherwise, Harry wouldn't have been able to go to Diagon Alley with her and Hermione; something should have happened to him the very night he left the Dursleys.

With incomplete information, Lin Yue's mind responded, and the process of reasoning was interrupted again. It was now clear that the illegal Animagus who turned into the large black dog had the purpose of being around Harry.

But that was all; there was no further information.

The afternoon Transfiguration class was attended by Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff together, and in class, Lin Yue undoubtedly showcased her ability to earn points once again.

Given her level of skill in performing Animagus transformations, the current Transfiguration class posed no difficulty for her at all.

Professor McGonagall looked at her student with satisfaction. Although Lin Yue's own efforts and talent played a significant role, she had taught Lin Yue some things, which did not prevent her from feeling proud of having taught Lin Yue. As a result of her pride in Lin Yue, Professor McGonagall generously awarded her twenty-five points to commend her outstanding Transfiguration skills demonstrated in class.

The older students heading to the Great Hall for dinner were already accustomed to the sudden increase in Ravenclaw's number of points. Only the first-year students were shocked by how quickly Ravenclaw was accumulating points. One first-year little eagle even tugged at her senior beside her, asking if there was a problem with the point-scoring hourglass, wondering how it was possible for Ravenclaw's points to rise so much in just one day.

Looking across at the other three hourglasses, which only had a few gems, Ravenclaw's hourglass stood out prominently. The senior, who was tugged by the first-year Ravenclaws, put down her knife and fork, glanced at the hourglass, and then shook her head, speaking in a calm tone. "The hourglass isn't broken; in fact, no one has ever seen it broken. It's something left by the four founders, so it's not that easy to break."

"So our points..." the first-year Ravenclaws asked.

"Very high, and they’re increasing quickly, right?"

"Yes, yes!" the first-year Ravenclaws nodded vigorously.

The senior turned her head to look at Lin Yue, who was sitting not far away, focused on her meal, and a gentle, affectionate smile appeared on her face. "Because our house has Lin Yue. With her around, it's normal for us to earn points like this. You'll get used to it."

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.

The first-year Ravenclaw's eyes widened, and she stared at Lin Yue with her mouth agape, suddenly feeling that this third-year senior was incredibly tall...

Completely unaware that someone was watching her, Lin Yue finished her dinner seriously, straightened up, and wiped her mouth.

"Are you full?"

Cho Chang took a sip of pumpkin juice and turned to ask Lin Yue, "Are you full?" Lin Yue nodded lightly. "Are you going to the library?" Marietta chimed in, swallowing a bite of steak. "I need to borrow some books." "Then let's go together." Cho Chang and Marietta quickly finished their food and stood up to follow Lin Yue to the library.

Seeing this scene at the Gryffindor long table during dinner, Hermione grabbed a piece of bread and got up to chase after them. "Merlin... she can't even wait to eat now?" Ron, holding a drumsticks in each hand, looked in shock at Hermione's back, thinking that nothing was more important than eating. "It's Hermione in love, although it's one-sided," Harry said while cutting a lamb chop. However, whether it was truly one-sided love was something no one knew.

Although Lin Yue couldn't give a response right now, the various things she did... it was really hard to say that she hadn't given Hermione a response to her feelings. "Oh~" Ron took a big bite of his chicken leg and mumbled, "The taste of love."

Upon entering the library, Lin Yue quickly grabbed the books she needed to read in order and sat down, starting to read and memorize at the fastest speed.

Cho Chang, Marietta, and the following Hermione each borrowed a book they needed and sat down next to Lin Yue to start reading.

Flipping through one book after another, memorizing one after another, Lin Yue was urged by Hermione to maintain a routine of taking a break every hour of reading.

Just as she was taking her last break, a first-year Ravenclaw approached her, a bit nervous, and handed her notebook to Lin Yue.

"Senior Lin Yue... I, I have a question I want to ask you."

While reviewing the material they learned today, she encountered some concepts she didn't understand and remembered that the seniors had mentioned before that if they had questions, they could ask Lin Yue.

Lin Yue would patiently explain things to them, and now she happened to be in the library, not reading but resting. So, the little Ravenclaw mustered up the courage to confidently approach Lin Yue to ask her questions.

Lin Yue took the notebook handed to her by the little Ravenclaw , quickly scanning the question on it. At the same time, her brain was working rapidly, and without a moment's pause, she articulated her thoughts, methods, and the final result of solving the problem.

The little Ravenclaw beside her nodded continuously, her eyes growing brighter with each word. Lin Yue's explanation was clear and comprehensive; through this one question, she was able to discuss all the related knowledge points she deemed useful.

The little Ravenclaw listened with admiration on her face, thinking, " Senior Lin Yue is right; she is indeed the treasure of Ravenclaw!"

More and more first-year little eagle chicks were drawn over, surrounding Lin Yue as they listened to her explain the problem. Once she finished, they eagerly handed her their own questions, asking for her help in explaining them.

The little Ravenclaws lined up one by one, creating a lively yet orderly atmosphere.

Cho Chang and Marietta exchanged smiles and shared a glance, each taking out a camera as previously agreed upon. They positioned themselves at two angles and began snapping photos of Lin Yue and the little Ravenclaw s gathered around her.

These photos needed to be taken promptly and preserved, as they would be of great use in the future.

Seeing Cho Chang and Marietta continuously pressing the shutter on their cameras aimed at Lin Yue and the little Ravenclaw s, Hermione blinked in confusion.

Why did Senior Cho Chang and Senior Marietta suddenly decide to take pictures of Lin Yue?

But she figured they must have their own plans. Shaking her head, she dismissed these thoughts and focused her ears on Lin Yue's explanation.

Although the questions came from first-year little wizards, Lin Yue's breadth of knowledge was so extensive that many of the extended topics she discussed were also very useful for Hermione, an excellent third-year student.

After explaining the questions to the little Ravenclaws curfew was approaching. Lin Yue returned to her seat, packed her things, borrowed a book from Madam Pince, and then left the library.

Hermione affectionately hugged her arm while Cho Chang Zhang and Marietta happily looked at the photos, they had just taken behind her.

That night, almost all the first-year students of Ravenclaw recognized her as the Ravenclaw darling.

With such a good personality, a wide range of knowledge, and the ability to boost their grades, isn’t she a treasure? Absolutely a treasure!

Just one day later, they understood what the upperclassmen had said at the start-of-term feast—that they would eventually figure it out.

“Tomorrow is our first Defense Against the Dark Arts class. I wonder how this year’s class will be,” Hermione said while drying her hair after a shower. Cho Chang and Marietta, who were sitting on the bed opposite her, looked up at the same time.

“It should be fine, right? Professor Lupin has used the Patronus Charm before, which proves that he at least has some skills and isn’t a useless person like Lockhart.”

“Yeah,” Marietta nodded in agreement, “and he seems pretty normal, not as flashy as Lockhart and not as stutter as Quirrell.”

Hermione raised her hand, somewhat amused and exasperated, covering her face. "Hearing this, it really does seem like Professor Lupin is quite good."

Indeed, everyone's standards for the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor were no longer about how well they taught. It was more about whether the person could be considered normal and had some capability.

"I remember Lin Yue is also taking this class tomorrow, right?" Cho Chang looked at Lin Yue, who was sitting at the desk reading.

Hearing her full name, Lin Yue closed her book and turned to nod. "Yes, this year, the third years from Gryffindor and Ravenclaw are taking the Defense Against the Dark Arts class together."

"That makes things easier," Marietta clapped her hands together, putting her hands in a prayer position. "Please, Lin Yue, check tomorrow if Professor Lupin teaches well. If he doesn't... we'll just do what we did last semester and continue with the study group."

Lin Yue nodded and mechanically replied, "Okay, no problem."

Hermione pressed her lips together, knowing that having such thoughts was really wrong, very wrong. But... why did she have a tiny bit of a desire for Professor Lupin's teaching to not be that good? Just a little bit, just a tiny bit.

After six hours of sleep and a breakfast, Lin Yue and Hermione walked into the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom together. Inside the classroom stood a large, ancient-looking wardrobe, and Professor Lupin smiled and waved at Lin Yue and Hermione as they entered.

"Good morning, Miss Lin Yue, Miss Granger."

Lin Yue nodded blankly, "Good morning, Professor Lupin." At the same time, her mind paused slightly; she realized she had never encountered a professor who arrived earlier than her before.

Hermione politely smiled and greeted Professor Lupin.

"I really am not used to being called 'Professor' by anyone," Professor Lupin said with a laugh, shaking his head as he reached back to pat the wardrobe behind him.

"This is what I will be using in class today, well, to be precise, it's a kind of creature that is locked inside the wardrobe."

Lin Yue's gaze quickly swept over the wardrobe, instinctively wanting to say the name of the creature inside along with Hermione.

"Not yet," Professor Lupin said with a wry smile, waving his hand. "I'll ask questions when class starts."

"I've heard about Miss Granger from Gryffindor and Miss Lin from Ravenclaw, and now that I've met you, you both truly are impressive students."

"Professor, you're too kind," Hermione said, her face slightly flushed.

"I'm just doing what I should do as a student," Lin Yue shook her head, her voice calm and without any ripple.

Professor Lupin was taken aback for a moment and didn't say anything further. This Lin Yue, who was quite famous at Hogwarts, was indeed "special."

Thinking back to when he first joined, how Professor Dumbledore had specifically mentioned Lin Yue's situation, he couldn't help but let out a silent sigh in his heart.

This was also a child who had suffered greatly; having been infected by a werewolf since childhood, he could better understand just how despairing a painful childhood could be.

If it weren't for later entering Hogwarts and having friends like James and Peter, he really didn't know what he would have become.

But that traitor Sirius... Professor Lupin tightened his grip on his wand at this thought.
