Chapter 55: Awoken
"How could you," she whimpered between strained breaths. Her long brown hair covered her face but even so, he could feel her piercing gaze as her knees met the ground and the blade sunk deeper into her heart. The man dug it deeper causing a spurt of blood to spout from the woman's mouth and on to her hair.
"how could you." She whimpered again half confused, half in anguish. All around her were thousands of soldiers all with pointed weapons and reddened eyes, they had all come to kill her; they were filled with an insatiable rage for thousands perhaps more than a million lives had already been lost to her. After so many years of combat, in only a single day, a single man was enough to end her life.
She had fought for so many years, she would never sleep and her time in combat never ceased, her days were filled with bloodshed but the humans would not listen to her, they only attacked and attacked her and wore her down but she wouldn't give up so easily, even as her heart lay impaled she would not surrender her life so easily, no that boiling feeling in the depth of her soul wouldn't allow it. the woman's body grew still and suddenly with a burst of energy, she grabbed hold of the man's arm refusing to release him. the man, startled, tried to pull away but to no avail, the woman had monstrous strength beyond that of any human.
“I’ll kill you Sarec!!!!" she shouted at the heavens as if making some declaration to the true gods. "I'll Kill YOU!!!" tears dropped from her cheeks and onto the floor as her sorrow transformed into wrath.
"Tomb!!!" She shouted and the man suddenly realized what she was attempting to do and managed to pull her arm away in time to dig the dagger deeper, he then pulled it out and then dug the blade back into her heart but she refused to fall
, it longer matter of if she died, as long as he would accompany her.
"I'll kill you sarec!!!" she screamed as the cavern walls began to collapse and consume the army with its mighty weight. In nearly an instant an army three thousand strong was buried beneath the earth but even so her rage did not quell, she shouted underneath the darkness and cried to the heavens to forgive her foolishness.

“it's your turn to guard the altar.” The young half dragon nodded and took the older half dragons place but a soon as they traded places the ground began to shake, the decorations fell from the cavern walls and the statue of their beloved goddess slowly began to crumble.
"SAREC!!!!!" a loud shout bellowed from beneath the earth causing the cavern walls to crumble. The Young Half-Dragon was startled and for a moment thought it was end times but the older Half-Dragon was different, he appeared ecstatic. "Call the elders!!! Today is a momentous day!!!" the Half-Dragon nodded and without question went to fetch the elders, some of which were already on wolf back heading towards them an astounding speed.
The other elders joined soon after and they had just barely arrived in time to witness their goddess awake from her deep slumber.
The rumbling continued and the elders grew anxious when suddenly everything stopped and only a moment after, large scaly claws sprouted from the earth and slammed down only a few inches from the elders, the elders took several steps back realizing that they were too close. The claw dug its talons into the earth, scarring its surface the mighty beast lifted its other claw and used it to aid itself out of the earth. Its deep brown scales glimmered in the torchlight creating an immense sense of awe in the elders but they quickly collected themselves and knelt down with heads down in preparation to great their goddess.
Her head came next, and then her torso and finally her hind legs, using her power she made the cavern large enough to fit her massive body. her first words after her long slumber were,"you, are still here?" she towered over them and huffed a breath as if to intimidate them. "Yes, our Goddess." The Dragon cocked her head back and released some smoke from her nostrils. "Do as you wish, but first, I must ask." her voice was eerie and her head moved closer to them and once her teeth wear close enough to consume the elders, she spoke again.
"why is there… A HUAMAN IN MY REALM!!!!" she shouted causing the cavern and even the outside to tremble in fear. The lizardfolk outside only barely remained standing but the ones inside felt their hearts shutter and their legs surrender to the almighty glory of their goddess. The Half-dragons trembled as one elder spoke. "Recently a human appeared nearby and he attacked our people." The Dragon snarled as her talons dug deep into the earth as if trying to contain her anger.
“ Sarec…” she muttered, “is his name Sarec?” she asked and they responded as best they could. “Forgive us, goddess, but we do not know of any Sarec, the one here is named Scitus, he is a young god, less than a year old."
The dragon lifted its head, allowing the elders to relax.
"then I'll go pay him a visit." And with those words, She flew into the cavern ceiling and seemingly melded into it before disappearing. From the outside, countless worshipers fell to their knees as their goddess's shadow stretched over them as she flew higher into the sky as if searching for something and in the next moment her large wings glided downwards and headed towards its destination, the Kingdom Of Monsters.
