Nebel, Mitchell and Rosa were on their way towards the east.

They had spent a while preparing a list of “To Do” s for the technicians and some basic orders about how to maintain the ice statue and the northern trap. Some of the jobs included things like buying cable and siphoning power out of the underground facility, finishing off the job of clearing the collapsed tunnel, de-rusting and opening the forest side tunnel’s doors and selling off the unneeded low quality ingots that they weren’t allowed to keep anyway.

The ingots Nebel had made before he took back the valley technically weren’t included in this rule, but Nebel decided to sell them anyway. His technicians had managed to make deals over the internet with some of their contacts in the army, securing various things that weren’t covered by the rewards Nebel had obtained, such as the roofing tile and cement he had told them to buy, had been just given as an investment instead and the cable and the material for the water filters was also being brought to them free of charge.

The promised cost was that the town would be built to accommodate the full fifty thousand people promised as future inhabitants before Nebel would be allowed to own anymore land, which he viewed as perfectly fine and part of his original plan anyhow. To help with this, they were also sending a full set of heavy construction equipment on loan, a group of fifty workers, once there was at least prefab shelter for all of them and the materials and spare parts to fix the surviving foundries, pumping systems, mining cranes... the unusable ones not the modified ones... Build the administrative buildings and housing for the first five thousand and repair any other machines they could salvage.

All in all a sweet deal!

And with the extensive planning Nebel did with the urban development specialist, which had taken them only two days, thanks to the large amount of building plans that humanity had planned in advanced for when they managed to beat the mutants back.

“You have to hand it to Humanities limitless optimism in tough times...” was Nebel’s comment when he was showing the complete libraries size at just over ten terabytes...

Due to the plans all that they really had to plan was, the positions of buildings relative to the soon to be opened underground road, the various mines doting the valley, the paths into the mountains, where new collections of ores were sure to be discovered, the water filtration systems, the warehouse, which would be expanded once it was necessary and the spots where they were going to set up solar and wind generators.

Other than that there was only the placement and width of the roads, commercial area and things like power lines and piping, which a computer program calculated for them rather swiftly, using algorithms involving future population to calculate car and foot traffic, water and electricity usage and projected production if fifty percent more goods were being moved then the currently planned mines, foundries and factories could produce.

As for why they planned out power generation if there was an immense... as they found out when they checked the underground facilities control room... amount of power right below them. Even if they managed to siphon off power from the underground facility without making it shutdown or explode or something, they didn’t actually know where it was making its power, what it needed to make power or if the source was safe, so they decided not to rely on it past the initial building period.

Later Nebel was going to clear the rest of the paths and investigate the facility thoroughly but until then he set a little guard on the control room, which he had locked from inside by the two guards on duty and a blast door lowered on the temple corridor as well as the mountain top on just in case someone was interested in looting it while his back was turned.

Anyyywayyyy.... The trio were currently boarding the train to go into the city.

Since it would be much faster to just use public transportation until they reached the other side of the first city, they were going to ride a total of three trains to reach the other side with only a few short walks in between.

Along the way they were also going to stop at a few places and basically go shopping. Nebel wanted to stop by the adventurer’s office and Claire’s shop to see if he could pick up anything useful but Mitchell and Rosa had other things in mind.

The ride on the first train was uneventful but when they got off at the station, Nebel saw a figure looking around that he didn’t really want to see...

There was Maya looking left and right only a few meters away from where he was being half pushed by Mitchell and Rosa out of the train... all she had to do to see Nebel was look a little up and straight forwards, which is what she did only a moment later...

“Oh... Hey Neb! What’s up!” Maya says catching sight of him and strutting towards him “I was looking for you... oooohh who is that?”

The last bit was directed at Rosa who along with Mitchell had just moved to either side of Nebel to see why he had stopped walking. Nebel lets out a sign and puts his easy smile back into place.

“Oh hey Lessaya...” he says using a nick name for her “This is Rosa, a friend of mine from the academy... and you know Mitchell of course.”

Maya smiles seductively and takes Rosa’s hand in her own “It’s a pleasure to meet you Rosa, you have to go out shopping with me sometime.” She leans forwards as she does so sliding a slim nicely toned leg out of a slit running the length of her skirt as she talks after finishing her greeting she places her hand on her bare leg.

Rosa’s face goes a bit red and she hesitantly says “Ni... Nice to meet you... Lessaya?”

Maya smiles widely and says “That’s a nickname Nebel calls me, call me Maya.”

Maya turns to Mitchell and smiles in a more friendly less... you know... way, but there is still a little bit of “that” there “Hey Mitchell honey! How about the three of us go out on the town? My treat!” Maya looks at the two flanking Nebel and giggles slightly “Don’t worry NebNeb can come too!”

Nebel was glad that the dark time was over for a while but smiling inwards he thought “Well... the dark time for me anyway...”

Mitchell looked pretty cute having gone very red and Rosa looked confused and worried, it must have been the first time a lesbian woman hit on her... Mitchell on the other hand was one of those frequently tormented by lesbian Maya or Lessaya as Nebel called her (Les-bian M-aya -> Les-aya)

Nebel just laughing at his two companions’ distress accepted Maya’s invitation and the foursome led by a happy Nebel leave to browse the shopping district.

Their first stop was the adventurer’s office, where Mitchell pushed Maya’s attentions onto Rosa when she left to get the rewards for her last mission. Rosa struggled to be polite and kind to Nebel’s friend... simply because she was Nebel’s friend but Maya didn’t make it easy for her, whispering in her ear things like “How about we ditch these two and hang out?” and “I love your white mages robes can I feel it?”

To Rosa the second one seemed Innocent enough and she actually agreed... but of course, the next thing she knew Maya was standing much closer to her and was sliding her hands along her thighs and just over her butt... Rosa made a quick excuse after that and left in a hurry.

“I... I have to go report... excuse me!” she told her before pulling away and heading through a door marked “Authorised Personnel Only”

Maya laughs to herself and walks over to Nebel who was browsing the available jobs, looking for any he could do along the way. “It’s always so great hanging out with you NebNeb, there’s always so many cute girls to play with!”

Without looking away from the jobs, Nebel starts talking with her “I imagine you know those two aren’t lesbians right?”

Maya flicks her wrist in annoyance at the comment “It’s all genetics and hormone levels that make us like what we like... and they are NEVER perfectly balanced! Everyone is at least slightly bisexual.”

Nebel turns towards her at this one “Well that is true in theory but would you have sex with a man?”

Maya lifts her right hand and holds up two fingers which she lowers as she talks “If it’s part of a threesome or if I’m drunk, horny and can’t find a willing woman, I’ll sleep with one of my best-ies like you!” she smiles with a tiny bit of a seductive twist and slides a hand across his arm “For all I know one of the other mes got impregnated by you anyway.”

Nebel gets a little shock form this one “...The stalker you might have... have you checked!?”

Maya smiles and pulls back from him a bit “Don’t know! I just switched over yesterday and I haven’t checked!” she puts on a mischievous smile and moves up close to him again sliding her body up against him... what a tease... “Maybe I’ll wait a while before checking... if there’s anything there... I might just... let it bake!”

Nebel goes a bit whiter but also gets a bit turned on... it is his girlfriends body pressed up against him after all, even if her mind is a bit different at the moment! “...Shouldn’t you think about what the other you’s would think?” Nebel tries to reason with her.

“Pffttt... HAHAHAHA!” She breaks out laughing right into his ear, it takes her a little while to respond but she eventually does “I’m just messing with you Nebel! I already checked if I was pregnant, it was...Negative! Stalker me failed again! Not that I or the normal me would keep forced sex baby, i would have flushed it!”

Nebel pulls away from her and goes back to reading the available jobs, a little peeved at her...

She picks up on this and tries to make up for her joke in her... own special way “Hey NebNeb!? I was thinking about doing you if it’s with those two! Interested?”

Nebel just gives her a yes to shut her up and places all of his attention on the jobs...

A little while later... when they had both managed to brush off her advances... Mitchell and Rosa come back. Mitchell with her backpack quite a bit heavier and Rosa with tears in her eyes...

“I’ve been demoted...” was what she told them wiping away her tears “They wouldn’t even tell me why... all they said was keep sending in your reports!” the last part was with a bit of anger, Rosa was still crying but some of the tears seemed to be from her anger instead of her frustration.

Nebel gave her a few comforting words but he wasn’t as innocent as the two girls that started calming her down.

After Nebel had picked out a half a dozen jobs that needed to be done between here and the eastern city, the foursome head out to go shopping with the added job of calming Rosa down.

Nebel had a suspicion about Rosa’s demotion, hell what she had been told was a clear give away of the truth of the matter... Rosa had been transferred to the “Control the Aliens” department... into the position of a spy.

At the moment he didn’t really have any reason to do anything about it, hell knowing who’s a spy is way more useful then getting rid of a spy...

Im adding in a job chapter to try and space things out as well as things like shopping and some sexual harassment in the form of maya, I'll try to make it good... this is all to slow down the story a bit. if i rewrite, i'll add in more details and descriptions but this is what you get for now!
