The moment the pile of trash was turned into just an elevation, the army of over one hundred thousand players, who with their crazy amount of man power had been the force that like a tide had cleaned up what the heroes had ignored, ran up and over it towards their next prize! This was just after Bö was carried to the medical tents but the players weren’t privy to that info… since it was Bö’s job to tell them…
The stampede of players, raced down the other side and into the newly opened land, in only a few tens of minutes, using various abilities and machines, they were already out of the sight of the soldiers that were guarding the pass.
“Hey tom!” one soldier says to one of the other guards “Do you think anyone told them what to expect?”
The soldier named tom, looks towards the dust cloud rising towards the northeast. “I don’t think so, I saw lady Bö getting taken to the medical tent…”
“Hmmmmm…” The first soldier looks towards the dust cloud as well “I guess we’ll see how they take defeat won’t we!” The soldiers smile
A third soldier comes running over to the two with his display open “Hey guys, a buddy of mine set up a camera at the laboratories! Let’s watch!” The soldiers huddle together to watch…
In the display they watch a large empty room, once upon a time this space, just like where nebel first appeared, had been full of equipment just like all of the other areas that had been used to summon the aliens.
“ARGGGGHHHHHHHHH!” A man screams after suddenly appearing in the middle of the room, his shirt was rent in two, diagonally and he was kneeling with one hand on a sword, his other hand was empty and the sleeve was strangely short, falling from various spots of his body claws bounce and clatter on the ground.
At the same moment that he appeared, blood also appeared, splattering across the marble floor staining it red. The man collapses to one side and lets go of his sword to grab at his chest, feeling around for something.
Having failed to find whatever it was he was searching for, the man opens his tightly shut eyes and looks down at his chest incredulously before slapping his own face and getting to his feet once he had put his sword away.
Looking around himself the man picks up the claws and leaves the view of the camera...
“Pretty funny huh guys?!” the third soldier asks the others.
“Yeah I could watch them all day!” the first one tells him.
“I don’t know it was kind of boring...” tom speaks his opinion.
“Wait until you see one of the women!” the third one tells him “Their reaction is only half of it! Remember his shirt?”
The men huddle closer together and watch hundreds of people respawning, some of the videos even went viral at a later date... in both worlds in fact...

That day was a dark one for most players, a strange scene of blood and claws when they reappeared was the least of it. Most of them lost vital parts of their gear and weaponry since the hands they held them with were severed from their body and the respawn didn’t seem to include bringing along their lost pieces or their luggage if they had dropped it....
Some of the higher classed players even reported ghostly pains that lasted for hours afterwards and headaches. One of the videos that went viral early on had a player that for whatever reason picked up an incubi claw that had been stabbed into her arm before her death and rammed it back in...?!
The total death rate for the first wave of players that headed into succubus controlled land was nearly total annihilation, over ninety five percent died and the last five weren’t answering their friends calls, so they were either unconscious somewhere, gave up and logged out or were captured...
Another group was the cowards and opportunists, Andrea was one such player.
“Hey, hey hey!” Andrea calls out while dodging a spray of quick growing nails by using Stephanie as a human shield “Come get me you dick!”
Before scrambling away from the next spray of nails, Andrea pulls out a hand full of Succubus nails from Stephanie’s breasts and stuffs them in her pocket, an incubus descends on the moaning and blushing Stephanie and Andrea rushes around dodging attacks from a group of succubae while stabbing it in the back.
Eventually from just pure pleasure causing poison, Stephanie, just like a monkey with an electrode in its brain, forgets something important... like breathing and fades away and the whole group focuses on Andrea...
Pulling out a few egg shaped objects out of her bag, she performs an emergency exit in a puff of smoke and a dozen blasts with a myriad of effects, fire, shrapnel, poison gas and concussions occupy the Succubae while she makes a beeline for the pass.
Along the way she loots abandoned succubae corpses and as well as pick the pockets a few people... she was having a blast! So many things to grab! But... her bag was getting full... she would have to go dump some of it off soon...

Nebel left the game for a bit to make sure everyone’s sleep stat was listed as at least adequate before heading back in to go to a large list of classes he still had to finish.
The first one was listed as wind magic, but the professor that taught it to him, who was a woman wearing a sleepy expression and a floaty insubstantial dress, told him that the real form of it was Gas Manipulation, and it actually was for controlling all widely dispersed materials not just oxygen, carbon and nitrogen, and it was performed by controlling pressure. She went on to explain that unlike material manipulation, gas manipulation could cause damage directly with just its movement.
After that he dashed to a beach that was just to the south of the academy’s buildings, his next lesson listed as starting only five minutes after the last one and he didn’t want to miss anything, as it turned out he needn’t have worried.
The lesson was being given on a wave breaker a bit down the beach towards the city, a lean muscular man was giving this lesson and he was perfect for the job… in a very cliché way… his water magic teacher was a surfer guy with bleached hair, tanned skin and wearing only swimming trunks…
“Yo dude your early, I was going to catch a few more waves…” the surfer says “Well whatever… come on let’s get this over with.” The surfer sits on a rock and Nebel does the same.
“Nice to meet you, my name is…” Nebel starts his usual greeting.
“Wow man, no names!” the surfer says lifting both of his hands up to his chest and shaking them side to side “Names aren’t needed between bros! Just call me dude and I’ll do the same.”
If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.
Nebel mentally shakes his head “Ok…”
“OK… where was I again?” Dude the surfer scratches his chin and looks aimlessly around “Oh yeah! Liquid Manipulation!” he opens his mouth to continue but then points at Nebel “You’re a Hero Class right?”
“Yeah, I am… dude…” Nebel says, kind of liking the guy’s calm attitude but also kind of hating the slow pace of the class…
“Ok, then let’s start the class.” The surfer puts on a pair of glasses and straightens his posture, and his tone of voice which up until that moment was a slow drawl turns into the sounds of a highly educated professor “Liquid Manipulation is the art of controlling materials that have become liquids. As any idiot should be aware.”
The Surfer gesture towards the ocean and water gathers towards him in a slow spiral, like a hose thrashing around, to form a ball on his palm. “As you should know, as every drone that passes high school is taught this, liquid is a state of matter that is neither in unchanging like solid matter nor highly dispersed like gaseous materials.” He rolls the ball of water along his arm, over his neck and to his other arm before tossing it into the ocean. “Since it isn’t very spread out, like gases, or locked together, like solids, you neither have to break its group bonds, or use pressure to manipulate it, allowing you to keep the qualities that make it special while manipulating it and using a lower amount of power than either alternative.”
He draws another ball of water out of the ocean, this time by making nine small balls of water fly out and land in his hand. “At least in the case of Di-Hydrogen Monoxide, there is also the great feature of its self-adhesion which with a little help from your magic, can make the water stick to itself so well, that a single grouping of the elements in the form of water can lead a lake full up a mountain.”
The surfer scratches his head and picks up his surf board, which he had propped against a stone. “Well dude… the class is done but if you need anything… like call me… even if it’s just to talk…” the surfer walks away leaving him still very surprised… that was weird… even for him…
Running back to the campus he had both of his permanent spell classes and his class on advanced vectors before moving on to lightning magic. This time he had Mole teaching him once more, Mole told him it was just a matter of moving electrons from any source through your target and into the ground by lowering the electrical resistance in the path you wished it to take. There was also the possibility of pulling extra electrons from the very materials around you as well but he told him never to do so, the effects to the terrain could be incredibly dangerous and irreversible.
Finally the last class he had was magical studies. Walking through the library Nebel sees the boy who had replaced Rosa at the counter giving directions to a girl and some white robed women carrying books in the hall but otherwise it was pretty dead as it had been for the last day or so.
Arriving at a door marked magical studies; Nebel pushes it open and is greeted by Marcella. “Hey boy!” she says in greeting “You’re only the fifth person to take this class of all of alien kind!”
She smirks “It seems nearly nobody cares about why things are anymore. Come, sit.”
Nebel sits down and Marcella follows suit. “I can tell from your tired expression, that you want the quick version today so I’ll just give you that… even if it’s still pretty long…”
Marcella starts to tell him a story that almost feels familiar but also fells completely wrong.
She opens a book labelled “Short stories of Magical History” that was on a small table and reads a page out loud.
“Near the middle of the twenty first century, a great leader of men and a creator of wonders emerged, his name was ****** *******. Raised in an old aristocratic family in Europe, ****** grew up with all that he needed and more but also with an awareness for the tragedies of this world.”
“Having finished various engineering degrees and assisted in scientific studies, ****** met and gathered many dear friends, professionals who later gained fame at his side. One day he had an idea and led them in the creation of a machine that could fabricate any single piece of any machine known to man, this machine’s blue prints were given to the United Nations to assure that they would be used for the betterment of mankind.”
“But the man knew nothing about the dark side of humanity, knowing that it existed is quite different to having been raised among it. The main members of the united nations each took a copy and locked it away after making themselves as many units as they could produce, for a few years they only used it to build anything their countries needed while like always ignoring the needs of anyone else, tension between these five and the rest of the countries grew until finally war broke out with all of the countries that had been left out, allied by continent, against whichever of the big five was closest, they were doomed from the start, for the machine could produce the components of a plane or a tank in a fraction of the time conventional machines could… but this created suspicion and distrust among the five that eventually lead to a war which covered the entire world.
“Thankfully no one resorted to nuclear weapons or I doubt you would be reading this. The reason behind the war was simply the desire to control every copy of the blue prints and every surviving machine made from them. The war grew and grew until finally the man who had unwittingly started it ended it by giving a new creation to mankind, Magic! The power to control all was given to every man, woman and child on the face of the earth except for those belonging to or leading an army and the war swiftly ended with the destruction of the five at the hands of the people of the world.”
“From that moment the man and all of his friends were never seen again and the world had armed peace until the coming of the mutants.”
Marcella closes the book and tells Nebel one thing “There is actually one friend of that man still around… but it’s a secret so don’t tell anyone ok!?” she winks at him and gets up to leave, halfway through the door she stops and turns “Oh yeah, have you compared our two histories’ yet?”
Nebel having gotten to his feet while thinking about the history he had just been told, shakes his head “No, I was planning to do that in a few minutes.”
Marcella purses her lips before opening her mouth exaggeratedly “Ahhh, I was hoping to learn more about your world… well tell me what you find out!”
She leaves him and he soon follows her out into the hall…
