21 - Trigger - Nymbis and Zorro

Two hours later, I wake up, Lilith curled around me. I smile, thankful that last night was not a dream, and snuggle into her, and continue the simulation until she wakes up, hungry for more ‘discussion,’ I hope. A few more hours pass, and she starts to stir in my arms, I let her move, but stay tucked in with her.

“Hi…” She says sleepily, keeping her eyes shut.

“Good morning, how did you sleep?” I ask quietly. She nods against my chest.

“Good… Can I have some water…?” She asks.

“Yes, you may, as soon as you let me out of bed.” I pull at her, and she moves so I can get out of bed. I walk to the table naked as her food replicator dings. I pull the water out of it and carry it back to her. She smiles and takes the water, and I slip back under the covers

“Thank you…” She whispers, drinking some, then offering it back to me. I accept it and drain the remainder, then put the cup aside to hold her again. She cuddles close, seemingly more awake now. I hold her quietly until she wants something. She kisses my neck, then tilts her face up, seeming to ask for a kiss. I respond wholeheartedly, kissing her until I’m breathless. She grins when we finish.

“Should I call Twila back yet or do you have other plans for this morning?” She asks.

“Well, if you are willing, I would like another round of ‘discussion’,” I say. She smiles in answer, running her hand over my chest, and pushing me onto my back. I smile and let her do so, happy she wants to take over. She straddles my thighs, running her hands up and down my chest, my body ready for her very quickly, as she has nothing on. She smiles when she sees and runs her fingers slowly past my belly button, barely brushing my skin. I reach out and pull her down for a kiss, then let her continue. She whimpers as I pull on her, but when I pause with worry in my eyes, she dismisses it.

“Pleasure, not pain.” She says, gasping, before rising on her knees and sinking down onto me. I gasp as I fill her body and she works pleasure into every movement. She rides me passionately, but without the raw force of last night. She leans down and kisses my neck, cheeks, and lips frequently. I return the ones I can, mostly just enjoying the sensations washing over me. She moans and I gasp as she starts to cum. I jet in her again, and she pulls off me. I hand her a rag to clean up with, then we snuggle a little longer. Lillith finally sighs and wiggles against me.

“Before I summon her, we should maybe find some clothes.” She says.

I nod and hand her her morphing belt as I put mine on and morph it to regular clothes. I note with satisfaction that her eyes linger on me until I’m covered. She slips out of bed and I return the lingering gaze as she covers herself, then looks at me and slowly walks over to me, straddling my lap and kissing me tenderly, then she calls Twila back to this dimension. Lillith slides off my lap, sitting next to me as Twila appears.

“Good morning,” I say as Twila orients herself.

“Good morning. Did you get everything discussed you intended on last night?” Twila asks cheerfully, and beside me, I can see Lillith turning red.

“We did, not sure that we came to any conclusions, however. It’ll need more time, but we’re getting there.” I wink broadly at Twila. Lillith groans and hides her face in her hands.

“You two are awful…” She laments through her giggles.

“Yup.” Twila and I say at the same time.

I pause. “We should eat before jumping, there's no telling how long it’ll take to find food in the next world. Well, food for me.” The girls nod, and I duck out the door to find an animal to eat. When I return the girls have just finished up their breakfast.

“Should we bring the dishes with us?” Lillith asks. “Or do we leave them here and just assume we can make more if needed?”

“I can make more, but I’m hoping we’ll meet people, so I don’t have to.” Lilith nods.

“I’ll bless myself now because I should be able to jump in half an hour. Between blessing myself and Luck, we should land on a civilized world…” She says.

I nod. “That should help us out, get us more knowledge and experience.”

We straighten up the cabin and I secure the door from the outside, then we sit on the rock bench for the last few minutes before jumping, I’m excited, but also nervous, it's fun seeing a brand new world, and if we don’t like it, I can jump us out in a few more hours.

Lillith blinks. “I can feel something buzzing inside of me that just appeared.” She says suddenly. “Does it always buzz until you jump?”

The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.

“Hyper senses, remember?” Twila says. “You’d get used to it, most people can’t feel much at all.” Lillith nods and squeezes my hand. Twila is holding her other hand. Lillith takes a deep breath.

“Ready?” She asks. We both nod, and Lillith nods with us. “Ok then. Here it goes.” She says and closes her eyes.

ZORRO

In a flash of light and a slight falling feeling, the world changes around us, from native landscapes, to smog and gas lanterns. I hold my hand away from my body and focus for a bit.

“Plenty of sentients, some magic users, and a potential hint of planeswalker,” I tell the girls quietly. They nod. Lillith looks around. There are buildings pretty much everywhere, and I see a lot of metal and glass. The streets are paved with cobblestones and they are fairly narrow. Too narrow for cars to pass. I look up at a buzzing noise, and see a small insect-looking thing with jeweled wings flying a few feet above my head. It too, looks to be made of metal and glass, held together with an odd blend of arcanomancy and necromancy. A lady dressed in a long frilled gown walks towards us and the insect machine flutters over to her, circling her head before landing in her hair. I see several other jeweled objects on her dress and elaborate hairstyle that also seem to be alive, fluttering and settling their colored wings and metal bodies. The lady frowns at us and sniffs in disapproval, then seems to forget all about us. A young man hurries behind her, holding a frilled parasol that matches her dress to keep soot from landing on her. It’s only when Lillith’s clothes flash to a simpler dress that I realize why the woman may have been frowning at us. Twila’s voice reaches into our minds. ‘I think I’ll go back to the pact dimension and find better clothes, it will take me a few hours to create them. Lillith, send me an image of ‘normal’ here? I have a feeling that lady is a higher class than we want to be.”

‘I’ll send you what I see, and agree with you.’ Lillith responds. I nod.

‘We should find a man to copy as well, for me. That boy doesn’t count.’ I say. Lillith lets out a quiet giggle.

‘You don’t feel like being my personal slave?’ She teases. Twila vanishes with a blink of light again.

‘We don’t need that kind of attention.’ I smirk, then look up. The buildings surrounding us are tall, with fewer windows on the middle layers. ‘Looks like a good place for us to hide if it comes to that.’ I think to Lillith, and she nods slowly.

‘In the meantime, I somewhat fit in now, and I can make you invisible until we find what you need to look like, if you want.”

I shake my head. ‘I’m good, just listing options, a habit from pre-Discovery, so many of my friends wouldn’t see options until I pointed them out.’

Lillith shrugs. ‘I probably wouldn’t have thought of it either. I’m just hoping to avoid needing to hide. Besides, with my ghost, most people won’t notice us for more than a moment. It doesn’t work on everyone, but…’

I start walking along the street, keeping my eyes peeled for motion and magic. Lillith walks with me, shyly slipping her hand into my elbow. She seems nervous, more than the slight noise around us and mainly empty streets call for. I lead her to the end of the street where the sound seems to be coming from, and we approach something like a circular courtyard where people are talking. A constant hum of machines surrounds us as well, overlaying the voices in the open area. I stay in the shadows at the end of the street, studying the people milling about. It seems to be a market of some type. People are buying and selling things, and all of the better-dressed people have at least one mechanical invention with them. The ladies, even the ones dressed much less finely than the one we crossed paths with earlier, have at least one shimmery bug with them. Only the women wearing plain tan cloth don’t have any flying ornaments, it seems. The men vary in the richness of the clothes and colors, with the better clothes being higher up, and the highest ranks have frills on the front of the shirt and jacket, swords are common on the men, no matter their rank, it seems. Most of the ladies that aren’t dressed in what I’ve assumed to be the lowest classes are escorted by a man.

‘Adjust your clothes to something in the mid to lower ranked and let Twila know, and I'll do the same thing for myself.’ I send to Lillith. She nods and takes a few steps back, then her clothes turn to a light blue frilled dress. It’s the level I was thinking of, and I nod in approval. She blushes and stares off into the distance, blinking a few times, presumably sending Twila the information. I focus on my attire, matching levels with Lillith, forming Justice, and placing him into a scabbard on my side. Lillith steps to my other side and slips her hand through the crook of my elbow again. ‘I can understand language once I hear it, and I think I could transfer that language to your AI once I have comprehension. It might take a few minutes to transfer it all, but then you could speak it.’ Lillith says.

‘That should work, and it’ll start giving the AI the ability to break down languages, Earth languages are only so varied.’ Lillith nods.

“So… We should walk through the market then…’ She thinks to me, sounding hesitant.

I nod and start walking that way. She reluctantly follows, her hand clenching my arm tightly.

‘Just focus on translating them and sending me the data. It’ll be ok.’ I reassure her, then feel a large chunk of memory being transferred, my AI quickly breaking it down.

‘It’s just, I don’t really like crowds… I probably should have said something earlier.’ Lillith sends a second later as we walk into the slightly brighter bustling area. People brush shoulders with us, and I glance around, attempting to figure out what they use as currency. The language is starting to clear up now, thanks to Alastor and the AI. I see a man hand a merchant some coins, similar to Earth, and I remind myself that the concept is pretty much the same, stamped chunks of metal. I can’t tell what the material or picture is, however, they seem slightly larger than earth coins, the space between two of my knuckles across.
